When you go in, there's a movie that sets the stage. Can get boring for kids, yet works well for adults. Then, you just follow the route through about six or seven rooms ranging from a fossil dig, to history going back to the dinosaur age, to geologic history, along with a room that is "find the ancient animal" that kids love. Once finished, you've gradually moved from the 1st floor to the 2nd. There's a few more small exhibits. Then... outside is a route that goes around much of the building that has life-size recreated dinosaurs in their habitats. Takes about 90 minutes to do the whole thing depending on whether you are just adults, or have kids that are interested.

The owner Kass, told us she would try to make it happen considering the flow, and we got lucky....Thank you Kass for all phases of running a successful family business. Your wonderful guides, Ava, Alex, Austin and lead guide Rain were all so amazing in making safety the priority yet having fun. The knowledge they all have of the Canyons history and its peoples made the trip so much more interesting and memorable. Our guide Austin was as authentic a human being as a human his age could be. I know how proud his Dad and Mom are of him, as they did an incredible job in raising him... but again, that would easily go for Ava, Alex, and Rain !! So, this trip would be rated higher than five stars for the DRE Team if I could, I thank you all for the hard work you all put into making this happen...Mark Sandeen

I imagined myself sitting on a raft for lengthy hours bored to death. He persisted and I reluctantly agreed. Now that the trip is over, I am so glad my husband persisted, and honestly I could have easily stayed for a longer period of time. The guides (Joe, Payton, Donovin, Jess, Rain, and Luke) were hardworking, interesting, cheerful, skilled, and a joy to be around. The food was delicious and freshly made every day. The rapids were fun. The views were amazing, at every bend there seemed to be something new to see. Not only did we have time to swim and paddle, but also to take hikes and explore the surrounding area. I would do a trip with Dinosaur River Expeditions again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend them.

The later were enjoying all aspects of the park, particularly the water. The park has very unique features. First, for its size, it's amazing the variety of trees it hosts. It also has a cute gazebo next to a small creek that is crossed by two small Japanese garden bridges. While the City could invest more in this park, it is still a very nice place to walk and relax - specially near the sunset of a sunny day!
