Been on Yelp for many years and have probably only left 1 or 2 negative reviews. But unfortunately this one warrants it. I ordered $2,000 worth of attractions for my Halloween event and paid a 20% deposit. I was told they would arrive at 3 to set up for my event that began at 5. At 4 they hadn't showed up or called, so I reached out and was told they were 30 minutes out. I asked if they'd really be able to set up in 30 minutes as my event started at 5 and was told they would try. At 4:40 no one had arrived and called back and was told they were still at their last event....in ARCADIA. 47 miles away. The girl on the phone was nice enough, but didn't seem overly concerned. There was no gushing I'm so sorry, how can we make this right, just a yeah it's too bad attitude. I asked how soon they could get there and how long it would take to set up. She called me back and told me the OWNER said they wouldn't arrive until 6:30 pm. NINETY minutes after my event started. Okay, so not even derelict delivery dudes, but the owner totally fine with saying he'll roll in 3.5 hours late. Never even offered me a discounted rate. As I'm recounting this I'm still kind of astonished. And even more puzzled that they have over 600 positive reviews. Maybe they're great. I wouldn't know. They never showed up. Thankfully I had some other items booked, from more professional and responsible vendors, who actually keep their word and care about my business. I was very excited about the prospect of using this company as my organization hosts multiple events with thousands of people in attendance annually, but I won't work with someone who does business like this. The left several dismal holes in my event where their products were supposed to be. If you have a bunch of vendors, then maybe try your luck and see if these guys feel like gracing you with their presence. But I would NEVER trust them with the entirety of your event. Because they clearly do not care. read more

Booking was easy (you will need a permit from the city if you're setting up in a public park). They showed up early to set up and we were up and ready to jump/slide in 20 minutes. They called to let us know they were going to be 30 minutes late to pick up and if that was ok. An extra free 30 minutes? The kids were not going to be upset! Great experience, very professional, and good communication. I recommend Cindy's! read more

Cindy's Jumpers - Party Equipment Rentals Near Me - Paramount, California

Refused to deliver to a location in their service area. It is clearly available in their service area on their website. I asked the lady on the phone why she refused to deliver, and she said, "because we just don't want to." Why have a service map if you refuse service in that area? Unreal. Maybe they're just too important for our business. read more

We are returning customers simply because Cindy's Jumpers are great! Phone staff very helpful and drop off and pick up was quick and efficient! And the jumper was clean and was a big hit! 10 out of 10 would recommend them and will use them for all our party needs! read more

If zero stars were an option that would be the true rating for this company. This is probably the worst company I ever had an encounter with. The lady they have as their customer service/front office person should not be representing this company. The way she speaks to people, raising her voice, cuts you off when you speak and cusses out you is not a way a company should be represented. And because I "pissed her off" she canceled me order which now ruins our kids party. They requested a copy of the renters ID and a copy of the permit from the party which by her own admission was sent in last week to the owner while she was "out of the office". When she returned back to the office the owner was "incapable" to forward her the email. So when we went to try and pay the deposit the website would not allow us to pay. So we called on Monday during business hours to see why we couldn't pay. The lady responded because we never responded to her direct email she sent requesting the ID and permit. When we told her we did she said "you didn't send it to me directly it was send to the owner". Ok, but it was sent to the company I'm sure the owner can forward it. Then she went on to say she needed insurance information from the city when again that is not true she needed to provide the city with the COI. She dropped the ball and did not want to take accountability for how she was speaking to me or how she handled the situation. We requested multiple times to speak to the owner since he was the one who actually would help us and every time in this process when we spoke to the lady she would contradict what the owner would tell us and say they couldn't do it. She said well I am canceling your offer so it doesn't matter if you speak to the owner or not. Seems like she doesn't like to more work helping new customers that are having a party in a park. So unless your party is at a home where no additional work needs to be done by her I do not recommend using this company because she just makes up rules as she goes and is very rude and unprofessional. read more

Read other reviews with the same experience. This review is in regards to booking a bouncer at the park. I booked through their website which was already very confusing and convoluted. What should have been a $200 bouncer, pretty much doubled. After I had booked this bouncer, Blanca called and said I needed to add a generator (extra $129). I get the updated receipt and not only was a generator added but a specify time fee of $25 was also added. I admit that the generator fee is on the website (though a very confusing website) nowhere does it say that the specify time delivery fee is necessary. In any case, I decided to cancel my order and go with a different company. Thankfully I only paid a 10% deposit vs paying in full. However Cindy jumpers refuses to refund me the 10% fee and give me a "store credit" honestly it's laughable how petty and ridiculous that they won't refund me $20 for something they didn't make clear on their website. They also go as far as to tell me "well I could've asked to waive certain fees." The burden shouldn't be on the customer to ask to waive fees if the fee isn't necessary in the fiest place. Literally admitting they charged an unnecessary fee to me without me even knowing. I'm not the first to mention the hidden and added fees, check out other reviews. This company needs a better system for booking. Their prices are also NOT competitive. I ended up going with another better bouncer company for almost half the price. No secret fees, no confusing website, not even a damage waiver option (because that's not actually really necessary apparently), no travel fee. I try to be fair with my review so I will give them an extra star because they were quick with their responses. And I'm sure if you book this for a private party at home this would've been a simple streamlined booking. But i am terribly disappointed in their customer service - from the owner to his supervisors to his employees (who also spoke to me in a condescending manner. read more
