I felt so bad after my initial appointment, that I cancelled my next and ended up getting another therapist in town. She made me pay my co-payment after my session, which wasn't an issue, but three months later sent a delinquent notice to my parents saying my co-pay was three months overdue. I had never received a bill to my Lawrence address saying I owed her money, not that I really did, I paid her the same day. If I were you, I would consider another therapist before trusting this woman with your mental health or money.

Dr. Suber is an excellent doctor who cares about patients and takes the necessary time with you…read morerather than rushing you in and out. Her staff are friendly, professional and efficient unlike many practices in town who seem to care less about patients and drop the ball when it comes to personal attention and professionalism. The practice is small enough that you get the individual attention you need while offering ancillary services such as lab work on site. They offer electronic check in using a tablet where you can even pay your bill by swiping your credit card as well as a patient portal where your electronic record can be updated and checked. My only complaint being the fact I that after one week I was not notified about whether or not my lab work was complete, causing concern over the results. I have had some imperfect experiences with therapists before, but nothing like this. In the first months she was mostly ok, though somewhat unprofessional. She would text on her phone during sessions and she wasn't always paying attention. She also criticized the receptionist, which left me feeling like I had to protect that person. But, I realize that social workers are human too, so I was trying to overlook those issues. But in the last session she was so odd and cruel that I have had nightmares a year later. I had to go to a food bank to feed my family, and when I told her that, she balled her hands up into fists and gasped and just launched into chastizing me. She squeezed her eyes into slits and jutted her chin out while pursing her lips together. It looked kind of like a toddler who was very upset and having a tantrum. And she was exhaling in hissing sounds. I was just sitting there in total shock. She acted like I had committed a horrible crime. In the same session, I had just told her that the transmission on our car had failed. I am disabled and low-income, and I had spent months telling her how hard I was trying to be frugal and thrifty. And I struggle with severe social anxiety, so obviously I would never willingly walk into a food bank if I didn't truly need help. There is something really wrong with her. I think she must really need some help. But, whatever her problems were... she took them out on a client that day. She made my social anxiety worse. She also has clear and obvious issues with anyone who is overweight, disabled, etc. Stay safe and avoid this social worker. I have not worked with any of the other people at this location so I have no information about them.

After seeing my regular doctor and having testing done it was determined I had probably slipped a rib out of place or something. I then sought out to find a chiropractor to try to relieve the pain I had been in for the past 10 days. Well I found Dr. Whitney Rutledge and thank god I did. She was very through in her questioning of my injury and symptoms then she let the magic happen. I felt instant relief during the adjustments and I felt literally better than I had felt in years. Like a dummy I waited almost a year before returning back to see her. I had some pain in my lower back and it felt like my hip was kind of out of whack this time. Once again it was like magic, instant relief again and it may sound silly but I felt like I could even breathe better after the appointment. I'm not going to make this mistake again and I have started going on a regular basis to see her. Every time I feel great when leaving and have always had a great experience with her. She is very good at what she does and is a joy to talk to!! Thank You Dr. Rutledge, you are AWESOME!!
