And if I can save anyone from some of what I've endured, I'm happy to. Dr. Holmes must be very old and I'm doubtful that he's ever taken any continuing medical education review classes. He seems sedated or disinterested. He asks questions such as "Well who told you that?" When the answers are, for example, "your nurse," or "the Mayo Clinic." The advice he gives is outdated to say the least. He is uncaring and maybe he's just at a point where he's jaded and needs to retire. I'm just very sorry I ever had to deal with him as a patient and I hope you never have to either. We all deserve better care.

I've had a lingering cough from what I thought was a cold going on four weeks now. I originally…read morewent to Tallgrass Clinic on Monday and was told it was just a lingering cough and prescribed a cough suppressant guaranteed to "kill my cough" in a few days. Fast-forward to Friday where I'm still coughing, in fact, my cough seems worse again! I'd really been feeling like the NP at Tallgrass was wrong so I sought a second opinion and tried Cotton O'Neill ExpressCare at my husband's recommendation. The MD I got was really personable and listened to me and asked me lots of questions about my symptoms and experiences. She listened to my breathing and felt she could hear something strange, so had me go get chest x-rays in the clinic. The radiologist examined the x-rays which were normal, but her gut was telling her something more was wrong. She treated me as having bronchitis and prescribed an antibiotic (given all the hubbub with antibiotics being over prescribed, this clinic even issued a statement saying they'll only prescribe it if absolutely necessary). She also prescribed an optional cough suppressant since the other one did nothing for me. I can now say a day later, I'm feeling better already! The MD was clearly right and I'm very grateful for her knowledge and expertise! I will definitely go to this place for all my urgent minor medical needs!
