Twice now I've gotten in the car to drive down because I got frustrated with not being able to reach someone. They also close the office from 12:00 to 1:30 for lunch everyday. I always schedule lunches with my team so that there's coverage of the office for our stakeholders during the weekday. I really wish they would consider that 12:00 to 1:00 is the only time a lot of us have to call and straighten things out when we're in need of help. When people recommended her the one thing they said was at the front office wasn't great, now I see what they mean and we are considering changing to another provider not because Dr Yim isn't great, but because her front office staff needs to become more service-oriented.

They are all super friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and give the best care. Their original/ first location is in San Dimas. Dr. Michael's works out of both offices but is mostly in South Pasadena in the mornings. We have been to the SD location when we happened to be in the area and needed immediate help. The office staff are so kind and willing to help at both offices. I like the SP office more because of all the cute decor, child friendly furniture, toys, and crafts they put in the patient's rooms. At the end of every visit, you get an email with the summary notes which you can access through the patient portal. You can also make video appointments if needed. The doctors always want your kids to have a positive experience there so they usually ask parents if it's ok to give a lollipop or a sticker. We highly recommend Foothill Pediatrics.

I like that Dr. G's style is straight to the point and she doesn't confuse you with too many details. She always emphasizes important information to remember during appointments. She also provides very useful handouts about medications, feeding, potty training, and other helpful information I would never even think to ask about. Dr. G is super knowledgeable and helps ease my anxieties at checkups when she explains normal developmental milestones, tips on enforcing healthy sleeping habits, and other random tips on parenting. It is amazing how she can remember details and asks follow-up questions about my baby when we have appointments months later. After trying her suggestions, I forget that we even had those previous issues with my baby by the next appointment. The nurses in the office are very quick/friendly when giving vaccines and during other procedures, which helps because my baby has 1 of the top 3 worst scream cries I've ever experienced while personally working with 2000+ babies. I really appreciate that Dr. G and her staff have always been professional and never made me feel guilty/uncomfortable like other friends/family who cannot hide their shock at my baby's ear-piercing cries. Also, 10 minutes in baby time can make a huge difference, so I think it is great that appointments don't fall too behind and are quick/easy. We are usually out in 20min from walking in, which is super helpful when breastfeeding or trying to stick with a nap schedule. Dr. G has been seeing my baby for almost 2 years now and I'm lucky to have her as a doctor for my 2nd baby in a few months. I was considering changing insurances for a family plan with my husband, but I feared losing Dr. G as a pediatrician so I decided to pay more and keep my current insurance plan. I've also experienced many pediatricians (8-9) for myself, since I moved a lot, and can honestly say that none of my own awesome pediatricians were as awesome as Dr. G. I noticed that in negative reviews of Dr. G's office, people had issues with booking appointments. Unfortunately, any good doctor's office is going to be booked for weeks in advance because patients want them as doctors. I've had to go to urgent care for the flu, injuries, or prescriptions because I couldn't book same week appointments with my primary physician. It must be more stressful because it is your baby, but it is unfair to be upset at Dr. G's office for healthcare/ insurance issues that are common for everyone in the country.

Sadly to say,but she's no longer our pediatrician because her group (health care partners) is no longer in our insurance. After having to look for 3 other pediatricians, there's no doctor like her and her nice pediatric office. I'm still hoping her group will sign on with our insurance in the future.*crossing fingers* Yes,Dr.Lee has a lot of patients but we only wait 5-10 minutes for us to be seen by her. She will ask you if you have any questions or concern and will take the time to answer them. Sometimes we'll even chat and laugh about other things since I've known her for so long. When my daughter was really sick, she even called me to check how she was doing. She's very caring and approachable. Thank you Dr.Lee! There's 7 other pediatricians that you can see there if Dr.Lee is not in for that day. They are all very good doctors. If you child is sick or have any concerns on a weekend or late at night,one of the doctors will call you back right away. They use a laptop as a chart instead of using a regular piece of paper,not like our current pediatrician, so that's really cool. The waiting area- has a non sick child area,sick room area and a breast feeding room. Hi 5 to that! She tells you exactly what you need to do, and will go out of her way to make sure you understand. Besides Celoni, the office is a children's wonderland! It's full of toys and life, all different kinds, each individual room also has many toys and fun things to entertain the children. The office has so much character, just like Celoni! She knows exactly how to treat children and what environment makes them most comfortable, just skills you acquire through many years of experience.
