Myself and my two daughters have been going to this nail salon since it's opening. Up til today I have had no complaints. However, my daughter and I went in to have our ANC removed and a pedicure and what ensued was despicable! In the middle of us being there, my nail tech and my daughter's nail tech broke out in a turbulent argument. I mean they actually left our stations and got in each other's faces. The manager, Cindy, sat there for most of the argument and did absolutely nothing!!! This went on for quite some time. After the argument/fight finally ended, I was left to sit there with no one helping me. I was still waiting to have my nails done. Meanwhile they assisted other customers. I finally spoke out and asked if anyone was going to do my nails. My daughter was almost finished and she had an appointment at 3 which left us no time for lunch and we should have had plenty of time!! Furthermore, no one apologized except the gentleman who did my nails who was extremely polite. All the manager, Cindy, did was offer me a $5 credit for the removal of the ANC. That was after I questioned the pricing! This is how you treat loyal customers??? It was a major inconvenience for both myself and my daughter and it wasn't a very relaxing experience at all, especially for my daughter who suffers anxiety!! Rest assured I am finding a new nail salon. They don't deserve my money! Cindy is a terrible manager to have let that go on for as long as she did. I have never once seen her greet and/or thanks her customers either. She just lost 3 loyal customers!!! She doesn't even deserve one star as a rating but unfortunately I had to choose something! As a matter of fact I didnt even have time for my finger nails to dry and now half of them are messed up!! Very frustrating!!! read more

hands down the BEST ANC manicure in the capital region! I've tried about 4 or 5 other places and Cinderella was the fastest and best quality. My nails lasted 4 weeks without chipping. I paid $35 (without tip) for a french style ANC, and even though that's on the higher end of the spectrum price-wise, I've paid that before and it was worth it this time. read more

WOW! I've gone here a total of 2 times, the first time I went, the lady did a good job and messed up the anc on my thumb but fixed it and made it right and look nice.. been going to a few places trying to find a place to stick with but my problem is that my anc cracks or breaks 3 days after! so ridiculous.. the second time i went i got a male and he smudged my nail and there was a crack in another! I asked him to fix it and he only fixed the one with a smudge on it and then had the audacity to tell me " I was picky" So to be clear I asked him " your not going to fix my nail?" and he told me no.... I can't believe how rude he was! I'm a paying customer. They may be able to treat their woman like that in their culture but I was appalled he was not going to speak to me like that.. What an ass! Are these people even licensed nail techs? I don't even think they are.. another lady came over and she fixed it for me...I was so shocked by what he had said to me... Also my nails chipped within a week... For the price you pay you can go elsewhere to people who speak English and are actually licensed nail techs.. SKETCHY AND RUDE! STAY AWAY! read more

I went to Cinderella when my usual place was booked up, and I am so glad that I did. I have never had a better experience or manicure. I always get ANC on my natural nails. They have a huge selection of ANC and it's displayed very well it's not on a messy ring that they throw at you. I got the nail tech at station 5 and she was lovely. I had found something on Pinterest I wanted and when I showed her she took my phone and looked through the colors herself to find exactly what I was looking for quickly and efficiently. She asked me 3 times if I liked the colors before she started and ensured that I was happy along the way. I have been to salons that use the drill to get ANC color off, they treat your nails much better by soaking in hot water with acetone then using acetone, no drill for removal. I had broken my thumb nail and it was significantly shorter than the rest, she offered to put a tip or leave it, it was nice to have the option and not feel forced or judged for not getting a tip (I always break them.) She even gave a little shoulder rub after. The ambiance of the salon is nice, clean, and relaxing. I liked that nail techs wernt yelling or talking to eachother across the salon (seems common for salon culture) but focusing on their clients instead. My nails look great I felt pampered and relaxed and the prices are right. read more

I will definitely be back! I got a pedicure that was amazing. They have multiple pedicure options. I got the hot stone spa pedicure for $35 and it included a lengthy foot massage (10 min each side), callus removal, heel hot wax, hot stone massage, scrub and normal pedi business that I'm probably missing. The atmosphere of the place is new and clean. There prices are really good too ranging from 25 to 60 for the different pedicure options. read more

I went to Cindarella Nails yesterday in hopes of getting something cute and Halloween-y because Halloween is my favorite holiday and I am hosting a party this weekend to celebrate. When I walked in, I asked if they do designs and stuff, they said yes. So I picked out my gel color for my manicure and sat down. The lady doing my nails was very friendly and gentle... BUT she did not shape my nails correctly, they are not at all symmetrical, they're all different lengths and the edges are very rough. She also did not apply the polish correctly, and I'm pretty certain the polish will begin to chip at any moment. I also have bubbles and spots where there more polish than others, making them look lumpy. When it came time to do the design, (a very simple spiderweb) they STRUGGLED big time. First, she tried and gave up pretty quickly, then another woman came over and attempted and it looked like something a toddler would do. I asked them to remove it, which they did without issue. So now I just have plain black nails.. not very exciting and not at all what I originally had planned on getting when I walked in. I left feeling very disappointed and like I had just wasted my money. I would recommend making an appointment with Cindy or Joe if you ever find yourself in the Latham area in need of a manicure. A nail salon worth not going to! The staff was far from warm and welcoming and the pedicure they gave me was absolutely terrible! A whopping 20 minutes it took for the pedicure and they gave me a very poor paint job on all of my toes (some of them aren't even fully painted!!), they didn't scrub my feet so they're still rough on the bottom, and she didn't even massage my legs. Cinderella was recommended by a friend. She was very pleased with the services performed and the nail techs. My daughter and I went I in on a Saturday morning. We did not have appointments. We were greeted at the front door by a very nice gentleman who was so nice. The salon is very bright, clean, and welcoming. We picked our ANC colors and sat down. What a great experience. Our nails look fabulous. Our nails techs - and everyone - at the salon were so friendly, nice, and welcoming. Our nail techs, Kiki and Angela, were the best. Sometimes you can feel uncomfortable at a nail salon. Not so at Cinderella. We will definitely be back. Such a great gem. read more

Worst experience I've had at a nail salon in years. Made 2 appointments. They kept mine, but not my friends. She waited 30 minutes before she walked out. They said nothing to her, then apologized to me saying they were short staffed and other customers wanted longer services. I told them we were first time customers and that my friend def wouldn't be back. My pedi was average, at best. My tech was rough, cut me twice, wanted to use the drill on my natural nails because she was too lazy to do my cuticles. She was irritated when I told her that she didn't need to file my nails. Then she messed up my gel mani. Had to soak off first coat. At that point, I was done. Had them scrap off gel and told them I was leaving. They still charged me. Horrendous customer service!! My usual place had a long wait so I stopped in here because it was close. I already had gel on my nails and wanted it redone. I didn't have to wait long and I liked the selection of colors. I chose a pale peachy pink with glitter in it. When the girl took that number out it was hot pink with glitter. Not even close. She couldn't find anything close so I ended up just telling her to use it anyway. Then my gel removal. She was so anxious to get on her phone that she didn't wrap one of my fingers in the foil and remover, I had to tell her. Then she didn't wait long enough for it to work and instead of it wiping off she scraped it off with a metal tool that pulled up layers of my nail with it. My nails were not clipped evenly in length, not even on the same hand and barely filed. They were like sandpaper on the end. The actual painting looked good but she didn't cap the ends so now 5 days later they're already chipping. Usually my nails last three weeks and only need changing because they grew out. Really unhappy. Worst I've ever had done. read more
