When I dropped off my dry cleaning they wouldn't give me a quoted price or estimate. I asked them how much each item was the price the older woman gave me was lower than what I was charged. I asked why that was and she lied again saying that was what she originally told me. Even with the supposed discount it was still significantly more than other shops I've gone to in the past. All three were returned to me and shrunk by 3-4 inches. All of my dresses were in excellent condition and hardly worn. Upon contacting management I was told that they did not shrink them, although I provided a brand new dress with tags to them to show them in comparison. They also told me they talked to the person who washed them and that they wash thousands of garments a day. How do you know exactly who washed my garments when you wash thousands a day? All three dresses are valued at over $500 all together at retail. I was offered $100 in compensation and they refused to refund my $40 dry cleaning fee. This happened 4 months ago and management has been ignoring my calls and texts regarding the matter. They also refused to send the garments off to get tested to see if they were shrunk by chemicals, temperature etc. This is all in direct violation of the fair claims guide for consumer textile products. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced, the manager raised his voice at my multiple times and insinuated I was lying on multiple occasions. I will be filing a report with the BBB as this is extremely illegal and poor business practices. Run away from this place, terrible business practice, shady ownership and unprofessional management.
