You must try their classic cinamon square and a black coffee. This is what they are known for locally.

I am giving it 4 stars because for coffee and a Cinnamon bun or cupcake it is lovely. They also made a fantastic cake for my Mum's birthday. HOWEVER our last visit for lunch was somewhat to be desired and we will only be back for coffee & cakes in future. My lunch was just a bowl of what seemed liked a processed jar of spaghetti sauce with two eggs on top and 4 bits of dry toast with no butter offered. See picture, I mean it really was awful, I hardly touched it and the waiter when he took it away said "Yeah, we have been trying to get then to take that off the menu" HELLO then until you do, why not warn folks when they order it. No refund was offered and I filled out the form they gave us and no contact was made to make it right....I waited a few days before making this review thinking management would contact. Also when we walked in we really wanted to look at the cakes and decide which we wanted, but the man behind the counter was really pushy about leading us to a table, there was no one else there so we were not holding anyone up. Disappointing experience, we will know better than to order lunch there in future. However as a coffee shop it is lovely and quite charming. read more
