Having been a customer for several years, I am appalled at the prices you…read moreare now charging for shoes. A used pair for $10.00 is almost laughable. The clothes, the books, the volunteers and paid employees are listening to the customers regards the high price of shoes. Customers attending a Thrift Store are not necessarily poverty people, nor are they high end customers. The fun of perhaps finding an item is kind of exciting, but looking for a pair of shoes to be used in a garden, or perhaps a one time dancing affair is getting rediculous. The fact that I shop at your store is getting to be rare. The shoes are just not selling. I have tried several time to phone either Pam of Sue and told to text them. No one answers. I am disappointed.m Rita Jacks

If you live in Illinois or Iowa, and have some electronics to recycle - this is your spot. My mom…read morehad an old shredder to get rid of and was having trouble finding a place but had picked up their brochure somewhere a while back. We made the trek out here, and they were super friendly and happy to take her shredder. And it's FREE. They accept a long list of electronics which I've attached a picture of. They will shred documents if you need it, but you'll have to pay for that. They also accept your typical recycled paper and aluminum goods. Keep in mind they're only open M-F 9a-330p.

I had to move in January of this year and got quotes for moving about 30 miles. Eric was responsive…read moreto my questions so I went with his company. The week I was supposed to move brought bad weather. I had a long gravel driveway and expressed to Eric that his truck may not make it through on moving day and that we should reschedule. He assured me that it would. On moving day they spent in total almost 2 hours trying to get the truck in and out of the driveway. They were not able to take my mower or other lawn equipment on the truck and offered a flatbed at an additional cost. I had no faith that the flatbed would be able to get in/out of the driveway with the snow so I decided to call on a later date for the equipment. His crew cracked my headboard and left cigarette butts at both houses. When I contacted him about moving the lawn equipment in April he did not respond.

I went to Fluff and Fold Laundromat on Saturday and started doing my laundry. I chose to go there…read morebecause they have a large number of washing machines, and I had a lot of laundry to do. About ten minutes after I arrived, the power went out. I contacted the owner, and the owner told me that it was my fault because I was running too many washing machines at the same time. That explanation makes absolutely no sense. Why would you have that many washing machines available if they are not all capable of being run at the same time? That is exactly what I said to the owner, and the owner promptly hung up on me. To make matters even worse, a couple of pieces of our clothing were completely destroyed by their washing machines. I will be uploading pictures of the damaged clothing and attaching them later. I would recommend looking into other local laundromats, as the prices are also less just about anywhere else you go.
