Very little meat

I eat there every Tuesday for taco Tuesday and today they literally put half the amount of meat that they normally would put in each taco and it sucks because normally it would feed us all but everyone's hungry lol idk what they're doing now but it's not cool

Note: I've never visited this shop in person- but I always order from them on Door Dash, and I love their food and prices. Overall, my favorite dish is their fish taco! It comes with a chipotle sour cream on top, along with pico de gallo and cabbage. Their fish is always crispy and it's a generous portion. Beef flautas: they come with a generous amount of beef and they are not overcooked! They're not dry, and they come with a generous amount of guacamole and cheese on top. Bean and cheese burrito: also good! Their refried beans are flavored well, they taste like onion and garlic! Beef taquitos: SUPER dry. Each time I've ordered them, they were so overcooked that the beef did not have any flavor anymore, and the tortillas were so hard they kind of hurt my teeth. The only good part was the guacamole and cheese topping. Overall, I've loved everything I've tried here except those beef taquitos!

They still fries in the Carne Asada fries

Today is June 28, 2026 earlier today maybe less than an hour ( We live six minutes away from this restaurant we gave you some time before writing the review so that's why it's about an hour )ago I bought food from this place. The food we received not only did it take a long time to get it when we received it and took it home which we should inspected it before we left, but we didn't. My fries were hard. The food was lukewarm, and the guacamole tasted bad. My boyfriend's burrito was extremely dry. The Cheetos were old and stale. The french fries were also old and about 20 minutes after consumption he vomited because of the food. The customer service was about the only good thing there other than that everything else that we experienced from this place was bad the long wait time Customer's coming in after us receiving their food. Me and him were sitting for approximately 15 minutes and we just ordered Carne Asada fries and a burrito. I would not recommend anybody going to this place. We spent over $40 here and it was not worth it.

Nachos with cheese, sour cream and shredded beef.

Food was ready within 10 minutes fresh with the taste of home made. Service is excellent as always.

Green Pozole verde

Excellent food, exceptional service and reasonably priced food for the large portions. Finding this hidden gem was truly a happy little accident and my entire family enjoys what Cilantro's has to offer including the kind staff that is very welcoming. We ordered to go but I'm sure it's a pleasant experience to eat inside the restaurant as it is very inviting and provides comfortable seating for a small or large group.

This was our second time here, this time for brunch! We got the burrito and the queso fundido…read more OMG!! The queso fundido was sooooo amazing! I definitely want to get it again in the future. The burrito was so good as well. I was not too fond of the agave syrup drizzle as I don't like mixing sweet and savory, but if that's your thing, go for it! Eventually I only had room for the filling, so that was nice and savory. The cafe de olla was delicious as well. I REALLY commend this restaurant for not using AI graphics. The signs and menu looked like they were designed by a real designer. Great job! My only complaint was that the table next to us had an iPad kid with loud volume. I feel that restaurants should impose policies of not letting personal devices be so loud as to not bother other patrons.

It's huge and we really liked the combination of steak, chicken, shrimp, sausage and chorizo. I really liked how they separated the beans in a cup, the rice and the tortillas. Very neat and clean. 2nd try: My husband tried the Mar Y Tierra Burrito and its very very spicy. We couldnt finish it so we put it to go. I ordered the Enchiladas Sirloin Ranchero and definitely a huge serving. It was my first time to try enchiladas and honestly I struggled to understand what I'm eating. Was it supposed to be super soggy and everything in one plate? I dont understand why they had to put beans within the plate and the plate seems overflowing. I dont know where the Sirloin is. The spicyness was tolerable for the enchiladas but I believe I regret ordering it. I cant finish it so also asked for to go.

We got there early and got a good spot in the Patio. The service was amazing Jose and Karen provided what felt like white glove service in a fun atmosphere. We had the Mango Habanero Aguachiles and the Breakfast Tlayuda as well and both were superb. For me the Aguachiles needed a bit more spice so Karen recommended their matcha salsa and that went well with everything! Will definitely be coming back! Thank you all for a great experience!

The horchata tastes great and is homemade which is why I always order it as it's not too sweet. My favorite dish has been the 7 Mares soup and their green hot sauce which is super good. The salsa always tastes fresh and spicy and tastes great with the chips. Another thing was that the food came out pretty fast. I definitely recommend it to anyone trying to find a new place to eat at.

We love City Tacos and will continue to visit on a regular basis.) We love City Tacos in La Mesa. We come here often. Normally when you order the carne asada tacos they are made from perfectly charred seasoned beef. I recommended them to my husband and said everything else pales in caparison as a beef eater. What we received tonight was a shredded beef taco with pieces of pork rinds on top. I was so disappointed. If this was an attempt at a replacement or trying something new the cashier should have said something. Please just be honest as to what you are serving for the night so we have the opportunity to make different choices if needed. I'll be back, but now I'll have to ask a lot of questions before ordering since I don't trust the menu.

Walking into Panchos, you are immediately greeted by a bright, colorful and welcoming scene. It gives you the feeling of walking into your tía's favorite old school restaurant. The tables and benches are dark wood. And there is papel picado hanging. It's charming. You get the feeling that Panchos has been around for decades. Apparently, the restaurant has been open here since 2004. And the real star? Our server, whose name I cannot recall. He was equal parts waiter and comedian, a very kind man who was highly attentive and extremely helpful. If you like spicy salsa, be sure to tell him to bring you the good stuff from the back (after he offers you bland Tapatio). The menu is absolutely massive. They have breakfast burritos, breakfast plates, chips and fries, shrimp plates, soups (check with the team about offerings, like caldo de res), tortas, quesadillas and a kid's menu and more. I highly recommend the cheese enchiladas and the chile relleno. The chile relleno is especially good. It isn't your soggy, cafeteria-style relleno drowned in red sauce and regret. It is the best comfort food, and Panchos does it well. There is a generous melt of Oaxacan cheese, the batter is very light without being greasy. And then there was the ranchero sauce! Tangy tomatoes, a hint of garlic, and a tiny bit of chili. So very good. Also popular on the menu is a pitcher of margaritas, which you should plan on sharing with three others. The mango margarita is also quite nice. And they also have a Baileys & Coffee. And you can easily get a delicious, filling meal for $20 or less. All around, a great place.
