love stopping by Cigar International on a Friday night. The live music always creates a great vibe and makes it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The bartenders are friendly and provide great service, and the cigars are always fresh and well stocked. Parking can be a bit of a mess sometimes, but the atmosphere and experience definitely make it worth the visit. Great spot for cigar lovers!

First time going, it was a really nice atmosphere. I'm not experienced in the cigar world, but the team was very helpful and picked out the perfect cigar for me. It paired really well with my drink (which the bartender was AMAZING) will be back for sure.

Solid cigar spot with a big humidor and knowledgeable staff. I had a good experience getting help from someone in the humidor who knew his cigars and gave solid recommendations without pushing too hard. Prices on cigars felt in line with what you'd expect. At the bar, I tried a gin refresher that was reasonably priced and hit the spot. The strange part was watching my friend ask for a simple tweak to his drink: he wanted extra cherries and was even willing to pay for them. Staff flat-out refused, which was odd. He joked about buying the whole jar if that's what it took, but the answer was still no. As a spectator, it was strange to see someone try to spend more money and still get shut down. During the day, the lounge is very comfortable and easygoing. On weekend nights, though, it gets crowded and loud, and finding a seat can be a challenge. Seating could be a challenge if you come with a larger group, and the bar staff could be a little quicker keeping up with orders and checks when it gets busy. I also don't care for the layout... the tables and high tops make it feel more like a restaurant than a cigar lounge. Some comfier chairs and lounge style seating would fit the atmosphere better.

First impression review. It was a "lit" (active, social) vibe last night. ( we had decided at the last min to give this place a look after our Christmas dinner and it did not disappoint!) Thanks to the amazing patrons! I give 4 stars because it is new (opened 2 months ago). However the manager may want to do better at hiring professional bartenders! And a manager that is great at managing fast paced, active environments! The service fell noticeably short (and this place only serves drinks). it was a busy night but not that busy that we kept being overlooked while sitting at the bar??? I don't smoke cigars but their display is nice and I like how it's laid out inside and its outdoor patio. Service fell short and the DJ could use more lessons but the vibe was awesome (great concept, layout and eager guests looking to enjoy the Christmas holiday season!) this place opened about 2 months ago... possibly still working through the "new" unexpected mishaps (I'm guessing). this is a generous review (if the place was established longer and had service like this I'd rate it a 2.5-3). They have onsite catered food or you can order your food in or bring your food with you. Tip: please know niche markets require great service! You should only have happy faces and welcoming service at your bar and food areas so that ppl are invited to look and buy! Made to feel invited to stay and buy some more...see win and win! Ppl are not going to feel comfortable approaching your bar staff that doesn't make eye contact, or the weird older black Caribbean man worker that thought I was just supposed to engage him in conversation... so odd, he kept removing my water, he just stood staring and trying to strike conversation and he literally had just arrived for his shift! To avoid this awkwardness, I kindly just engaged my party and refused to answer his weird questions or acknowledge his aggressiveness... meanwhile he was not a bartender and he had just arrived for his shift. so that made it even more bizarre the way he just stood in such an interjecting way and tried to impose himself on us. It made me uncomfortable because we ordered a bottle of sparkling and he kept cleaning around us and it concerned me how closely he hovered over an open bottle so I let him know that (I moved the wine out of his way) because I wanted to make him aware but he didn't care. It got to the point where my friend and I turned our chair to face away from the bar in order to kindly give the body gesture that we didn't appreciate him bullying his way into a conversation with us! So for this we couldn't keep water with our drinks... so that I'd have to ask for more water, just childish behavior. service was unnecessarily slow and there was only 1 nice professional bartender the young Caucasian woman but she got so overwhelmed quickly at the bar and pretty much worked the area alone because she was the only inviting presence (the black women bar tenders only catered to some of the guys they knew. The young black guy knew my friend and we couldn't even get him to give us timely service just a lot of unnecessary drama, misery and chaos at the bar ... GET PROFESSIONAL STAFF PLEASE!! One welcoming, professional bartender cannot manage alone with standoffish colleagues who then realize she's captivating all the patrons and then once the manager show up they told her they will manage their section but never did... just made us wait... being ugly and nasty on the inside but smiling and walking past their patrons while clearly observing us awaiting their attention and then after getting their attention they will make you wait even longer (rolling my eyes) just stupidly ignorant and childish behaviors that I have observed to be the native way service workers display their rudeness but please stop, it isn't cute and it's so dated like 1990s behavior or that 1960s "sure" tone...that sloppy work ethic played out in the 90s DO BETTER!!! as the night wore on it expectedly wore down the only nice bartender but she still kept going with grace but she felt bad dodging patrons to keep allegiances with her lazy colleagues. There was a (older Caucasian woman at the bar that appeared to be a manager but she wasn't managing these folks well) bar was loaded with like 3 - 4 bartenders...yet I witnessed several patrons from different parties all pulled for this one nice young lady as mentioned earlier... that should tell ya something!!

We stopped by here after a jazz festival. We stopped by to check out Chef D's food. The lounge was nice, indoor and outdoor seating is available. The DJ was on point and the drinks are good. I am not a smoker, however it looks like a great cigar lounge.

The facility was awesome so comfortable with different types of lounges, tables and views. Wish the staff was more interested in customers vs talking with each other. Good selection of both beer and liquors. Very airy design for a cigar lounge. They allow u to bring in outside food, easy parking and nice selection of cigars for ur experience

Seeing as that we're not big wine drinkers, we were very happy with the size of the meals, the size of the menu, and just overall the quality and taste of the food that we got. We also really loved that the server brought out some complementary pretzel bread to start us off, along with some butter, which was delicious. We ended up getting a nice bowl of soup that had some shrimp, lobster, and crab in it. It was a bisque, and it was absolutely delightful. Perfect size for just a cup, or if you want to get a nice bowl, that could be probably a meal for you or for someone else. The entrees were delicious, and for dessert we got this baked cookie or brownie sort of thing with ice cream on top. It was like this Reese's peanut butter cup sundae, and it was absolutely to die for. It was one of those meals that you come in hungry and you leave stuffed, and at the end of the meal you figure, "Okay, I'm done eating," but as soon as the server asks, "Would you like some dessert?" even though your stomach's pounding, you say yes. You have to say yes because it's so delightful. Definitely go back to Cooper's Hawk. Had an awesome time. We'll be back soon.

Reservations can be made via OpenTable, and I saw this suggested on Yelp so I decided to try one evening. Upon arriving, I marveled at the beauty of the interior design of the bottom floor that also serves as a gallery. I ascended the staircase as the restaurant is on the third floor. I dined alone as this trip I didn't have a coworker with me, but I still was seated in a cozy corner to take it all in. Isaac, my waiter, was incredibly friendly, and ensured I had everything I needed. What I Ordered: - Caesar Salad: This salad is as pretty good, but at a price point of $19, I would likely skip if dining here again. Though, it did have the perfect hint of lemon for acidity and the croutons tasted house-made. Perhaps if you added a protein, this could become your main dish and elevate it. - Lobster Roll: $36 for a lobster roll?! I was intrigued as this was noted as a signature dish and a standout for what this location is known for... and boy was I IMPRESSED! The roll was perfectly toasted, and the lobster to roll ratio was absolute perfection. The flavor of the lobster was juicy and tasted fresh. This roll was so good that even the neighboring table as they left asked how I enjoyed it. They were recognized by staff, so I believe they are regulars. We all discussed how delicious it was and I shared my thoughts on the execution of lobster to bread ratio. I dined here a couple weeks ago, and I'm still thinking about where in Arizona I'll ever find a roll as decadent. - Cappuccino: a mark of a truly well-crafted cappuccino is the sugar test. Will the foam withstand the weight of sugar or will it sink to the bottom (poorly frothed)? I had ordered and didn't realize they would put a design on top! Visually stunning, and happy to report they make a beautiful cappuccino with delightful foam. Added pictures to showcase the design they added, and the sugar test. The rooftop has stunning views, and the food is a work of art as well. Though I had a lighter dinner with a salad + lobster roll, I was impressed with the meal and would return to try more of the menu if I visit for business or personal reasons in the future. This area has lots of restaurants, but this one definitely leaves an impression and draws this foodie back in to return. Check it out if you are in the area!

Service was attentive and gracious. I started with a rose spritz, the avocado carpaccio, and the half roast chicken. The spritz was a delight. Not too sweet, very refreshing. The carpaccio was amazing with the smoked salt, and the briny caviar. My friend ordered the chips and dip, and heaven on earth is combining the two appetizers (a chip topped with avocado and then a dollop of creme fraiche/caviar). The chicken was okay. I should have gone with something else, but I panic-ordered. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't remarkable. I should have gone with a fancy salad or the lobster roll. My second drink, a glass of rose, was okay but wasn't served ice cold, a disappointment. I shared a chocolate chip cookie at the end of the meal, and it was absolutely delicious. I'd happily return with that crew of ladies, and I'd happily recommend this place for a date night.

My Experience at Aromas Cigar, Wine & Martini Bar -- StogieFest 2026…read moreI attended StogieFest 2026 at Aromas Cigar, Wine & Martini Bar in Jacksonville for the very first time, looking forward to enjoying a relaxing evening with great cigars, drinks, and conversation. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a pleasant event turned into a truly frightening experience. While sitting at a table with three ladies, an unidentified man -- who I later learned is believed to be one of the owners or managers -- suddenly and aggressively flipped the open chair next to me, shoving the table hard enough to almost tip it over. Our drinks and handbags nearly went flying. Everyone at our table was visibly startled and shaken. Instinctively, I stood and asked, "Hey, why did you do that? Who is this guy?" Instead of responding, he became even more aggressive and began moving toward me as if he intended to attack. It took three security personnel to physically restrain him, and even they struggled to hold him back. Once he was finally removed from the area, two managers and a waitress approached our table, genuinely apologetic. They offered to pay for our drinks, urged us to stay, and assured me the situation would be handled. Several nearby patrons also expressed their concern and asked if we were okay -- everyone appeared disturbed by what they had just witnessed. I stepped outside to calm down before returning to my table, hoping to salvage what was left of the night. But before long, the same man returned, once again appearing angry and hostile, seemingly looking for me. Security had to step in a second time to remove him. Moments later, security personnel told me I needed to leave -- despite the fact that one of the managers (Torrence) had specifically asked me to stay and reassured me I had nothing to worry about. That manager was suddenly nowhere to be found, and security insisted I go. Another man named Max came over, spoke politely, and apologized, asking me to take his hand and leave for my safety. At that point, I was terrified and deeply shaken. To be absolutely clear: * I have never met or spoken to the aggressive man (whose name, I was told, is Abe) prior to this incident. * I overheard patrons mentioning that he had been drinking all day. * I am not a regular at Aromas -- this was my first visit, simply to attend StogieFest and enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, it turned into a traumatic encounter that left me feeling unsafe, humiliated, and confused. No guest should ever have to experience something like this -- especially at a professional, public event.

As a first timer, I was impressed with the space. Nightlife can be tricky and some spaces just don't have the proper size for your desired night out. There's a bar for mingling but if you're there for dinner , there's that too. If you want more room and tend to have more volume in the conversations you carry, the outdoor space is ideal (especially since my friends and I like to laugh and goof off). That being said , we found ourselves seated in the patio and we loved it. Very comfortable, especially as the weather was cool that evening. Food was surprisingly delicious. Knowing that the restaurant appeal was competing with the nightlife vibe I was getting, I didn't expect there to be quality Mediterranean food. However, I was pleased with the calamari, salmon bites, hummus and brussel sprouts. My friend got steak and enjoyed his food as well. Drinks were great! My coworker remarked several times about how great this chain is and we decided to check it out. Our waiter was Alex, and he was absolutely exceptional! I appreciated all his recommendations and conversation throughout our dinner. We dined in the bar area, which was still very beautiful though a little noisier than what I'd imagine the dining room would be like. Though since near the bar, my dirty vodka martinis were very quick to make it to our table. As for food, the lobster bisque was full of lobster and very rich. Quite honestly, probably the best I've ever had. For my entree, I had the Gorgonzola-Crusted Dry Aged Bone-In NY Strip with Cabernet Reduction, and it was delightful. Absolutely stunning! Paired beautifully with the roasted mushrooms that we got a side to share for the table. To end on a sweet note, we had the crème brûlée and cheesecake. Both were decadent and delicious. A truly remarkable meal, and now I have to plan a date night with my boyfriend to a location in Arizona. Well done Alex and The Capital Grille!
