A man walking by with a walkie talkie greeted me and asked if I was doing ok. I didn't know what else to do so I showed him a picture of what I was looking for. He immediately said "oh..the (name of nice Champaign)". He grabbed an employee and told that employee where it was. The nice stuff is behind locked glass up front. Super awesome. Just knew. Customer service was great. Everything was great. Very very friendly. Solid 5 stars for me. I'll be back if I'm in need of some nice bubbly.

There was an older man sampling as I walked in. I approached to see what he had and he was on his phone. He stood up and waved me away, continuing his conversation, and backing away from the table to lean against a display. I went back to the tasting counter and no one was there. I asked an associate if they no longer did tastings and she told me there was someone between aisle 6-7 that would help me. No one was there. The tasting counter was set up as if they were sampling and it was between 5:30 and 6 PM. I asked the lady checking me out if they no longer did tastings and she rudely told me there was someone right when I walked in the door. I explained what happened and her response was that he is there now. That doesn't do me any good when I am standing at the register checking out. I just wanted some help selecting some decent wine. I was prepared to buy a case and walked out with just three bottles. Going forward I will not be going to Total Wine. I get better assistance at grocery outlet.

Y'all's sign says "Open Daily from 9:00am-8:00pm", well not at 9:06 this morning! I have been here at just minutes earlier than 9:06 and they had just opened but there was no one there.. They also have other stuff like candy and smokes, which puts them right at the top of the list of liquor stores in Packwood as far as I'm concerned. In addition to their sterling recommendations, they're incredibly personable/approachable. I've also learned a great deal thanks to their vast knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine, as well as the industry. The inventory strikes an ideal balance between quality and value. They've got it all...and if it's something off the wall they somehow don't have...they'll go get it! By far the best place for libations I've experienced in the South Puget Sound, and it's not close. I asked him why the sales tax was so high and he looked at me and said "because that's why I have it set at." I said no thanks and left. Clearly he's grifting 10% in tax off the top and I'm sure this is illegal. I was overcharged here once before over a year ago and now I can guess why.

The prices are rather over charged. I personally prefer total wine more but this was closer there is no ambience whatsoever again. The customer service today was a lot better than it was last time I was here. It's a fun place to walk around sure, why not check it out.
