I had a good time at Cigar Times this past weekend. When I walked in and scanned the humidor wall, I felt a little overwhelmed because I didn't see any of my favorites. That feeling quickly went away after sharing my likes with John and the others at the shop. They recommended a stick comparable to my favs. I enjoyed talking with the guys about cigars and various other topics. The major thing that I absolutely love about smoking cigars are the conversations that I have over a cigar with complete strangers whom we likely would have never spoken words other than "hello" to one another. John is from my home state, that alone will cause me to come back and patronize his shop. But, that isn't the only reason. I felt comfortable relaxing here chatting and people watching on a Saturday afternoon. The shop seats around six people, but there is standing room for a few others. Seating, although limited is very comfortable. The ventilation system is state of the art. There is a large screen television and also music for your enjoyment. It's centrally located around a few downtown luxury hotels and walking distance to the Coca Cola factory and the Georgia aquarium. There are a few casual eating establishments and also upscale dining in the area. read more

Came here to buy a cigar for a male friend and even though Google says they are open, the hours listed on the door says they are open. They are not open- on a FRIDAY afternoon. There were 2 men who walked up looking to go inside, to no avail. read more

I wish I was able to try this place, but the two days I went to enjoy a stick with my buddy, the door was locked. The first day was Sunday. I read reviews about the lack of respect of customers by not being open during the posted hours on the door (one customer waited over an hour) so I decided to call on Saturday to make sure my buddy and I would have a place to go have a smoke on Sunday. The owner answered the phone quickly. I asked if he would be open tomorrow and he said very proudly, "I am open 7 days a week." I told him I was in town with a friend and wanted to call and make sure he would be open. I asked about his hours and when he would be opening up. He started saying 11:00, thought about it for a second, then said, "realistically, probably closer to 11:30 tomorrow." Very satisfied with he response, I picked up my friend and off we went to enjoy a stick. We arrived just before noon. The door was locked and no one was in sight! WFT? We waited like dummies for about an hour, hoping he would show up so we could meet him and have great conversations like others have written about. Nope. No luck. I called the number, no answer. After we left, I waited another hour or so and called the cigar times again. Still no answer. My friend wasn't able to hang out with me the following day, Monday, but I decided to go back around 1:00PM to see if they were open. I really wanted to try this place and although it is so tiny inside, I wanted to be able to leave a better review. Sadly, door was locked and no one was inside. Needed some backwoods and were slightly desperately in need to smoke some devils lettuce rejoice !! No immediate welcome felt a cold stare upon entering after 10 seconds we were asked if we needed help . Got what we were searching for interesting enough they weren't in a humidifier but they were not stale. Had a couple flavors to offer in backwoods but still missing a few. Price was more then usual maybe 2/3 bucks more then what I'd normally spend but in a desperate position it was a no Brainer. However I probably wouldn't shop again unless in a bind read more

Probably one of the most disappointing experiences and post I will ever write. After reading the reviews I decided to try them out in hopes of purchasing a box of Montecristo White Series. I walked in and looked around for a few minutes. The only person that spoke was a customer. The gentleman behind the counter looked at me twice and didn't offer any help. I gladly walked out!! Disappointed cannot begin to describe my experience. I won't be coming back or recommending this establishment to anyone. Guess this Cigar shop is not for individuals that look like me. read more

If you look up "Good things come in small packages" you'll find Cigar Times. Small, intimate, location about a block from College Football HOF as well as several restaurants. A very nicely selected choice of cigars and the owner John is both knowledgeable and congenial. Although it only seats 6-7 people it's a nice spot and worth a visit. read more

Conveniently located a 3 min walk from CNN Center.... in the motor court of the Hilton Garden Inn!! I went there every nite I was there, and he stayed open till well after 10 PM on the night of a Falcons game!!! read more

Walked a little over a mile from Homewood Suites on 10th. Meandered through GaTech campus, saw Yellow Jackets stadium and traversed Centennial Park to find this jewel.
