Cigar Time - Bought these two today. ROMA CRAFT, CROMAGNON and AVO cigar. Great smokes! - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Cerritos, California

This is a truly a great find! Was in LA for meetings and had a 2-hour window, found Cigar Time through Yelp. From the outside, Cigar Time is very unassuming, but once I walk into the lounge, I realized this is a true man's cave and a cigar lover's heaven! With wall to wall humidors of cigars, the memorabilia in the lounge, the wide dark leather sofa, Larry and other old timer greeting you like an old friend with their wise cracks. I enjoyed every moment of smoking a Davidoff Aniversario No. 3 at Cigar Time and will make this as a must stop in my future LA visit. read more

Great blue collar cigar lounge. Larry the owner comes off rough but take it as it is. Some people are like that. But Larry is a cool dude. He knows his shit. Next time I'm in town for work I would come here again. I would recommend you go stop by if you want to puff on a puro. read more

Pretty sweet spot, cool old school nostalgia covers the walls and lots of comfy seating with big screens to enjoy the games. Wide variety of cigars. Side note: they did not have the cigar I was looking for (Padron 7000) but the Owner made a special effort to look in the back and happend to have what I was looking for, needless to say great customer service and very welcoming. Would highly recommend to my friends and will be returning. read more

First off Larry is awesome, he is always there with the best advice and I love that he opens bright and early. The cigars are always great tasting and his selection is way larger than other lounges my husband and I have visited. love the atmosphere of the lounge as it seems like home, we visit other places but nothing is like Cigar Time. Best. Cigar. Shop. Big selection. Great prices. Hard to find Davidoff cigars too. Big Larry is very knowledgeable. The regular crew of customers are a good group of folks. No weed pipes or hookahs. Just cigars. read more

Nice spot . Big comfortable, friendly spot . The only draw back was look of the humidor was out of stock . But worth the stop

Larry is the best. Need a suggestion for a new smoke... he'll suggest something great. The selection is wide here. They have almost any smoke you'd want. Prices are great and better with cash. This is the best cigar shop I've been to. Easy access from the freeway. The shop is very unique and includes some antiques for purchase as well. I highly recommend Cigar Time... price and selection they are the best! read more

Showed up a bit earlier than opening but Larry was so kind as to help me out. Super helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me make some good selections. This is not your typical smoke shop for young punks and whipper-snappers. It's a bit lived in but that's a good thing. This has a manly vibe like your grandfather's den. If your grandfather was Ernest Hemingway. If you know what that means then you'll probably like it. read more

awesome shop. Hidden, like a smokey speak easy, awesome service. The guy that helped me made some great recomendations, good prices and great cigars read more

My first time in here and Overall Bad service plus the place looks run down. Probably have dry cigars that's why. Save your time and money. Don't go here read more

I was very disappointed with the way that I was treated when I attempted to patronize this establishment! Being a local, I was excited to find that there was cigar lounge nearby. The service person was very curt with me and a bit condescending in his responses to my questions. I left here feeling very dejected and disappointed! Not a fan of Cigar Time at all! Too bad - so sad - I'm out!!! read more

It was my first time coming here today. I'm fairly new to cigar smoking. So when I came here I didn't really quite know what I was looking for. This shop is big and looks fully stocked. When I walked into the doors, there was a group of guys smoking, joking around, watching a ball game, and talking about the Lakers. I think they knew I was a newbie cause they were staring at me lol. Larry got out of his seat and gave me some recommendations then proceeded to give me a little lesson on cigars. He showed me around the shop going over some of the cigars he had on hand and we talked about the Lakers. Larry is a good dude. He's patient, informative, and inviting. The shop has an excellent amount of cigars and has an old school feel to it. Larry invited me back to hang out when the Lakers start the season. I'm definitely going to take him up on it. I found my new go to cigar shop. read more

Overall: Great shop with a good selection, price, and customer service. If you are of a younger demographic may not be the best place to enjoy a cigar. Parking: Parking is found on the side of the store, since there is no street parking. Store Décor: As soon as you walk in I got the impression that the décor hasn't been updated since the Carter Administration. Lots of antique cigar paraphernalia that was probably new when it was first put up. Against the walls are all glass cabinets humidors with the cigars for sale. Towards the back a big flat screen and couches to relax and have a smoke. Ambiance: If you are 30 and under I don't think this will be your hang out spot. It is more like a place that your Dad would hang out to talk about sports and politics. Cigar Selection: Great Selection and were reasonably priced. No complaints. Customer Service: Great, the owner gave me some recommendations. I smoked a Jaime Garcia that I bought at the store. It was spot on as far as the flavor profile I wanted. They know cigars. read more

Larry K. is the man! No frills, good prices, wide selection. Walked in looking for a stick and left with a bag full. Just let him know what you're looking for and he'll find it for you, maybe make a few recommendations within your price point too. It's a lounge, but no membership or fees. Just sit and enjoy. This place is a hidden local gem that has been around for over 20 years. I will definitely be back! read more

Larry is great. What a friendly, helpful and fun comrade in smoke. Cigar Time is the best cigar shop/experience I have ever had. I am in Anaheim for a Saturday class and will definitely hit Cigar Time on the way back to LA. Wish he was located closer, but that's kind of part of the fun. read more

I actually CREATED a yelp account just to review this place. If I could give this place minus stars I would. I have never been treated more rudely or with less respect than in this place. We walked in, asked politely for a cigar, and the guy's response was to glare at us and say "Do I know you?" in a very nasty tone of voice. I was confused. Did we mistakenly walk into someone's house? I looked around some more, but no, I saw price tags on things in the store. Definitely a store. Well, excuse me sir. We're customers in your store. Are you supposed to know every single person who goes into your store? I understand if this is your HOUSE then okay. But no. This is a freaking store. Apparently he was pissed that we asked for that specific cigar cause they're rare. Umm.. ok. What's wrong with going into a specialty store and asking for a specific item? He said that he doesn't like to sell those cigars to people he doesn't know because they never come back. I WONDER WHY?! Is it because maybe you are a complete and total jerk to anyone you don't recognize who walks in? Of course if you're treated like garbage, then you won't want to go back?! Imagine that. What, people have to pass tests before you'll sell anything to them? Why do you even own a store? Ugh. I hope this place goes out of business. Honestly, from the condition of this place and the treatment they give to customers, I have no idea why they're still in business. read more

Awesome Guy! Knows his stuff as well. I am definitely going back for more and maybe this time enjoy a sit down and smoke a cigar there.

Super friendly guy in here...Unfortunately don't know his name, but he helps me find cigars for my hubby...

HUGE cigar selection and even though the owner didnt seem TOO thrilled that I walked in on a saturday just as they were closing (literally got there as they turned off the neons), he was more than accommodating in showing me around the store as well as taking me into the storage room to pick out a particular cigar I wanted. Definitely deserves another stop next time I'm in Cerritos. read more

*Update* Cigar Time has become my home shop. I stop by or at least try to stop by once a week usually towards the end of the week to enjoy a stick and bring in the weekend. Only cigar shop I go to and only cigar shop I recommend. My entire station knows this shop and goes to this shop.

I was trying to find my husband a box of AVO LE 5's last year for Christmas,I called Larry he got me a signed box, my husband was a shocked that I was able to get him this box of cigars. This year I called Larry and asked for some recommendations he told me he had a box of cigars that my husband would love, I asked him how much he gave me a price I went in and picked them up. Again my husband was flabbergasted that I actually got him a signed box of Avo 80's, no one could touch the price that I got these for, Larry is a fair and honest person and I look forward to doing many more purchases for my husband on special occasions. Thank you Larry for making me that special wife that is able to get my husband gifts that he could not get himself. read more

I have been to Cigar Time on several occassions and found that Larry the manager is an expert on cigars, and always willing to help a novice smoker. He takes the time to explain how, where, what type of tobaccos, leaves, etc. are used and can find the right priced smoke for you. I know that he also carries some hard to find cigars. The shop itself is like a museum with lots of old time clocks, special tobacco signage, etc. I highly recommend Cigar Time. read more
