They have cold non alcoholic beverages for sale incase you get thirsty . I enjoy this cigar lounge. I visit somewhat sporadically, but every time I visit, Steve and/or Adonis, have been extremely helpful and accommodating. Selection is excellent and can be pricey, but reasonable prices are available as well. It's a comfortable lounge, with nice leather chairs and many large screen TVs, you can enjoy from any seat. Ventilation is very good. Many of the regulars are friendly and share some great stories, but you can be left alone if you so desire, as well. I visit mostly during the weekdays, since I'm retired, so I can't speak to the environment on weekends or during the evening hours. During the summer, they have a patio as well. This is by far one of my favorite cigar lounges. Straight off the bat, this place looks like a cabin but is a house which I'd awesome. The seating arrangement is big with lots of leather seats, a flat screen for sports, and a huge cigar selection. There are multiple cabinets with great finds such as Padron, Monte Cristo, Olivia, Alec Bradley, Tatuaje, and more! I should also mention that this lounge is clean and refreshing with lots of ventilation. I can see lots of locals coming here for a nice intimate smoke. I'm currently yelping and smoking this Padron 1926 No. 9 Madura stick which is just incredible. It's priced at $38 which is expensive but worth every damn bit. I feel like a king sitting here and enjoying this lovely Saturday. Special thanks to Gary for the hospitality and friendly welcome. I'll always come back for more. read more

Very disappointed with the customer service here, and quality of the otherwise premium (and overpriced product. I left last night with a Padron Serie 1926 Anniversary #6 Natural and while smoking it 18 hours later I am watching the entire $25(!) cigar unravel in my hand. Completely dried out. I had also bought a 10-cigar box of Ashton Senoritas ($20+), and could barely get through one--it was tasteless and mediocre--I've had better Camel unfiltered cigarettes, which is disappointing, given I am a huge fan of the Ashton VSG sticks. I went back this morning to return the remaining 9 for a credit toward another cigar, and they wouldn't do it (different employee). I was amazed; given the fact my previous cigar shop took exchanges/store credit without question, and the fact I spend between $250-$300 a month on my cigars, I thought this was a pretty short-sighted way to retain a new client (this wasn't my first visit to Cigar Loft Walnut Creek). I told him he was losing what should be a valuable client, and he just shrugged. I left the remaining 9 cigars with him, and won't be coming back. You are forewarned--poor storage, overpriced (at least 25% above already pricey Telford's in Mill Valley), and they won't stand behind their product. Decided to check this place out today. Light work day, so I grabbed my laptop and drove over. Really a Great selection of cigars and nice staff. I picked up a couple of sticks, Opus X and Aroma de Cuba, both excellent smokes. Enjoyed the Opus and decided to order some lunch which they were totally cool about, food arrived with no utensils and the gentleman who runs the place saw my plight and came over with some forks. An excellent place, the lounge was full of regulars and everyone was friendly and welcoming. You can only smoke what you buy there which I totally understand, I always support the humidor and buy sticks from the shop but I was actually looking to smoke something I have been wanting to try but it's not a big deal. This one star is only so I can write a review. It was my first time in Walnut Creek and thought my man and I should get a cigar. Saw this on the map with high hopes, cigar shops are usually very chill and nice, but was VERY disappointed. After we picked out our cigar, we wait at the counter. I decided to stop by today because Cigar Loft is one of the few places in Walnut Creek that carry the GreenSmartLiving E-Cigarette Cartomizers. I've never been here before, but it's the closest place to me that sells GreenSmartLiving products. The parking lot was pretty small, and a lot of the customers were inconsiderate and decided to park across the lines into the other spaces. I was able to find parking on the street for $ .50 per 30 minutes, even though I was in and out in less than five. I walked in and asked the person working there what flavors they have of the cartomizers, and without saying anything, he just handed me the box for me to look through it myself. Great customer service... The selection was very low, but I found two that I wanted so I grabbed those. As the cashier was ringing me up, the total came out to $30.38 for two packages that are advertised at $12.99 each. With sales tax being 8.5% in Walnut Creek, tax should have only been $1.10 for each package with a total of $28.10 for both. This means the cashier charged me tax TWICE for my purchase, and instead of paying 8.5% in tax, I actually paid 17% in tax. I've been buying these products from my regular stores for months now because they are honest when it comes to charging people and don't pull crap like charging tax twice to people like this place has. The usual places I go to also have a wider selection, carrying almost all available options that GreenSmartLiving has to offer. Although this was my first time here, it will certainly be my last because not only is their selection limited and the employees not friendly, but I also don't appreciate taken advantage of. In addition to everything I listed above, the cashier that helped me didn't even bother to check my ID. Even though I've been of legal age to purchase alcohol and tobacco products for a while now, people ALWAYS check my ID when I'm buying alcohol or tobacco because I look a lot younger than I really am. read more

My business has me traveling across the country where I am lucky enough that there are cigar lounges near. I have smoked at every big name and hole in the wall lounge, great ones and ones that should be ashamed. I used to buy my cigars at Cigar Loft's Pleasant Hill shop, the owners Will and Steve were always helpful and most importantly - you could trust they were not going to try and "sell" you to buy whatever they wanted to push that month. I was excited that they were going to open a NO COST to smoke lounge, meaning that there was not going to be a fee to smoke. Across the country with the exception of Gran Havana NY and Bev Hills (which I have been fortunate to smoke at), I find that the successful lounges never charged a COST to smoke. Will and Steve are top notch, customer service is impeccable and the prices are the best in town. Regularly you will find a great group of guys smoking in there that make up what cigar smoking is about, relax, get to know people but its not "where you smoke" but "who you smoke with" You can even try out those normally too expensive cigars such as Reserve Padron, Fuente Anejo and Opus X because their prices are not out of control. They have flat screens, comfortable leather chairs and a great ambiance. I highly recommend that you come and smoke a cigar at Da Loft as they call it. Even ask Will to play you the entire version of the Padron jingle that only the few have. read more

I'll admit it... I am now a cigar junkie. Never thought that would happen. I know the sizes, shapes, type and preparation of tobacco and the various production regions, as well as the brands. Cigar Loft is a great cigar shop in a neighborhood setting. They have a nice walk-in humidor with a good selection of cigars at reasonable prices. The lounge and seating areas are first rate, pretty comfy. Cigar Loft also has an outdoor back area that is still in the process of being fully completed. That back area overlooks a small parking lot, but it's still a nice spot to sit and relax. As others have mentioned, the owner and his family are really welcoming and friendly. The loft is a tight and smokey establishment that at times can be quite loud and difficult to have conversations it. It's not a great place to just go and relax. The owner is also rude and curt. It is sad that he has made his place so inhospitable except to a certain click of people. If you want a welcoming environment and the enjoyment of conversation with interesting people, I suggest going elsewhere. read more

I came here last Saturday to pick up some cigars. They have a decent selection of cigars and some accessories. The gentleman behind the counter was nice and knowledgeable about his cigars. I'm a bit disappointed as they don't have a great selection of cigars for the location that they are in. However the lounge is nice has tv's on the wall and pretty much it. So not a bad place to go and sit smoke while the traffic dies down before going to your destination. More selection of cigar along with different sizes will probably make the place more a regular destination for me. Cheers read more
