Also, I have seen underage kids in here buying vaping products (like 14-15). This place is a ripe off, and is clearly doing the wrong thing. Stay away!

I don't buy that pre-packaged garbage, although their selection of that is excellent. I'll usually get an ounce or two of Black Cordial and this lasts quite a while. You'll also find a small selection of pipes and pipe accessories. I'm not a big cigar smoker. Don't get me wrong, I like them as much as the next guy, but I'd rather a cozy pipe. But when I do feel the urge for a good stogie, I can make my way into their walk-in humidor and pick a nice blunt from the countless cigars in there. All kinds of them. Like a cancerous little candy shop. This is a small place, not the fanciest shop I have ever seen but fits the mold perfectly of what a smoke shop be. Yelp to the rescue!Being that I was in an unfamiliar land, I immediately clicked on my Yelp app, and was on my way to finding the nearest and best tobacconist. Jim's showed up as being 5 stars and only 2 miles away! In the car I went and arrived shortly in their small but ample parking lot. The place from the outside looks like a dilapidated shack. Inside however, was a different story. Clean, well lit, and full of customers. Cigars, cigarettes, lighters, accessories. Everything from Ginny Stinkers to Romeo y Julieta's! A walk in humidor with a wide array of mild Connecticut leaf wrappers to the rich and bold maduros. Robusots, torpedoes, Churchill's, they have a broad and varied selection. Next time I am in the area, I will certainly drop in to replenish my inventory.

I was leaving my friends house over in Sayville and as I was walking towards the LIRR, a really clean looking hightop van caught my eye in a parking lot across the street (#vanlife). As I crossed the street, I noticed J & J Spirt Shop and walked in out of curiosity. And again, just for curiosity's sake of course... I asked if they carried 1792 Whiskey. Ok to be honest, I actually asked if they carried "1702" Whiskey but they kindly and politely corrected me (I was exhausted so let's call it a brainfart) and quickly presented me with a bottle. I knew I was running low on the bottle I have at home (it lasted me quite a while folks!) and since the price was quite right, I decided to buy one. I was tempted to buy two because again, at 34.99, it felt like a deal. I've actually purchased the same exact 750ml bottle for $40 pre-tax at other stores. There is also a really cool looking cigar shop next door. Had I not been in hurry to catch my train and had one waiting for me at home, I would have certainly stopped in. When I got home, I popped the bottle in the freezer (this probably goes against whiskey code but I like my drinks cold but without ice) and enjoyed it with my cigar. Cigars and Whiskey... yup it's official... I've become my grandpa! Went to FLUID on a referral from a friend to pick up a vaporizer setup that was high quality, easy to use, and didn't leak. I never got the sales representatives name, but she was courteous, FAST (I was in a rush) and only gave me the pertinent information that I needed. She also REFUSED to let me leave the store without setting up and testing the vaporizer - I am very glad she did that because I would have never figured it out. She also had TO DIE FOR stunning Green Eyes! They did not have the "top part" that I really wanted, but they are on the way and I am expecting a call when they arrive. I bought a very high quality glass top piece that is sending out some serious vapor. Of course, I didnt' understand anything about the nicotine content or the flavors etc. She guided me through what nicotine content was equivalent to how many cigarettes I smoked per day. She also told me that she was setting up the battery/vaprozer thingy the way it should be to vape properly and to taste as good as it could get. Instead of telling me to buy a bunch of replacement things - she told me to wait because it would be a waste of money if I was eventually going to go with a different top portion. As far as the quitting smoking has gone - I smoked two cigarettes before 9am today - didn't smoke one for 5 hours then took a few drags and it tasted TERRIBLE. It is now nearly 6pm and I have had a total of 2.5 cigarettes all day. I am pretty psyched. The unit I decided on is called an ELEAF Istick 30w - and the top portion is called Kangertech AeroTank2. I am SUPER HAPPY with this product. My service was top of the heap - full bar - best I could have expected. To be honest, I was expecting a bunch of hippies with a take it or leave it attitude. I received some very knowledgeable staff members that are obviously excited and well informed about what they are selling. Now it's time to get some different flavors and really have fun! Check out this FLUID Store for great service and for a great product from people with SERIOUS product knowledge.
