We went away with a golden dragonfruit, (which piqued the interest of my five year old), a package of bourbon creams, (which piqued the interest of my Scottish husband who cant't find them in the places we usually shop), a bulk package of lentils, some indian packaged snacks, and some jacob's cream crackers. We left without any british chocolate much to my husband's dismay, but next time we shop there I will arrive with a list prepared for items needed for asian dishes I'd like to make, and we can grab a chocolate bar then! Checkout was easy, and it was a busy saturday but no long waits. Next time we go we will also plan to grab our lunch too--the food court looked stellar.

Growing up in a community where there were Filipino grocery stores left and right, I was a little lonely without one when I moved to Williamsburg. Well the lonely void has been filled! I stopped in on their opening day and have seen them make large strides from then to now! They listen to the community and respond with their whole heart! You can find many of our favorite Philippine staples there and don't need to drive to Newport News or Richmond to buy those necessities. They have them!! As well as a fish cutting counter (hence the strong seafood smell) selling a variety of fish. On the opposite end there's a restaurant inside for take out orders, and a home goods shop with various kitchen knickknacks. They provided information on what they carry and even informed me that they would be receiving another delivery soon if I would like to come back.
