As a former General Manager, Operating Partner, President, and CEO with over 50 years in the food service industry, I can honestly say I've never encountered such a catastrophic systemic failure of leadership, health, and safety protocols as I did at this CiCi's Pizza location in Wichita Falls. This wasn't just a "bad shift" -- it was a blatant disregard for basic standards that put customers at risk and turned what should have been a simple pickup into a nightmare. If you're considering eating here, turn around now. This place is a health hazard waiting to explode. On Sunday, January 11th, around 4:19 pm, I was to pickup an online order totaling $49.46. I arrived a bit late but still within reason, only to find utter chaos. I walked in and was greeted by an employee who was going back into the food prep area. I stood there for about 8 to10 minutes until I walked around to were all the pizzas were. still, no one acknowledged me. I yelled out, "Hello!" to get their attention and then proceeded to inquire about my order. The young lady seemed dismayed once I clarified my order. She informed me they had only made one pizza. apparently, the tape that the order was written on had run out. She informed me the rest of my order was going to be made now. I let her know that I did not want the old pizza that was just placed on the ledge. I asked her if she would be so kind as to make my whole order fresh please. I proceeded to go sit down. As I was seated I observed how dirty the restaurant was. It was quite dirty, with tables left uncleaned throughout the establishment. All the employees appeared to be just having a casual conversation instead of cleaning. By this time it was about 5:20 pm. I walked up to the counter and i was just watching how disorganized this shift was being run. There was no sense of urgency. It appeared as if these employees came to work to hang out. I finally asked for my money back. I did not want my order. I didn't see my order yet. I did not see any of the salads being made yet. Apparently, the shift manager. Lu-Lu, was in an dismissive mood. I have never experienced a manager wave her hand in the air and tell a customer, "you can leave now, bye! Have a nice day!" This disrespectful behavior was shocking and unprofessional. She was just dismissing me as if I were some child! Managers should diffuse situations rather than escalate them. This experience has left a negative impression, and I hope it serves as constructive feedback for improving service and customer relations. read more

This place deserves way better than a 2 star rating. I think the kitchen itself could be a bit bigger to better accommodate the dining room's needs, but the quality of the food and activeness of the staff tells me this place is running with as much efficiency as possible. Great food and amazing service! I went back thinking they had put the wrong sauce on my 'Zesty' pizza, but I made a mistake when ordering thinking it was just a zesty pepperoni. I wasn't paying close attention to their menu. After talking to them they indirectly helped me realise that I made a mistake but their manager was extremely polite and professional about taking care of me. She even upsized the pizza made to replace mine and said it was on them when I offered to pay for my mistake. First of all the food here never fails to amaze me and my fiancé. Also the staff remembers my fiancés proffered pizza as soon as we walk in! The food was made really we'll. The crew tonight did well in having a fresh variety out while keeping up with dinner rush. A nice worker was stopping by periodically to gather extra plates and kept the floor pretty tidy (even moving all the chairs to get spilt parmesan. Small detail, but noticed). Usually we go to Cicis for a quick dinner where everyone cant get what they like. The buffet was empty. The tables were not clean. I had to ask the busboy to stop talking to a girl and come clean the table. It is like the crew doesnt know what they are doing. Several customers were just standing at the bar waiting for a pizza, ANY pizza to show up. On top of lousy service and the pizza not tasting like it should or being made like it should be, every screaming child in Wichita Falls was there. We asked for the miltary discount. Employee said they offer it but he doesnt agree with it and that he wasnt going to do it. He walked away from the register and did not take our order. For some reason my kids beg me to go here but it's has to be because they don't understand what a good business is. My kids like the pasta so ok we go anyway. We went last weekend, it was almost 11:30 there was no pasta out and only a few pizzas. I asked the employee how long it would be before the pasta was ready and he told me he's only one person and he'll get it out as soon as he can. This is 30 minutes after they opened and I felt like he got short with me. If you're open for business, you should be ready for customers. If I ask how long it will be all I need is a time not a smart comment. You failed me ciris. And clean your filthy restrooms if you get a chance but I know you're only one person. My wife and I have gone to this location for the last time as of last night. If I could give zero stars then I would. The food was the worst that it has ever been. The salad was shriveled, and toppings mixed together. The entire salad bar looked very unappealing. I would not eat anything from it in fear of getting sick. The pizza was not much better lukewarm at best. The mozzarella pizza was like eating shoe leather. The rest of the pizza was old and dried out. The brownies were not fully cooked. Just one thing after another. The health inspector needs to sit in there as a customer and watch what goes on because I am sure he would site them or even close it down until the place was brought to code.Save your money and buy a pizza at the grocery store and cook it at home. read more

We have been to this buffet several times hoping it would get better. It hasn't. The buffet is usually pretty empty and what was on it tonight when my husband and I went was one flatbread chicken pizza three types of pepperoni whole cheese pizza and something with peppers on it also only a few pieces. The placards on top of the buffet saying what type of pizza there was supposed to be didn't even come close. I had to ask for a few pieces of sausage pizza and my husband had to order his ham pizza. And then we bother got FULL pizzas not a few pieces. They never have a full buffet and now if you want something edible you have to order it they give you a buzzer and when it goes off you go pick up a whole pizza. Isn't the idea of a buffet to be able to try different types. Most of what they usually have on the buffet not many people want to eat. And to not have a simple sausage pizza or sausage and pepperoni is ridiculous. This was the worst experience I have every had dealing with a restaurant, First of all my daughter made reservations 2 months ago for 2:30pm to 4:30pm today March 27,2010. We thought this would be good and cheap for everyone to buy their own lunches, have some fun and go. Well this is not what happened. She got there early at 2pm because everyone was going to start showing up at 2:30pm they told her they didn't know about the reservation. The next thing was as the people are showing up the Manager I guess, shut down the register saying that they were over capacity she told this to the cashier when half the place was empty. My husband and I had been standing in line for 10 minutes waiting when I asked the cashier what seems to be the problem? She stated she would have to get the manager. I explained we all have been standing there for awhile and we had a baby shower going on in the back we just wanted to get drinks; she stated they couldn't serve anybody because they were over capacity and that we would have to wait and all of this in a rude tone. I told her I didn't understand that we had these reservations and why couldn't we just get din ks. She just started walking away so I said I want your District Managers phone number and his name, she just was walking around the bar area ignoring me. Then I said again in a louder voice I want the district managers' name and phone number. She stated that we handle our own stuff, so I said, then I said I guess you're not going to give it to me then, and I started walking away very anger about the whole situation. So we have a Manager with a bad attitude and rude, no food, no drinks, no reservation. We waited 45 minutes till we were able to get drinks (3:15pm) and as for food no thank you. We had about 15 to 20 people there so I can say, this was the worst I ever seen a manager do and a restaurant perform. I can honestly say I will never be back. Oh and all those people there for the baby shower well I bet most of them don't go back either. I can say, this is very poor business. As for the capacity thing, if they have that many tables and chairs empty and they were at capacity, then you should take some of the tables and chairs out, then that would let you have more room to walk. Oh and they were very understaffed and couldn't keep up. So this restaurant get a F for a grade. read more
