It's a pizza buffet chain, so there's not much to say about it. For $5.99 and the cost of a drink, you can sit and eat multiple slices of pizza, servings of salad, soup, pasta, and desserts. I've been to a few Cici's and they're all the same: a bunch of soccer moms with their kids clamoring around, folks bumping into each other, nasty staff... Memories made me die a little on the inside when my mother said she wanted to go. I didn't, but it was her day to choose lunch, so Cici's it was. But this Cici's was completely different! The staff was caring and professional. Took our plates when they were empty, engaged in conversation, and juggled the atmosphere of the entire restaurant which was extremely chaotic. There wasn't an empty seat! Mom ordered a thin crust sausage and bacon and she could not stop exclaiming how good it was. It obviously wasn't the best pizza in the world, but it was leagues better than what we had come to know as Cici's standard of quality. It was amazing! My favorite things were the salad bar and soup. I walked in with my two sons waited at the front register and was ignored by multiple employees. One employee looked at me, then turned away. Another did not make eye contact. Wonderful memories of bringing my kids here when they opened and they were little. Price is descent the food in my opinion excellent. Some experiences like my latest is that the food was warm, tasteful and staff was very friendly. But I have also had experiences of the exact opposite. On a scale of the 1 being the worst restaurant in town, and 10 being halfway decent; I would give this establishment a 2. Driving for Uber eats, the order is sent to the restaurant and not even sent to me to accept until the food is allegedly ready. Then I walk in , grab the food and leave. Sounds simple right? Not for these Cici's pizza employees. When you first walk in you're typically greeted by a cashier that looks like they're coming fresh out of a lobotomy. They seem almost puzzled whenever I inform them that I'm here for Uber eats to pick up so & so's food. Then after they rub they're final functioning brain cells together like they're using sticks to start a fire, they walk to the back over all the trash and food in the floor (like it's supposed to be there) to inform the cook to begin cooking the pizza. As if that's not the only thing this place does just about. Very frustrating to be doing a side job for extra money and no matter how hard you attempt to go to maximize time and money, your outcome is placed in the hands of people who should be wearing helmets anytime they leave the house. Lately it has become hit or miss with the pizza selections. Sometimes you can come in and they are rotating pizzas on a regular basis so your getting a selection, hot, and fresh. My girlfriend and I ate at CiCi's Pizza on March 3 ,2022 and we both had the same identical meals except mine was different by one item ( Alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce), when I got home I was so sick I couldn't even stand upright I had been vomiting for about seven hours and went to the doctors they gave me meds and shots to stop the vomiting then of course the bathroom was my only friend after that and I had to stay as close as I could to the bathroom, I was tested at the same doctors for Covid I got tested for the flu ,I've had all my shots no Covid no flu so since we were only at that place we hadn't been out of the house for a couple days before so there's only one common denominator and I will never eat at CiCi's Pizza again ! read more

Buffet quality pizza at a low price. Can't complain about the food much considering the price you pay for it. They do a lot of fundraisers with the local schools so it seems I am dragged in here by my 7 year old at least once a month. This is a great cheap place to fill our bellies. The pizza is always hot on the buffet, the salads are cold. The drinks are refillable. The only thing I wish is that they had more seating. This is one of the smallest CiCi's pizzas I have ever been in. Their carryout game is one of the strongest in Jacksonville, they are fast and the pizza is cheap. A small is anywhere from $4-$5, an XL starts in the $7 range. You can't beat the prices. I used to really like CiCi's but not anymore. I liked it because it's one of the only restaurants that daughter will eat the food (Corkscrew pasta & Alfredo Sauce). The last two trips have been way less than desirable. The pizza has been tired looking and the the staff is not as attentive to the products. Specifically, I asked the staff for a fresh pan of pasta because the current pan had what appeared to be burnt pizza residue in the pan. Had it been one piece I would have dealt with it...even though it's contaminated per ServSafe standards. As I scooped more out there were more crunchy black pieces throughout the pan. I asked one of the staff members if they had another pan available and he said he would get one...as if one were pre-made in the back. Keep in mind that no one asked what was wrong with the current pan or bothered to look at it. So I waited about 10 minutes and I saw no pasta so I asked again because we're on a schedule. A tall woman said it would be about 5 more minutes. 5 minutes later I watched the African American gentleman pour a new batch of pasta on top of the already contaminated batch of pasta. I again said excuse me and he pointed to the y'all woman as if she was in charge. I said don't know if you knew why I asked for a fresh pan of pasta...she cut me off and said it takes a while in the oven. I said that's not what I was talking about the other pan had crusty burnt pizza residue all throughout it that's why I asked for a new pan, not to be difficult. However, your cook just poured the fresh pasta in with the contaminated pasta. She proceeds to give me an excuse (all while not looking at me) about its from their pan lids and it's not pizza residue. Ok, then that means your pans aren't clean and from a customer stand point I have no way of knowing what it is. She then walked off. Rude and typical but whatever we won't be back. read more

My wife and I went there twice, (we always give a place a second chance.) The pizza is bland and only luke warm. The pasta had been on the line so long is was glued together. When my kids are begging to go out to eat, this is where we'll go. It's cheap and we haven't been disappointed. If there is something you want that you don't see, just let them know and they'll get it out there for you.
