I like that you can use the drive-thru ATM without any around-the-building or strange curves that can potentially ruin the left side of your car. I don't recall ever having any issues at the ATM. It's always functional when I have needed to use it. The only downside is that once you are done with the drive-thru ATM, you have to head out on the road. If you want to shop at the other stores within the strip mall, you need to cycle back. With the bank located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. (15)

The main branch doors are on the south side of the building. I didn't go in, but the branch looks nice from afar. I tried out the drive-thru instead. I have figured out why I like drive-thrus. My dad never liked going through them because he is soft-spoken and folks on the other end of the speaker couldn't hear him. I find it fun, as if I'm making up for lost time. The drive-thru ATM is on the west side of the building. I didn't realize that there was a drive-thru because you cannot see it from Markham Road. Ah, it all makes sense now. I had no problems entering and checking out the ATM. I don't bank as often as I used to at Royal Bank, but I still do now and again. There is plenty of parking in front of the branch. On…read moreSaturday, I needed to deposit some money in my chequing account and decided to pay this location a visit. This CIBC is located across from Menchies, which I have frequented once. I got a prime parking spot and made my way inside the branch. I held the door for an older gentleman. He thanked me and we had a brief conversation. I liked it, as it makes you feel like it's a small neighbourhood of folks looking out for one another. This branch has four ATMs. I was impressed! No waiting at all. Both the gentleman and I did our banking there, along with an existing customer pressing away at the screen. This branch is huge and inviting! It makes me want to call this branch my home one. (212)

I can see how the manager and the staffs feel so excited and proud of this sparkling new location! Lines are never too long... but I usually just prefer using the Instant Teller. The staffs here are always helpful and some of them have been working here for a long long time! Though not open on Sundays, for Sunday banking go visit the branch at McCowan and Bullock!

Full counter services are available by queuing up between the railings; I always disliked being treated like an animal but it keeps others from jumping in front of me...so I'll get over it. I've been a life-long TD Bank client even before it merged with Canada Trust; Branch hours and access to Green Machines being at the top of my list! Dylan sits at a desk helping customers in person or on the phone and if there is a line-up to see a teller and you're lucky you will be invited to sit down at his desk and he will assist you. Banks have a reputation of putting their interests first but Dylan puts the customer first. I needed to make a cash withdrawal and through this Dylan noticed we had a significant amount in our savings account at a low interest rate. He let me know that there was a promotion where we could earn 5% and set me up and explained that it was time limited but to see him when it expired. From then on I have referred to him as my "Personal Banker" and he has helped us out many other times. Dylan's strong customer service orientation builds loyalty and we would highly recommend the Hillcrest BMO branch.

After I had picked up some takeout for dinner, I came over to this drive-thru to use the ATM. This branch used to be across the street, on the northwest corner of the intersection, next to CIBC. I always found it interesting seeing two banks next to each other with drive-thrus. They have finally been separated. I liked the lane as you approached the ATM. It was roomy and nicely designed. There was a car in front of me. When I got to use the ATM, the experience was great. I made a cash deposit. The machine scanned my bill correctly. I had a great experience here. I don't bank often with RBC. When I do and am in the area, I'd return to use the ATM again. (64)

Rude, unhelpful and under-qualified…read more Aesthetically this is a nice branch. My family financial adviser has been working here for many years so we frequent this branch. I needed to do some investment redemptions for brother hence the visit. For context, I've worked in retail banking as a teller and advisor for many years so I have a much more critical eye. I've worked for TD Canada Trust and we've adhered to a high standard of service delivered to our clients. Anyways, the advisor that saw us (I'll keep his name confidential... since everyone needs to work) was not warm, not welcoming and had us sit in silence as he rebooted his computer. It was very awkward. Then he proceeded to tell his that he didn't get his lunch because of back to back appointments... We needed to redeem a GIC - basically child's play but he didn't know where to find the transactional breakdown of the investment and had to cal customer service. My brother tried to explain to him how to find it because he was here a week ago and the advisor kept talking over him, it was just rude at this point. I also asked him about some fee reversals that were valid and he bluntly said that they don't do that. When I said that I worked for TD and it can be done under these circumstances he said "this isn't TD". After a lot of back and forth he went to get his manager to complete our transaction and came back to say that the manager isn't in and we should go to another branch. I was livid, we just wasted 1.5 hours here with this rude and confused man. I asked for an appointment with the manager for the next day and he refused. Saying that he couldn't do that... again another request that was possible. Needless to say we left unsatisfied, unfulfilled and disrespected. I've never received such bad service from a financial advisor.

After switching jobs to a nearby location I recently switched my banking to this location as well…read more They have very friendly staffs and they were very helpful with a few concerns I have with my account. They make it a point to keep this location as clean as possible, even after a snowstorm their floors are still sparkling clean. There's a Coffee Time next door that has a lot of customers and the parking lot can get busy during lunch. Good thing they have a drive thru banking so you can do banking on the run. It's also very conveniently located near two major Highways so that's a big bonus.
