A fantastic find : it's a tiny tiny place that you would never think of entering if you hadn't heard great stuff about it. I heard from italian friends that it's the real deal...And well, no doubt when you enter: you're in Italy ! Everybody speaks Italian, the guests go greet the cook at the end to say thank you. It all seems very typical.
They don't take bookings , so you might have to wait or to eat at the small counter.
The Pizza selection is great, though! 3 types : basics, deep fried or more elaborated ones.
Apparently the deep fried ones are a real thing, not a stupid tourist invention... it's a thing from the region of Milano... So basically a calzone that is then deep fried... and to our surprise is not greesy at all!
We were 6 and everybody had a different pizza : everyone was blown away and super enthousiastic. I had the Buffalona and was the less enthouiast of all (probably because it's such a basic pizza).
Anyways, super great experience as they are very nice and flexible and it's great food! read more
