Unfortunately, my experience today, August 9, 2026, with the front desk associate, whom I believe is named Kim, was extremely disappointing. This is not my first interaction with her, and I have consistently found her demeanor, communication style, and overall approach to customer service to be noticeably less welcoming and professional than the other team members I have encountered at this location. During today's visit, I inquired about the five-day touch-up policy. I was told that I could not receive a touch-up and that doing so would be considered an "abuse" of the policy. I found both the statement and the manner in which it was delivered inappropriate and unnecessarily accusatory. If a five-day touch-up is an established company policy, a customer attempting to utilize that policy should not be characterized as abusing it. If there are limitations or additional conditions associated with the policy, those should be communicated clearly and respectfully. Having worked in customer service for more than 15 years, I understand that policies sometimes require explanation or clarification. However, how that information is communicated matters tremendously. Customers should feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable asking questions not as though they are doing something wrong for inquiring about a service or policy available to them. I want to emphasize that this feedback is not a reflection of the entire location. Yemi and Abigail have both provided exceptional service, and their professionalism is a large part of why I have continued returning. However, today's interaction was disappointing enough that I am now considering taking my business elsewhere. I am sharing this feedback because I believe management should be aware of the experience being created at the front desk. For a business centered around personal care and repeat clientele, professionalism, courtesy, and respectful communication should be consistent from the moment a client walks through the door.

I was not told this in advance but the service ended up being complimentary. I was appreciative of the complimentary service and she was learning and it was clear she was new to the experience. However, that information should be made clear on the website so the customer can opt-in or choose a different specialist. The service ended up taking 4x the usually amount so any advanced notice of things like this would be helpful for planning.

The treatment itself was comfortable (with numbing of course) , and the results are definitely noticeable. My skin looks smoother, brighter, and more even, and it has that healthy glow I've been trying to achieve for a while. The epidermal leveling add-on made a huge difference in how well my skin absorbed products afterward. This service is truly worth it, especially in Perla's hands. I was offered a special on a Brazilian (buy one, get one free). Now, the follow-up session went better than I expected. The tech was mindful of the wax's temperature and asked me before starting. I've been burned before at a different shop, so this aspect of the experience made all the difference. The second time I was here I agreed to waxing my underarms for something like $22. She didn't hold my skin tight enough and it hurt more than it needed to. My skin was extra raw and still not smooth, no oil afterwards. I carry a roll on coconut oil so that helped me out. While I'm accustomed to waxing--creams, powder, strips, sugar, etc.--no aftercare counseling provided. They is a poster on the room's wall I was in that covers a few key points, but it is not enough information. The location is convenient. Note: I asked for sugar, but I'm still not 100% sure if it's 100% that. Whatever they used seems like a quality product though. They Note: If you have curly hair, no preventative care. Be careful treating ingrown hairs if you DIY.
