I came for lunch with a large group, and all the food and drinks were great. I had the veggie burger, which was made of lentils and quite flavorful. I loved the burger and the accompanying fries, and even the side salad was good. Across our table, we must have gotten every dish on the brunch menu, and everyone was extremely happy with their food. The ingredients tasted very fresh, and the chef made some interesting and unexpected flavor combinations. So why only three stars? This place had the most horrendously rude service I've ever experienced in Brussels, and that's a high bar. We were yelled at collectively as a group, because we ended up having three extra people show up. Organizing big group events is hard enough without a server yelling at you, and they seemed very upset to have the extra business of three people. Several of us were yelled at separately, me for being in the server's way while waiting in line to pay, another for asking the status of the coffee she'd been waiting 20 minutes for, and several others for various things that should not have been issues at all. There were a few cases where the servers mixed up the orders or brought out dishes nobody had ordered, and they got mad at our table for that as well. Despite the inexcusable service, I would still consider going back, either by myself or maybe with one other person, in hopes that we would get better treatment. The food was that good. read more

I have been following them on Facebook and Instagram and their food pictures looked so amazing that I needed to try. And it was not a disapponitment. The food is as good as it looks. I went there with two friends for the brunch on Saturday. We tried the oriental and French brunch. Very filling and tasty. The service is also excellent and very friendly. One of my friends being pregant and having some food allergies, they adapted the menu without complaining and for a very good price. I would highly recommend this place and will defenitely go back to try different brunches and check their lunch menu as well. read more

Really beautiful place. It's a pleasure to go there when the sun is out as they have a great outdoor seating area. Everything we ate and drank was delicious. The big downside for me was the staff: very unpleasant and quite rude. I hope they'll improve their staff/train them better in the future as it kinda ruins this lovely place. read more

Awful service! Burnt french toast received with waiter saying that s the way we serve it. Next one was worst uncooked just dry brioche. I asked for a machiato and the answer was not included in the brunch but ok for an exception! Above all we were kicked out from tge table for the next service! No one was waiting to get our table. Chyl is definitely not very chilled in the English sense. This café is one of the most pretentious, over priced place in Brussels. I walked into a near empty café this morning, and I had to wait to be seated, because the sign says so! I waited, and waited, and waited and then just walked up to the counter. The sour faced rude waitress, perfected the art of rudeness and bad service. In the empty restaurant, I had to sit a certain table! I decided on just a coffee cos lattes cost a bloody fortune. It didn't help that I have just returned from an anglophone country where customers matter and service is with a smile. Advice would be for the owner and waiter/waitresses to CHILL and be as organic as the produce they are selling. I won't be back unless I get caught in a storm. Good place for shelter. read more
