We came here for dinner one night and we liked it. The chips were pretty good and i liked the ranch and queso dips. I got the cheese quesadillas and fries. The cheese quesadillas were good and the fries were solid. Our waitress was friendly and doing a good job. The ambiance was interesting and had decorations that stood out like hubcaps on the ceiling in one room. I recommend coming here with friends.

On the plus side-- service was good and my steak burrito was pretty good! I really enjoyed the tres leches cake too since it wasn't too sweet :) but some fresh berries would've improved it. For cons side-- rice was half cooked so I lot of the grains were hard in the middle. You can kind of see it in the pic. Also, The bathroom was pretty dirty which always makes me think about how clean the kitchen is kept. So overall, average experience.

This is your average Tex Mex joint located within the hustle and bustle of international drive. Food is okay, but I prefer the more authentic stuff but once again, this is Tex Mex. Sadly the service was... not that great. Our waitress was not attentive and she would say she would be "right back" and disappear for quite some time. Their queso and the house white sauce (can't remember what it was called) were the stars of the show.

I was so excited to visit Chuy's in Orlando after falling in love with their Miami location (only to have it close less than a year after opening). So naturally, eating here was high on my to-do list while on vacation, and I'm happy to report: it did not disappoint! The food was just as amazing as I remembered: fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Their salsa has the perfect spicy kick, and I am completely addicted to their tomatillo sauce, especially on the enchiladas. Pro tip: you can order items à la carte, which made my second visit even more customized and delicious. Yes, I ate here twice during my trip, because the experience was that good. The atmosphere is bright, quirky, and fun...totally Chuy's. Even for a chain, the service and quality was exceptional. Big kudos for the silent drink and chip refills. I'm genuinely grateful I got to revisit a spot I had such a strong connection to. Here's hoping they bring Chuy's back to Miami (please, Kendall needs you!). Until then, I'll be dreaming about my next trip to Chuy's.

Super fun experience at this Chuy's!! They was mostly due to our awesome service Alexis! He was so fun and personable and knew how to have a good time. We joked with him about a "grande" coke and he brought an entire pitcher for 1 person haha!! He was so great and attentive!! The food was equally as good, I never had a bad experience at Chuys. It's actually the only place I can find HATCH Green Chili sauce! No where else has it and I loveeee getting the enchiladas with the hatch green chili on it! Rice and beans here are always amazing as well. Always a top pick for me to come here when I want good enchiladas and a margarita! Get a frozen one!

Chuy's Tex-Mex is a family favorite! My parents and I come here a couple of times a month, and it never disappoints. We usually go for an early lunch, and we're always seated quickly. The service is consistently great--friendly, attentive, and efficient. One of the highlights is definitely the chips--they're thin, crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. And if they don't automatically bring the white sauce with the salsa, ask for it! It's creamy, tangy, and totally addictive. On this visit, I had the Elvis Memorial Combo. Everything on the plate was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--it's such a generous portion that I always end up taking half of it home. My parents ordered the chicken Chuychanga, which they loved. It came out hot, crispy, and packed with delicious flavor. Chuy's continues to be one of our go-to spots for great Tex-Mex and quality time together. We'll definitely keep coming back!

Chuys has one pf the beat Mexican food in orlando. Their boom boom sauce is a must try. Everything we ordered came with veggies beans and rice. The enchiladas were great, tacos were super filling and the chille relano was excellent. Our server was new at the outlet but pretty sweet. We ended our meal with tres leches which was so good. The place reminds you of mexico with all the colors n stuff

Stoped in here for a quick bite. Was feeling for Tex-Mex food. Food was exactly what we expected, Tex Mex (your standard dishes). I opted for the chicken flautas and my husband had the fajita quesadilla. The sauces were all flavorful and they had an extensive menu option. Service was great! Our waiter was attentive. The restaurant looks a little run down inside, could use a little more cleanup but not completely terrible. 8/10 food

Came here on a Sunday night and was relieved that there was no wait time (even though the restaurant was packed). The service was quick and the waitress was attentive. The portion sizes are huge which is great for sharing or for having leftovers. I love that they give you the chips and salsa while you wait for your food - the jalapeño ranch dip is A++++ in my book! For a party of 2, we ordered the chicken ponchos which is enough on its own as a meal. I then ordered the fajita steak/beef bowl. It was my first time ordering it and I think it may be my new go-to. The steak was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend getting this! Also, it's a very family friendly place at a really convenient location for those going to the parks.

There aren't a lot of places in Florida with Tex-Mex fare like we used to get in Dallas. After the Chevy's locations closed in Orlando, we were glad to find Chuy's had come to town. In the past we've had really good experiences at other Chuy's in Jacksonville and Orlando, but our first visit to this one on International Drive was an exception. It was a Saturday night and the place was jammed so we knew service might be slower than usual. At Chuy's the silverware comes in small paper bags but one of ours was missing a fork. It took over 10 minutes to get a waitress back to our table to let them know we needed one, and even after making that request one was never brought. The food was also not up to the quality we expected. Hoping for better if we give them another try.

Chuy's is a local Mexican chain restaurant, and this one is my favorite location. This one is located on International Drive next to the Escape Game. I have been here many times with my husband, family and friends and we have always had a great experience. They have a really fun vibe with lots of colors, pictures of doggies everywhere and hubcaps on the ceiling. They have booths and tables and seating at the bar as well, along with seating outside. If you go early you can be seated quickly. If it gets later into dinner you are going to wait. I don't mind waiting because they have a bar and what's better with Mexican food than a Margarita! They are so good and can be really large! I love the frozen Mango Margarita. They start you off with chips and salsa. I also asked for creamy jalapeno sauce instead of the salsa. The creamy jalapeno is spicy but I love it and use it on everything! I usually order the same thing, cheese enchiladas with the Tex Mex sauce. This comes with two enchiladas with cheese and the sauce of your choice along with beans and rice. YUM OH! I don't like refried beans, so I always get double rice. Tip: add the creamy jalapeno sauce and ask for extra cheese and add both to the rice!! That combination for me is so delicious. I have also had the fajitas (steak and chicken), and the tortilla soup. Everything is really delicious. I have never had a bad meal here. Everything tastes so fresh and comes out hot and is really just delicious. My parents always get the fajitas (they have for 1 or for 2) and share them. They come with the standard fajita toppings along with beans and rice. My husband always gets the salad which is loaded with chicken and vegetable toppings, as well as cheese and avocado. It is more on the healthier side, but it is really good. Their tortillas are made fresh, with an employee hand rolling and cooking them in the restaurant. I am a big fan of Mexican food, and yes this is a chain with locations around, but it is a really great chain. Everything is fresh, it tastes awesome and is just really good! You definitely need to try it. It does get busy in the evening so you might have to wait but it is worth it. I really like this location, the staff is always great and friendly, the food is delicious, the parking lot is pretty large but again it can get crowded. This is a great location on International Drive.

Chuy's is always a favorite restaurant for my husband and I to go to. Being from Texas, it was nice to get our fix on Tex-Mex in Florida and still feel happy about our spending afterwards. Reasonable prices with great food. Ask for the creamy jalapeño dip for your chips when you get there, you'll be addicted. Their tacos are very good as well. Service was great. We had quick refills, order put in, and also our check was brought to us asap. Great job, Chuy's! A plus that was at this location was a person making balloons for kids. The balloons she were making were actually very impressive!! She made balloon costumes (yes, costumes-the kids WORE the balloons) like little mermaid (Ariel), ninja turtles, tinker bell, and a bunch of others. Balloons don't necessarily impress me, but kudos to this chick! read more

Went here for a meal on New Year's day. I couldn't really stomach too much. I had the chicka chicka boom boom and it was good, but really spicy. My friends seem to love the chips and dipping options. Our waiter was very attentive. I was expecting brunch style, but it was straight up mexican food only. They get 4 stars just because I wasn't mentally ready, the service was great, and my friends really enjoyed their food/portions. read more

Fajitas were good and the tortillas were quite delicious. (I believe they make them there). Chips came with salsa and a form of ranch dip which was tasty. Rest of table enjoyed their tacos and enchiladas. Better Mexican restaurants exist but this was a nice spot for dinner. read more

We were craving the salsa and food but we never got that far. When we arrived we were told 15-20 minutes. 65 minutes later we were told it would be about 5-10 minutes. WE LEFT! I think they need to train there staff on providing accurate wait times. Doubtful I return. The food ain't that good. read more

If you are craving Mexican food I'd recommend coming here. The "big as your face burrito" are at a great price point because the serving is large and filling. Upon sitting down we were given salsa and chips "salsa was spicy" but tasty, to munch on while we look through the menu. The menu had a variety of Mexican food dishes. My fiancé ordered the chicken and steak fajita which I thought was ok. The meat were kind of bland. This is not my favorite Mexican restaurant, but the food is good enough for me to come back. read more

It was me my sister my nephew and chris that attended this resturant the food was fantastic flavorful and fresh AND I MEAN fresh ! The tortillas were made on the spot ....meat full of flavor cooked to perfection .The only reason this review got a four was because of the service. It was very difficult trying to get an attendent to cater your table...other then that I definitely recommend this resturant ...let your taste buds travel to the inner depths of your soul because it is a place worth trying read more

On vacation and our First time ever eating here. Food was great, service was not. Waited 15+ min for chips and drink refills. Waited an additional 10 min for our credit card to be processed. Will give our local Chuy's a try and hopefully this was just a fluke. Great atmosphere and the wait wasn't to long to be seated. Balloon guy kept the kids entertained. read more

This is my go-to place when I'm out and about and need a quick bite. The workers on the bar side are so great and friendly. There are three waiters who always go above and beyond and I always request them to be my server.The best part about this place is happy hour! Cheap drinks and free nachos, not chips and salsa, NACHOS. If your looking for authentic Mexican cuisine...your in the wrong place. This place does TEX-MEX .delicious food and a very fun atmosphere with a tribute to Elvis. Love this place. read more

Chuys is a regular favorite for me. This is the second time visiting this location. Rasha our server was extremely knowledgable and friendly! I always forget the name of my order, The Stacked Enchiladas, which are UH. MAZE. ING. Rasha was able to help me remember just from me explaining it. The gold was quick, we never had empty drinks, and our chips stayed full. Rasha really made us feel comfortable and have a good time. Great place, great food, great service. read more

Wow! The food portions are HUGE so be sure to share a meal. The salsa was tasty, but even better is the creamy jalapeño dip (the chips were a little too greasy). The chimichanga was delicious and enough for two people with the included beans and rice. The hard tacos crumbled a bit to easy, but the flavor was great. It was Wednesday so two of us had the special - Stuffed Avocado - and thoroughly enjoyed it. Again, two people could easily share that plate. Would visit here again. read more

I absolutely love Chuy's! The margaritas are great, the burritos are huge and taste awesome, and the atmosphere is always so fun. I went for happy hour one day and found out they have a little nacho bar for free with happy hour! You best believe I stayed and ate until I was full and happy. Definitely recommend this place if you're hungry and want a ton of food for a good price. read more

Came here for lunch today, very good chicken tacos, excellent salsa and ranch dip for the tortilla chips. bar had a lot of regulars must come in often, the bartender knew them by name. The refried black beans were excellent, homemade for sure. read more

My husband and I stopped into Chuy's last night for his birthday dinner. Our server, Cesar, was amazing. Very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable when we had questions. We ordered 2 frozen margaritas (I followed Cesar's recommendation and got strawberry and pina colada swirled, hubby got strawberry and lime swirled) & an order of queso compuesto to start. The drinks and appetizer came out fairly quickly and we were not disappointed. The queso was tasty and Cesar kept our chip basket full. For our meals I had soft chicken tacos & hubby got the steak burrito. The tortillas they use for the tacos are seriously the best I've ever had. Hubby was very happy with his steak burrito, it was PACKED with steak. The portion sizes are MASSIVE here, so you'll definitely have leftovers. The food is always delicious, and last night was no exception. We will definitely be back, and we'll be sure to ask for Cesar again. read more

I visited Chuy's for lunch with my family. This restaurant was recommended by friends who also, love Mexician food. The restaurant was packed with people. Very lively atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the soft chicken fajita tacos combination plate which included rice and beans. It was so delicious and a large portion. I could not finish it all. The ground sirloin beef burritos are big and friends stated that was also, delicious. One family member had an enchilada combination plate which was also, good. The food was really fresh. Just to note. The house salsa that we received was too hot for us. Our waitress brought us out their creamy jalapeno dip instead. That was gone within moments. You could put that dip on anything and it would taste good. We will definitely be back to this one. Good portions, good prices, just good food. read more

Chuy's brings good Mexican food to Florida.....check out their boom boom sauce over chicken enchiladas. I love anything based on Hatch Chiles.....and half the menu is. Love. They really need to put one of these in Tampa and Sarasota. Please! read more

Ok, so I was skeptical at first because of some of the reviews. This place is amazing and SPICY! The salsa is good, but really spicy... just the way I like it. I ordered the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Enchiladas and again they were deliciously SPICY! I definitely recommend this place, but you should probably bring Tums. read more

Amazing place for lunch I have to say portion size is perfect. Get the queso to start it's the best you will have. Spicy is the name of the game here try the steak burrito or the chicka-chicka boom boom. Great drinks go and enjoy you won't be dissapointed read more

My boyfriend and I got to this Chuy's at least once a week as we live nearby. We always have an awesome time. As I am originally from Austin, I am THRILLED to have the Chuy's chain in Orlando. This location has super speedy service. My food usually comes out within ten minutes of placing my order. Special tip: if there is a wait and your party is small, just head to the bar area (on your left.) Full menu is offered there and you can just seat yourself. I recommend the deluxe chicken enchiladas. YUMMY! read more

It has been a while since we have been to this location. From other locations, we have learned that the chicken is well seasoned. The fajita beef can be chewy but the ground beef is well seasoned. I ordered the burrito as something different and it was huge and tasty. Spouse got Elvis platter. We love the spicy jalapeño ranch with the chips. Highly recommend this restaurant read more

Ehh. I just felt that this place was ok. We stopped in for lunch on our recent visit to O town and expected much more since it was rated so well. The decor was fun and the bartender was right on for service but the food was definitely not the best Mexican I have had. The flautas were dry and tasteless. Queso was ok, and needed with almost everything to give it more flavor. Enchiladas were good but the sauce on top was not impressive. It would have been better with just normal enchilada sauce. The Taco was ok also. So overall it was just ok food, so for $60 we did expect better. read more

Happy hour is my favorite. I love seeing the photos of the dogs, though I've yet to bring a photo of my own pup. The bar area's great, and usually where my friends and I hangout. The few times I've ordered to go meals, the quality is pretty decent. Nacho car is the way to my heart. read more

I've never dealt with such blantent rudeness before. I like to be friendly and cooperative as possible to anyone working in the service industry as I myself worked waiting tables for 8 years and get the struggle of dealing with nasty people, being on your feet all day etc. The way I was treated today when picking up an appetizer through the curbside ordering was ridiculous though. I pulled up and texted "here" in one of their designated curb side to-go spots. All I had ordered was the appetizer quesadilla and a drink. When the woman who works there comes out my window is already down as I look up and smile and say hi. She is not smiling, in fact she looks angry, and says nothing to me. I say hi how're you? Ignores me. She holds the bag in front of me and I grab it and say thank you then hands me the drink of which I say thank you again - each time no response. Then she stands at my window saying nothing for a few moments looking in to my car. I go to open my mouth to speak and she says "OH OKAY" with an attitude and walks away heading back in to the restaurant. Seriously?!? Completely ignoring me when I do speak to you and then being nasty and walking away before I even can respond should I have wanted to. The audacity is insane. I absolutely would not recommend coming here. read more

My daughter and I were on vacation and to this location yesterday because we wanted Tex Mex, and it was fairly close to Universal Studios. The only thing decent about our meals was the free chips and salsa. The food was inauthentic and just plain gross. I ordered the guacamole appetizer and was served 3 scoops of brown mush on a bed of lettuce that they tried to pass off as guacamole. I'm not sure how this place has a 4 star rating. We come to Orlando often and this was definitely our first and last time at this establishment. read more

Looking for Tex Mex in Orlando. Chuy's hit the spot. The jalapenos ranch and salsa were a perfect dip for the fresh tortilla chips. The chicken fajitas were great the guacamole was delicious. Combo 1 proved to be about 3 times what my wife could eat, but she loved every bite of it. Only negative I could say was that charged for sour cream that was supposed to come with the fajitas (ordered fajitas for two, only came with one scoop of sour cream), then didn't bring it until we were ready to leave. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

There are TONS of pictures of this drink on Yelp. Much to my surprise, my drink arrived with NO DUCK. When I asked the waitress about it, she shrugged it off said they "don't do that anymore". Luckily, Cinco was on Tuesday this year, so we were able to order from the "Taco & Tequila Tuesday" discounted menu. We started off with the Grilled Corn Elote which is served tableside. I thought this would be cool, but it wasn't. It was a bit painful watching the waitress struggle to shave the corn off. I almost wanted to offer help! After all that, the corn was just ok. I personally think the Elote I make at home is better. Thankfully this was on the Tuesday Menu also making it only $5. While perusing their selections prior to going, I felt that their taco prices were a bit steep. They have two types of taco sizes. The Street Tacos looked itty bitty with next to nothing on them. They do have a lot of flavor choices (11), and you get 3-4 tacos for about $20. Glad I saw photos of these on Yelp beforehand. Then they have Tacos Locos. They are described as "One large taco" when in fact they are just regular sized tacos overflowing in toppings. Just ONE Tacos Locos costs about $15! I think the pricing is loco, and based off what we'd tried so far, I was certain to only order from the Tuesday menu. We were able to get a Shrimp Chicharron for $6 and a Vampiro (Chicken or Carnitas) for $8. The shrimp one was appetizing. I even remember thinking after the first few bites that I should have just gotten two of those. Then I tried a piece of chicken from my Vampiro. It was a piece of straight fat that I immediately spit out. That pretty much killed it for me, and I didn't even eat anymore of the Vampiro or anything else for that matter. The positives of the evening included: -Getting into a spot to celebrate on Cinco De Mayo -The food came out quicker than expected based on the reviews -Trying a new restaurant and learning that it's nowhere I will be returning to or recommending. We loved the food and atmosphere so much that we visited twice the same week while visiting the Orlando area. Today 4 friends and I walked into this place looking for good drinks and a good time. Halfway through our drinks a manager with a pixie cut walks up to our table in the middle of our conversation and tells us she is ready to give us our check. We all looked at each other questioning whether or not it was a joke. When the oldest of our group asked why we were being given the check she looked shocked and said "I just thought you guys were done.".. Such absolute horrible customer service. It's a shame because our waitress, Jaz was actually very kind and accommodating. There were only two tables occupied apart from ours at the time. I would think being a manager that you would want customers to eat and drink at your establishment, no? .. I HIGHLY recommend AGAINST eating here. The management has no class and my friends and I (a group of 5 girls from Miami), left feeling rushed, unwanted and completely unsatisfied with the overall experience. If you're in Orlando and are craving good Mexican food, this is the place to go. My family and I went to the international drive location and were served by Danny and had an amazing experience. The food and atmosphere was so good we came back before we went home and asked for Danny again and it was like we never left. Strongly urge people to try it out. Wow!! All I can say is wow!! This restaurant was fantastic! We love Mexican and wasn't too sure cuz its Tex Mex but it was delicious from start to finish. First the chips and salsa were great (homemade) by the way everything is fresh and homemade! My husband and I split the Chuy changa & the fajitas (combo) for one.
