I contacted Jr with less than 2 weeks until my event (a birthday party for about 50 people).  He was always very quick to respond to me over both Yelp & text. His quotes were super clear, reasonable & included lots of stuff (rice, beans, jalapeño poppers, several salsas/sauces, cheese, jalapeños, onions, cilantro, lime, chips, plates, napkins, forks). There were no hidden fees or extra charges, which I appreciated.  He seemed very open to accommodating anything I might need, I just had to ask! Charlie & Daniel were super nice & very professional! Unfortunately, it decided to rain on our party date, but they were prepared with big tents for us.  I literally did not have to think about anything, because they had already thought of it all! Even down to packing up any extra food for us! I was able to choose a variety of proteins options: chicken, beef, pork, shrimp (extra $). In short-- if I ever needed to hire a taco caterer again, I'd get Chuy Tacos-- no hesitation. Why? Because: - Contacting the owner, Jr, was easy. He answered all of my questions (very promptly) and accommodated guest count changes with no problem. From inquiry to quoting to final payment experience was all prompt and minimal effort was required. - Their set up and service was seamless and the employees who serviced us were very nice and professional. They showed up on time for set up and were ready to cook at the time planned. At one point, they even went out of their way and offered to help us shift some of our own tables to move them more into some shade. - Food was more than well received by our guests, so delicious! My husband and his family are from Tijuana so he can be quite critical about tacos but he thought they were great going back for seconds and thirds-- he even raved about the beans. We also requested agua frescas and they were thirst quenching. - Their set up was aesthetically professional and when they turned down service, they didn't cause any disturbance to our ongoing event. SIMPLY AMAZING!! Must book for an event! I can not recommend these guys enough!! It was a quick and easy process to book via text and they were early and prepared. No need to provide them with anything. They came with all their own equipment and even their own serving table. We booked them for a 30 person graduation party and they were such a hit. They show up and stay for a total of 3 hours. It's 1 hour to prep then they serve for 2 hours. The package came with three proteins Asada ,Chicken, and Pastor. Sides include Rice and refried beans, Salsas, and Onion, cilantro, and limes. And the guests LOVED their Jalapeños poppers. These guys are great! We hired Chuy Tacos for a small baby shower for about 25 people this past weekend. It was a smooth transaction from beginning to end. They were very responsive from the get go and very flexible. They arrived on time even though they just came from a previous lunch event. They got setup and started prepping right away. They are there for a total of 3 hours. 1 hour to prep and 2 hours for serving. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Catering came with carne asada, chicken, pork, rice, beans, and salsa bar. They also had these cheese stuffed jalapenos too. All the meat was nice and tender. You can have it with either tacos or quesadillas. After they were done, they cleaned everything up and left the rest of the food with us. The price was very reasonable compared to others in the area. JR is super, super responsive and catering for 40 people was completely reasonable for the quality (and quantity!) of food. On the day of, JR was on time and brought everything. The weather had been kind of crappy but Jr brought two canopies - one for him to cook under and one for the people in line. His set up was great - vegetables, rice, beans, and all the toppings.
