Queso Good is a food truck specializing in quesadillas. They've got a wide selection so I decided…read moreto try their Argentine steak dilla which is on a 13 inch tortilla with mozzarella cheese, marinated grilled steak, chimichurri, tomatoes, lettuce, and small potatoes. It also somes with a very small amount of tortilla chips. This cost me $15.37. The first thing I noticed is that their tortillas aren't the stereotypical white flour you see in most quesadillas at other places; it was a very unique thin and crispy texture. It was huge and filled to brim with so much flavor that I couldn't finish it; it made me wish I was more hungry at the time of purchasing it. I really like the fact that their website is very detailed.

A suggestion for improvement is that the menu near the ordering window did not match the menu on the side of the truck, nor did the food come out according to the menu. I ordered the Hail Caesar with a side of guacamole ($2 for a tiny ramekin). The menu did not state there were onions on the dilla but I asked when I ordered to confirm there were no onions. The man taking orders told me that if the menu didn't say onions were included, then onions wouldn't be included. Guess what was included? Giant chunks of red onion. A little disappointed by the inconsistency and lack of employee knowledge. The quesadilla came out hot and fresh and was very large.

From what I understand, the truck moves around to different locations, so it's worth keeping an eye out for where they'll be next. We ordered three Viva Mexico burgers and one bacon avocado burger, plus fries. The total came out to around $80 for the four of us. It's a little on the high side for burgers and fries, but the quality and portion sizes were definitely solid. The fries were a standout. They're hand cut and cooked in beef tallow, which gives them a rich flavor you don't get from typical fries. My son immediately said they're in his top three fries he's ever had, which says a lot. The burgers were big, messy, and really flavorful, definitely a little greasy, but in the best way. The Viva Mexico burgers had great flavor, and the bacon avocado burger was just as good. Overall, if you like a good, greasy burger and excellent fries, La Hambuguesa is worth trying.

My friends and I arrived about 20 minutes before the truck opened, and there were already a few people standing in line. The line moved pretty quickly, and the total time from ordering and receiving our food was only about 15 minutes. At this time, the line wrapped around the truck. The food came out hot and fresh. Filet-o-fish is one of my favorites of all time, and the filet de fish did not disappoint at all! The first bite had us levitating and seeing stars. The tartare sauce that the fried fish was smothered in was delicious and creamy, and the fish fillet itself was tender and flaky. The toasted and soft Japanese bun was the cherry on top. Simple and comforting and nostalgic, but elevated in the best way. We also tried their popular Viva Mexico, but we felt like it lacked in flavor and only tasted spicy, if that makes sense. Beef tallow fries were okay and not anything special. Great portions, however, it was still pretty expensive for a food truck burger. I'm glad I got to try this place out and will be back if the filet de fish hits the menu again, and would try their Signature next time.

This is the third time this truck has been to our work (We have a charity that we can donate…read moreto...if 85% of our employees donate to this charity, we get free food trucks paid for by the bossman) but only the first time I had eaten here (I went with the Queso Good truck the last 2 years). I went with a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and some Sweet Potato Fries. Solid food! The cheeseburger was a good size (probably 1/3lb), and tasted great! They use an artisan style bun which holds everything together very well. It had good crisp bacon on it, nice melted cheddar, and a little bit of sweet bbq sauce. Could not complain at all! Now onto the sweet potato fries......I'm usually not the biggest fan of sweet potato items (fries, tots, pie etc), mostly due to them being kind of soggy. I am happy to say that these sweet potato fries were bomb! Crispy, hot, salted perfect and delicious! Some of, if not the best sweet potato fries I have had. I would come back to this truck just for them! Service was friendly. They had one lady taking orders and 1 (maybe 2?) people cooking in the truck. Food was ready fast, it was tasty, and best of all, it was free for donating to a good cause (I would buy something off this truck with my own $$$ if I was out and about and saw it. It was solid!) I hope to see them again next year, if not sooner!
