I really haven't had a bad experience at Firehouse before, but this is just ridiculous…read more I would have turned around and gone back to have them correct the egregious errors in sandwich making... but no, we're currently hooked up to a trailer with a horse in it, headed to TN. So, here I sit, as a passenger, writing this review in hopes management sees this review and improves the service. I ordered a H&L, nothing out of the ordinary, added oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, jalapeños, and banana peppers. Next sammie... turkey. Again, nothing crazy... no mustard (I can't do vinegar-based sauces), add Cajun mayo and olives. What did we get? H&L came with black olives, Cajun mayo, no oil, no vinegar, no salt or pepper. Turkey didn't have any olives, and they added the oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. I couldn't eat my turkey because vinegar hurts my stomach. Husband couldn't eat his because of the Cajun mayo and the black olives. I should also add, that the amount of oil and vinegar added to the sub was, superfluous; the entire sandwich was SOGGY. We just wasted a half hour waiting for 2 sandwiches that were incorrectly made... and we're still hungry...so...thanks.

Zero stars. Ordered online. Then waited inside for 50 minutes. Got two I'm sorrys but still no…read morefood. Finally got a manager to refund our meal. Everyone in the restaurant was waiting on food. Staff was disorganized, losing tickets, other people also requested refunds and left the restaurant. They were also out of ice. I never write reviews and am generally very forgiving of service related experiences, but this was unacceptable. Overall horrible experience. Avoid stopping here. We won't be back.

Absolutely, without a hint of any doubt, the most interesting Dairy Queen on the face of the earth…read more The dining area of this Dairy Queen is in a separate building from the kitchen. The two buildings are separated by a small outdoor eating area. The kitchen looks as though it was built at a time that it could have been patronized by a young Hank Williams and Audrey Sheppard just moments before they were married a few steps away at John G Wright Sr.s garage. The 'dining building' is a true throwback to a by-gone era. Adorned with relics from restaurants of the past, it's as much a museum as a restaurant. You won't find any Formica tables here, only heavy solid oak furniture will match this decor. There are even pint-sized picnic tables with painted-on table cloths for the kids. As for the food, it's standard Dairy Queen. Good quality, quick and courteous service. If you're in Andalusia, I highly recommend stopping in to see this one of a kind Dairy Queen. There will be no "Tear in your Blizzard" (sorry Hank).

Dipped cones are just one of my favorites, A vanilla shake and those crispy seasoned just right fries are a tasty pair. Hot dogs, corn dogs, chili dogs , slaw dogs along with crispy chicken sandwich and a good old fashioned cheese burger and so many more yummy comforting foods to choose from. They offer a dining area or you can sit in your car and enjoy your selection or take it home. Sometimes the french fries don't make it home. Dairy Queen's are iconic places that will take you back to your childhood. Come by and take a walk down memory lane and enjoy that creamy goodness that DQ has to offer.
