I've been here a few times, it's a nice snack and easy to have on the go. They have a variety of corn dogs as well as toppings and sauces. This time we got the sweet potato and the potato corn dogs. The sweet potato corn dog is a new item and it was really good. They also had a new chipotle sauce to go along with the sweet potato corn dog. The shop is small so you may have to wait outside for your order. It wasn't too busy when we went but Ive seen longer lines when the weather is nicer.

Went here for the 50% off happy hour deal that is running until the 17th!!!! Was my second time coming here. It is just a takeout place so a nice snack/small meal for on the go. Decor is very friendly feeling and staff are super nice as well! Quite a variety to pick from as well! Got one of the double cheese dogs for the special and loved it!!! Very tasty and cheesy and it was super cheap! ($3). Very great and convenient spot if you're hungry for some rice dogs!

I had been hearing about Korean Hot Dogs in Toronto on Instagram often within the last month! To be honest, I had seen stands selling them in Tokyo's Korea Town, but whenever I was there, it was either right before dinner or right after eating lunch. The multiple posts by Toronto food bloggers highlighting these foods lured me to Chung Chun. For a Saturday afternoon, there was still a line up of about 5 people before we were served. If you're driving, there's a lot of street parking around the location. You can also walk around the neighbourhood. We ordered: - Mozzarella and Hot Dog - Potato - Volcano With each stick, you get a choice of sauces to go with it. We got really good recommendations from staff as choosing from delicious sweet mayo to honey butter to teriyaki sauce can be tough to decide on. The first two were delicious; the volcano was 'meh' that we ended up not finishing it and chucking it. This place is a chain and they have a few locations in the city; the Bloor location is probably closest to me. Can't wait to return! Good for: Korean Hot Dog

Tried the sausage and sweet potato corndog and it was good. They prepared it quickly and it came out piping hot! I would have preferred if the batter portion was a bit thicker. Also enjoyed how crunchy the sweet potato was but would have preferred some more flavour - guess that's what the sauces are for.

Soo happy, there is a 2nd location near me! Was a little confused when we got there because we saw people waiting and wasn't sure if they have ordered yet. We ended up get 4 hotdogs: -volcano ( not as spicy as it advertise, big too) -potatoes ( add alot of sauce or it will be dried) -rice cake + hotdog (really good combo, extra chewy!) -original ( can't go wrong with this) I have tried the squid which was good too, cute with the tentacles! Must eat right away so it will stay crispy!

Friendly helpful staff. I couldn't decide what I want and they talked me through the menu. I ordered #9 mozzarella and cheddar with a chicken and beef hot dog. The hotdog is quite small, half the size of the corn dog while I was eating I thought they forgot to pur a hotdog. I preferred the mozzarella cheese over the cheddar. The mozzarella complimented the batter better. I do wish the dog was the full size but oh well.

THE BEST corndog I've had in my entire life. Toronto can't keep giving the best of the best, honestly if they don't stop I'm going to have to move here. Veggie dog with the Sweet Potato Topping: I had stayed in Korea for 6 months and couldn't find a vegetarian option for their famous corn dogs. Toronto delivered. The veggie dog itself was just perfect, every bite. Will be back for more! Meat dog with the ramen topping: My husband eats meat so he got this. He ate a lot of Corn Dogs in Korea. Maybe too many. He loved these and said they were very innovative. He hadn't seen this style in Korea. Recommendations: if you did mini corn dogs with each toppings that would be amazing!

Second time trying this place, but their bloor st. location. This time around it tasted a lot better than the first. Got the Sausage Rice Cake beef sausage. I thought the rice cake would be a slightly melted and pulley like cheese. But it was soft. Went for the sweet potato coating and a side of spicy mayo and honey butter powder. The combo of sweet and savory made this dog so tasty. I think next time I will just get the Gamsung (potato) dog. lol Too much rice cake going on and not enough meat lol Overall was really yummy.

The best corndog in town! I tried other places, and this one is order to make, and it's very outer skin is so crunchy with sauce on top of it. Perfect! They also have lots of choices too! The only bad thing is ... its just too unhealthy can't eat too many.

THE HYPE IS REAL!!! I saw Chung chun rice dogs on Instagram and I had to give them a try. I was passing through Koreatown and saw a small line outside the restaurant. The line moved quickly but I had to wait for 15 minutes for my food. However, the rice dog was worth the wait. I got the chicken toping hot dog with honey mustard as the lady working there suggested me that it was one of their bests. The rice dog was hot, fresh and crunchy- exactly how I would like it to be. I could taste the fresh mozrella and it tasted great with the sausage and the batter. I can't wait to visit them again and try more of their toppings!! (Also, the staff was really friendly and took care of Covid protocols as well.)

I truly wanted to like the rice dogs from Chung chun rice dogs but unfortunately they were just not for me. I went in thinking it would be amazing due to the many reviews I've heard about this place so i was very excited to try it. However, the results were highly disappointing and I was left dissatisfied. However, i do understand that it is my personal opinion, So if you had a good experience and enjoy your food, I'm happy for you. The rice dogs I got the gamsung hotdog and the chungchun hot dog. I found the batter soaked up a lot of the oil and the cheese tasted very cheap and so did the sausage. I feel like i could have made this at home with better ingredients and do a better job, no offence. I might give it another chance in the future just to see if they have any new flavours that might be more appealing as i know they do have special favours from time to time, which is a plus. Overall, the idea of rice dogs are very cool and i do like the concept, but i do think it is overpriced for what it is and not worth your money

My all time favourite Korean corn dog place! I would recommend doing a pickup order from any of the food delivery services so you don't have to wait in line. The employees are super duper nice. I usually get the whole mozzarella cheese and the regular corn dog with deep fried potatoes. My go to sauce is the honey mustard! Sooo good.

I ordered 6 chungchun dogs and they were great! My SO and I waited for about an hour and so we got really hungry and ordered 3 each... be warned, LOL youre not as hungry as you think. By the half of my second one, I was full. The sauces are good, and the toppings really fill you up. The reason Im giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because they got my sauces wrong lol and i had to repeat myself a ton and they still got it wrong. After waiting over an hour, Id really like to have the order I want.

No rice, no cooked veggies, it was disgusting just lettuce and been paste is all you tasted... $17 and it wasn't even edible, I took the food back just a couple minutes after we had sat down I would never eat here again I would tell anyone that ask to stay as far away as possible.

Today, I made the mistake of purchasing a goat roti at Randy's on Yonge Street. At 1:20 PM, the place was completely empty. I approached the counter and was met with no greeting, no smile, not from the cashier nor from the two women near the hot table. The roti shell was undercooked, gummy, and doughy. The filling was 95% overcooked, tasteless potato, with only a few tiny bits of actual goat. The entire filling was dangerously well below safe temperature. When I politely requested a small amount of pepper sauce, a full whispered "committee meeting" began behind the counter about how to handle my simple request. After their U.N.-style debate, the final decision was: "Here's a tiny squirt of pepper sauce." Seriously? Penny‑wise and pound‑foolish has never cost a business more. Absolutely shameful.

Whenever someone brings up something foolish that I did in my youth, I touch the back of my hand to my forehead, toss my head back and proclaim "Oh but t'was in my salad days, when I was green in judgement!" LOL. I really should have been an actress! But enough about The Bard and my career choices, what about the food, right? It was good. I had the Salad Days Special ($8.49). It was romaine and iceberg lettuce, sweet potato mash, 2 dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with rice and spices), tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, feta cheese, hummus, tzatziki, and your choice of chicken, cooked salmon, smoked salmon, tuna, meatballs, smoked ham or falafel. I chose cooked salmon and asked them to hold the hummus. The salad was huge, but the majority of it was lettuce. Still, a really good deal for $8.49. The cooked salmon was a good size, which I liked. It was cold, but still flavourful and didn't smell fishy. I would have preferred it if the kalamata olives had the pits removed, but they were still ok. They have other set salads or you can make a custom salad. Their model is like Freshii, but I like them much better than Freshii. Staff were nice and efficient. So this is the location in Cumberland Terrace, just west of Yonge. They have another location really close by in The Hudson's Bay Centre, just east of Yonge. I like this one in Cumberland Terrace better because there are a few seats right next to it that is only shared with Esther Queen of the Soups customers. It's a bit more secluded. Note that the Salad Days in Cumberland Terrace is not in the main food court area.
