This visitors center is well decorated, and provides a history of Wyoming through dioramas, exhibits, and even a huge dinosaur! I enjoyed this little place so much I found myself spending nearly an hour here enjoying the exhibits and learning about this area of Wyoming. If you have the time to spare on your drive, check this place out. Kids will love it and you will enjoy the clean, large restrooms. Drive safely!

Awesome. As it's special, and this is the "Lincoln Highway", they have erected a gigantic bust of President Abraham Lincoln. It is worth making the stop to check it out. As rest areas go, it's pretty decent with a rest room, plenty of parking and even a water fountain. Plan for cooler weather due to the altitude. The best part is all of the stop are the amount of picnic tables. They have a cover and plenty of space between them. They also have a tone of trash bins right where you needs them. There's some really nice walking paths around the rest area as well as dog friendly spots. The area has a few historical plaques that you can read and learn from. Overall it is a kept up rest spot and clean. I wish it would smell better. Additionally, I've been to some rest stops that offer free WiFi and have vending machines. There's no vending machines here, but maybe someday they'll get some! To use the restroom in Lusk, you either have to stop here or the Sinclair that is more in town. This place is never crowded, so my family and I always stop here!
