They even have a mammoth skeleton and a little prop archelogist dig site. So cool! They've got videos you can select and watch about the history of Wyoming. My kids loved the little jail that had a slide to get out of. Bathrooms were very clean. They have shaded picnic tables outside too. A great spot to come to stretch your legs and start your visit in Wyoming. I would even say just visit even if you are not needed to take the rest stop.

There's some really nice walking paths around the rest area as well as dog friendly spots. The area has a few historical plaques that you can read and learn from. Overall it is a kept up rest spot and clean. I wish it would smell better. Additionally, I've been to some rest stops that offer free WiFi and have vending machines. There's no vending machines here, but maybe someday they'll get some! To use the restroom in Lusk, you either have to stop here or the Sinclair that is more in town. Wtheck is wrong with people? That review was a couple years ago before all of the madness that is taking place today, and by the way, this is a nightmare we are in now. It is perpetuated by these Karen's of the world who want to make EVERYTHING somehow about identity politics and racism. Just stop it already. Every opinion is NOT directly related to racism. It is this mentality which is dividing this country terribly.
