Warning ‼. Turn around! Do not stop here! The dirtiest stop ever. From the filthy outside with garbage, cigarette butts outside to the dirty glass doors, filthy floors and do not go in the puke smelling bathrooms! Years of issues with poor customer service, poor mechanical condition of fuel pumps, rude and disrespectful employees and the inability of staff to provide advertised services. Avondale Arizona, May 2024-Had 100 lb propane tank in motorhome filled. Had to go inside to pay. Long line took awhile because only 1 cashier present although the line was several isles in depth. When I finally got back to my motorhome and was preparing to pull away, a little boy with a gun and a security guard vest treated me as an invader, yelling insults at me for occupying the pull in for propane too long. Later that same evening, in Tucson...I am diabetic, I had a low surgery episode as I was driving thru Tucson. Stopped at a pilot and parked by some trucks to recover. 10 minutes of recovery is all I was afforded, a Pilot employee came and beat on my door, yelling at me for parking by trucks, refused to tell me where it would be appropriate to park and threatened me with a police call if I was having medical problems. Diabetes isn't like that, idiots. FFwd to July, 2025. Pilot in cheyenne Wyoming- Sunday is a day many rv'ers are on the road. Many need propane. Cheyenne Flying J has 2 propane refill stations, North and South. Tried to get filled on Sunday but Pilot FJ didn't have anybody qualified, imagine, 2 propane refill stations and Flying J cant schedule a qualified operator on one on the busiest days of the week? So, I parked nearby and waited for Monday. Now on Monday the Lost the key to the south fill station, left me standing there waiting and nobody ever came out to help so I went back in and was told they lost the key, go to the north fill station....the north fill Station wouldn't pump and the operator couldn't figure it out. This place was a hot mess they have separate gas areas for cars, RVs, and commercial trucks. But yet, all the gas areas are still smushed together and separated by curbs. RIP to the RVs pulling into the car area. Then when you get into the RV area.. there's only 2.. and if the people ahead of you decide to now live inside Flying J you're stuck there until they return lol lastly, the pump pay didn't work so you had to go inside and wait in line to pay cashier haha 0/10 read more

Wow is this place every HOPPING! This is a large gas station for sure! When we went though every lane was filled with a line backing out of every slot. and this was a monday at around 1 pm?? so not like it was a weekend. i dont think i have ever seen a gas station so busy. Had to wait for awhile to be able to pull in. Gas prices seemed comparable to the prices being charged everywhere right now. Just expensive compared to a year ago. The store part had quite a few options seemingly more than most gas stations. The staff was pleasant but not overly friendly. Maybe they were feeling overwhelmed as there was also long lines inside to check out. read more

Don't bother with the incompetence at the shop here. I've been here since 1041 this morning and they are just now getting to me for a trailer flat. By the way the time is 1656. As an added note there was 1 person in front of me. It was a service call that took 1.5 hrs. In which time the original grease monkey came back, took a lunch and then left for the day. Enter grease monkey 2, as soon as he gets here @ 1430, he takes off on another service call. Seriously!? WTF?!!! So I've called around pretty damn pissed and I guess it gets back to the second grease monkey and this idiot gives me attitude. Screw this place, do yourself a favor and go to a different shop. I'd definitely give this crap hole a zero if it was possible. It is now 1800 - these fools took over 7 hours to change a F*ckin Trailer Tire! read more

I don't leave bad reviews usually however this place is total trash we stopped in to grab drinks and use the restroom on the way out of town and wow. The first thing you notice is the GARBAGE. Garbage flowing over out of every can on the property out the top and all over the ground old food and drink containers and stick spots on the concrete. Then you walk in and the glass doors are filthy sticky and clearly not washed in a long time. Inside things are a mess and the shelves are not stocked. But the real kicker is the woman's bathroom terrible smell trash cans overflowing with paper and sanitary napkins paper towel machine hanging off the wall and BLOOD on the wall of the stall I went into.. when I was totally grossed out and wanted to wash my hands the soap dispensers were both empty this place is disgusting and I'm never going back there read more

Worst example of customer service in my entire lifetime. Needed propane, they said they couldn't because of weather. Called customer service they said only if there is visible lightning strikes. Checked weather.com and several radar services as I had not even seen a sign of lightning and of course there was none. Manager claimed his maintenance guy saw it when he walked out-he walked out to meet me and he definitely didn't see lightning. Manager named: JOSH told me when I tried to ask about the maintenance guy and why they were refusing service said and I quote: " It's none of your damn business" Basically if you come here ask if JOSH is on duty. Great stop just off the highway 25. Clean restrooms. Easy in and out. They have a Denny's in here and a Cinnabon which the smell from those things knock you down the minute you step in the door. Make sure you sign up for their rewards card we just got 3 cents off a gallon using it. read more

In the current time of covid 19 distancing, I can appreciate the step that have been taken by pilot/flying J to support the drivers. There are a few steps that they should seriously consider to help keep the driver safe and moving up and down the highways. I would love to see sanitizers at the registers, in the bathrooms. Maybe some tape on the floor to help other acknowledge distances for the 6 ft rule. Did not see anyone wiping common areas and frequent touch areas ie for handles. read more

Ok I have procrastinated making this review because I wanted to give this location a second chance to redeem themselves before I completely just trash them however that isn't not what happened here and this is certainly a regular occurrence. First things first. Nothing at this station ever works. Last time I was here the diesel pumps wouldn't work and ended up having someone else take off with just under $300 worth of diesel. I had to call EFS to have the problem corrected and before they even knew what was going on the guy had already pulled out of the fuel island and was on his way. Had the line at the counter not taken 30 min I could have had the ability to correct the pump problem and prevented the whole occurrence. However the lasy at the front was alone with a line of about 10 people and no one to help. Not to mention the inability to work at a faster pace than dripping molasses in the winter time. This is not really the biggest problem seeing as though there was a bit of mistake on my end so I chalked it up to just bad timing and shit happens. So I go on about my day and figure I will come back to give a chance fix it. Which brings me to--- Secondly today. Ohh boy boy. Have I had one hell of a night. First I get here pumps are still messing up and pump slowly. Then parking isn't regulated what so ever and people are more crooked than the white cop in bad boys 2. Finding a place to park was a nightmare all to itself. Once I finally did find a place to park I managed to get everything settled down and went ahead and crashed I get woken up in the middle of the night to my dog who took a shit on my blanket which happened to be the one I was using to sleep. So I have to get up and take the dog out and remove the shit from the blanket. Well that seems easy enough except it wasn't all solid. So now I'm faced with another issue that I need to solve pretty quickly. I roll up what's left and I make my way over to the blue beacon which is the only thing I can think to do to get the bulk of the mess off the blanket. The guys there amazing guys. He said that's no problem I will go ahead and spray it down free of charge considering the circumstances. So I'm thinking alright that's great now I just gotta figure out how to get it dry. Well flying j has washers and dryers for the drivers to use. So I make my way back across the street and I go inside and explain what happened. The guy inside points me in the direction of the laundry room. It was at this point I realized they were going to be too small to wash and dry my thick blanket and that it probably wouldn't work. So I go back to the counter and I kinda explain the situation and I ask if they have a bigger set I could use to handle the bigger set of sheets. Which I already know they do. I get pointed to a manager which is an older lady. I again explain the situation and get told no. I can't use the washer and dryer for that because it would de sanitize the system.... ummm excuse me what? If your going to give me a bullshit answer or excuse Atleast ast give me something better than de sanitizing the washer and dryer. Like seriously what kinda bullshit answer is that. So realizing that it wasn't going to happen I explained that I have to dry the blanket some how and it's freezing outside so drip or hang dry isn't really an option seeing as how it would be a solid sheet by morning. I say well then I guess we will see what your washer and dryers are made of then. I proceed to get the blanket from the bed of my truck. Soaked I drag it through the store to get it where I need to be for the washer and I mean this thing is so heavy I can barely lift it. It's soaked up a lot of water from being sprayed out. It's now in the washer and about to go in the dryer. Washer didn't seem to do a very good job. Blanket still has quite the dirt patch and just doesn't look clean at all. I'm very disappointed and will be going to loves from now on. read more

This Travel Plaza is pretty good. Nothing amazing, just another place to pull off and get gas, eat and rest up a bit. The gas is cheaper here than in Colorado or Nebraska but it gets even more cheaper if you go into town more. Southeast Wyoming is known for cheap gas so fill up before you leave the state. read more

Gas Stations throughout the United States can be questionable at the best of times - and the food served from them even more questionable. But then there is the Flying J. Being a storm chaser, we can find ourselves pretty much anywhere throughout the United States, anywhere from downtown Oklahoma to the gravel road in country Wyoming - anywhere from the Mexican border to the Canadian border or even further when everyone has their passport on board. Flying J is one of those gas stations you don't mind stopping at. Staff are generally friendly and those snacks (including fresh sandwiches & salads) are always ready to be taken on the road quickly and always good quality. read more

Always a great place to stop. Seriously everything you need is here. The only drawback is sometimes they don't have enough people on hand to do everything. From Denny's, to Cinnabon, to showers, gas, and great souvenirs and entertainment, this is the place for you. The highway exit is set up for semi traffic and might throw you off at first. read more

The gas price was the lowest in the area. The showers were the cleanest I've ever seen. I wish they had nicer towels though.

I'm sure if you're in a car that your experience here will be better. As a professional truck driver trying to get fuel in the fuel island however... that's an entirely different scenario. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because their diesel is of a better quality than most other truck stops. But you will spend at least half an hour here every time trying to get fuel. 3 bays are closed down and have been for days. Does flying J care about your HOS regulations? Hell no! read more

The Flying J is a great little place I got stuck at in a snowstorm in January of 2018 when i80 and i25 were both closed. The staff was kind and understanding, having a non-trucker hanging out for 2 days. My hat is off to all the staff. Yet I must say that AJ one of the utility guys working was outstanding. As a restaurant owner for 20 years he is someone that would be key to my business success and image. Who ever has control of this man's paycheck I suggest upping it a bit... and the Young lady with the long red hair on days stocking and inventorying product busts her ass and also deserves a big high five for her diligent attention to the stock and vendors from my observation. Love this place because of cheap gas, Nebraska and Colorado both have around 30-50 cents higher per gallon. Fill up here then move on.

Stopped here on my way home from Denver last August. Ate in their cafe. Had the BLT....it was big, fresh and delicious. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Would stop here again if ever this way. Good job guys.....and gals. read more

RV camper? This is a great "in and out" for gas or diesel RV. It has a separate pump area for rv's only that has gas and diesel pumps on both sides of 2 lanes. It also has propane, long handled windshield squeegees and fuel is at comparable prices without having to go far add the highway. read more

My experience with this Flying J (twice) is that there is no place to park a truck and trailer so you can take advantage of eating at the Denny's. Both times we have had to park on the street. Also if you use the RV gas pumps to fuel up the turning radius to get back out is impossible if there are cars using the outside pumps in the regular fuel area. We just think it could be designed a little better. We never have trouble at most Flying J's. We were also disappointed that our Good Sam Loyalty Card was not accepted at Pilot stations in Montana. We spent a great deal of our vacation in Montana. read more

This station, and I think other Flying Js, have decided they really don't want RVers with trailers. You are supposed to use the RV lanes for diesel instead of going in with the trucks. But they made the lane narrow, with curbs that you end up climbing because the exit turn is so sharp you can't make it with a long rig. I really don't need to be led into a trap where I can damage my tires, wheels, etc. read more

This place advertises itself as an RV park. When I made reservations, three different people told me it was a full service place. They posted a glowing review. Full service means water, sewer and, at least, electricity. I repeatedly asked about the service; I was told over and over that they had it. We pulled a fifth wheel all the way from Bozeman To Cheyenne that day. When we arrived, we were told our full service sight was an asphalt parking spot surrounded by about 100 semi trucks. Either the people answering your phones don't have a clue or laughed all night long about the old people sleeping with truckers. My husband has a breathing condition and requires electricity. But we spent the night in the Walmart parking lot in Fort Collins. We are NOT impressed. read more

This rating is for the Cinnabon employee inside the Flying J. I love this place, I always stop when traveling between Colorado and South Dakota. This employee (didn't get her name) was the absolute worst! She saw me approach the counter but turned her back. I had to wait at least 3 minutes for her to turned around and acknowledge me. I another employee even told her she had a customer and all she said was "I know,".she still didn't turn around. When she finally turned around she still didn't acknowledge me, she just stood there waiting for me to order. When she bagged my order she slid it across the counter and took my card without one word. She did not speak one word during the entire transaction, even when I said thank you. How do people like this keep their jobs. Initially, I thought I'd think twice before I stop here again but that's not fair to the other employees that work there that have always been wonderful. read more

I stopped after driving through Nebraska, was hoping to get a salad. There were no salads in the cooler so I asked the clerk if perhaps there were some in a different cooler. She checked and said no, but that they could make some for us. The salad chef quickly made 3 salads, they were GREAT. Wonderful service, great people that care. read more
