Before booking, I clearly stated that the shipment had to be unloaded into the basement by two movers, and Xpert Trans accepted those terms. However, when the truck arrived, only one mover showed up. He told me basement delivery was not part of his contract and wanted to unload all of my belongings on the street and leave. I immediately contacted Xpert Trans, expecting them to resolve the issue. Instead, they told me I would have to pay the carrier for unloading and ignored the fact that the agreed-upon basement delivery was not being provided. They also became difficult to reach when the problem occurred. Still waiting for them to respond and do something about this. Very irresponsible broker. If you are considering using Xpert Trans, make sure every detail is confirmed directly with the carrier, not just the broker. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company

My daughter had an event occur with her Jeep Cherokee back in July where the transmission appeared to lock out in first gear causing near redline rpm's as she completed her drive to work on Rt 130. I took a chance and limped her car over to Precision. It didn't misbehave for me on that 4-5 mile trip. Despite being completely swamped and indicating they couldn't even look at the car for at least a week, the woman running the front of the business was kind enough to come out and scan the transmission for codes to see if we could identify an issue. No codes and symptoms were absent. We agreed it didn't make sense to leave it with them. She didn't charge me a cent for her time spent in scanning and just generally strategizing with me about what to do. We recently moved on from that car and the issue never did resurface. I'll never forget the patience and kindness that was extended to me that day. This shop is clearly run by good people. Honest, hardworking, and willing to help you. They quoted us a price which we had to finance and said car will be done in a few days. We had to rent a car while waiting for the rebuild. On 6 occasions we were promised the car was done. Earlier this month we were told it would be completed by next morning. My daughter's boyfriend took a uber from his home in Philadelphia to arrive at the shop only to find out the used trans they put in once again does not work. It is now December 10th and fingers crossed the car is promised to be finished tomorrow but we have heard that song before. This transmission, Ubers and car rentals for 2 months have cost us THOUSANDS! When we asked for a discount since we inconvenienced while they tried to put a square peg in a round hole for 2 months, we were told they cannot discount. Oddly enough, I used to work for Aamco Corp Office and that is false info. BUYER BEWARE! Completely unprofessional, lack of communication and honest customer service. They said that was fine but then hit me with a $200 diagnostic fee--something they never mentioned upfront. If they had told me from the beginning, I could have made an informed choice, but instead, I was blindsided by the charge. Just a heads-up for anyone considering taking their car here--make sure to ask about hidden fees before agreeing to anything. Transparency matters, and unfortunately, I didn't get that experience here.

Finally that morning he came by. Told us the issues and told us what parts to get. We paid him $250 to buy the parts and $200 in labor. Not only did he get junked parts but none of them were good. I asked him to at least refund us for the money we paid in the parts. So he stopped responding. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. He took our car parts and sold them for cash and our car still isn't running. We've had to have another mechanic take a look and begin to work on the car. This was a very unpleasant experience I wish on no one.
