I was expecting about maybe a weeks wait for the new one to be installed these guys had me driving in TWO DAYS. Car runs better than it did before I can't say enough about these guys. God forbid I need another transmission but if I do I know where I'm going.

They were recommended to me by Don's Auto on Girard who I have been seeing for almost 2 decades, and I understand why, as these guys are very much the epitome of professionalism.

They quoted us a price which we had to finance and said car will be done in a few days. We had to rent a car while waiting for the rebuild. On 6 occasions we were promised the car was done. Earlier this month we were told it would be completed by next morning. My daughter's boyfriend took a uber from his home in Philadelphia to arrive at the shop only to find out the used trans they put in once again does not work. It is now December 10th and fingers crossed the car is promised to be finished tomorrow but we have heard that song before. This transmission, Ubers and car rentals for 2 months have cost us THOUSANDS! When we asked for a discount since we inconvenienced while they tried to put a square peg in a round hole for 2 months, we were told they cannot discount. Oddly enough, I used to work for Aamco Corp Office and that is false info. BUYER BEWARE! Completely unprofessional, lack of communication and honest customer service. They said that was fine but then hit me with a $200 diagnostic fee--something they never mentioned upfront. If they had told me from the beginning, I could have made an informed choice, but instead, I was blindsided by the charge. Just a heads-up for anyone considering taking their car here--make sure to ask about hidden fees before agreeing to anything. Transparency matters, and unfortunately, I didn't get that experience here.

Finally that morning he came by. Told us the issues and told us what parts to get. We paid him $250 to buy the parts and $200 in labor. Not only did he get junked parts but none of them were good. I asked him to at least refund us for the money we paid in the parts. So he stopped responding. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. He took our car parts and sold them for cash and our car still isn't running. We've had to have another mechanic take a look and begin to work on the car. This was a very unpleasant experience I wish on no one.
