For the price you can't beat this place. The steak and lobster are always good! It's not the Keg but for the price it's super good! Their gravy is delicious. This is my first time I've sat inside and the service was super attentive and friendly. The interior is cute but a little dark. I would say it's a great place to dine on a budget. read more

I am comfortable giving this 3 stars because you shouldn't be expecting top quality if you pick this place. It's kinda like a less expensive Appleby's. They have burgers and onion rings and all the usual stuff that they heat up in the back. I would have thought they would have more beer choices but the prices were fair. For a restaurant that is supposed to be good, I was and am very disappointed. I ordered their Steak and Lobster special. 1) Cannot upgrade the steak you may order a larger steak and add a Prawn Tail (very small tail for a lobster) costing much more then the difference in the cost of meat. 2) again a Prawn sized Lobster Tail. 3) the baked potato was like the lobster tail, severely undersized for a baked potato, and dried out as well. 4) the server was very polite and helpful, however the management and kitchen needs to be replaced in my opinion. read more

Food here was quite decent for the price, for the most part... We had some Nachos and thank goodness we had a coupon for a Free Starter otherwise I would have been a lot more upset when what I feel confident calling the most poorly topped nachos I have ever seen in a restaurant came out. They were atrocious. I actually thought they forgot to put cheese on them but later we did find a evidence of splashes of 7-11 cheese sauce spatters on the outer edges of the tray. I ordered the 8oz Ribeye. When it came out I had to return it as although I ordered it medium rare it came out slightly more than well done. Luckily when they did bring the correctly prepared steak it was quite good. Like quite good. It came with a grilled mini cob of corn and a baked potato which was cold on the inside but not bad. I paid to have all I could eat Caesar Salad added to my meal and that thing was huge!!! It was very nice and garlicky would for sure get this again, well worth the $4. So I know that this place just opened and you need to expect to have some patience but our server was sub-par at best. We were seated before everyone in our section but she took everyone's orders first and I actually had to wave her down and tell her we wanted to order cause we had waited so long. I had 1 pound rib eye My wife had the t-bone My kids had : mega BELT, mushroom melt and buffalo chicken quesadilla I don't usually order steak cause of price but I came here to eat steak because it was such a good price. I can't honestly give a appropriate comparison because of my lack of steak eating experience but I thought even at Well Done it was very good. Yes at $20 per person is $100 seems like alot but you can spend $20 at McDonalds and not get quality food and or be sick afterwards. If I had to say anything bad it would be the fries were warm not hot and since I am a big eater the 1 pound steak (biggest they offer) left me still hungry. Driving by and saw this place. Popped in for lunch...kinda wish I hadn't. Our server was friendly and efficient, the ambiance was ok ..the let down is the food. I ordered the chipotle pulled pork. Zero chipotle flavour, pork was dried out and inedible in sections, very small portion size of pork (which in the case was a good thing). Onion rings on top were overcooked and burnt rendering them inedible. Partner had French Dip style sandwich...which said it came on an onion bun (it did not), with horseradish sauce (none was found). he said the jus for dipping was good. Saving grace for him was the $6.50 Caesar Totally disappointed...wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible that's all I think when I think of chucks roadhouse. The severs are a mess. I know they just opened up but wow I have never seen service like this. There was a 15 min waiting list for seats not the end of the world. We were then seated and waited for our sever. She showed up about 10 minutes after seating. We placed our order for drinks and appetizer as we weren't sure when we would see her again. The nachos came out dropped off by another server not our waitress and they were the worst nachos I have ever seen. If it wasn't for their coupon for a free appetizer I would have returned them. There was no cheese and not enough salsa and sour cream. We hadn't Sen our sever in quite some time we were ready for more drinks and to place our entree. She then took orders for a table that was sat after us and came to us about 5 min later. We then asked for more sour cream and salsa for our nachos she brought it out about 7 minutes later. A little to late in my opinion. Our entrees came out in good time but dropped off by a random sever not our server. We ordered a couple steaks both medium rare one came out perfect the other was well done. We returned it and she gave us attitude. The meals were decent and the cost is very affordable but the service is horrendous. I don't think I would return to this location for a while until they get their kinks worked out. Found a very large piece of plastic in my dinner. Michelle the manager and a veteran of 15 years in the business called our entire table miserable and said that she didn't care that we found plastic in the meal. There is no plastic in the line where the food is prepped. Told me that she felt threatened by me raising my voice so she wasn't going to deal with us. She pointed out how generous she was to us by comping the appetizer we found the plastic in. Not one single apology. Btw we didn't talk to her when this happened because she walked away from our table as we were also questioning the incorrect meal that was brought out to us. We talked to her AFTER we paid the bill. Went there for lunch. Got the rib and wing combo and 40 minutes later got the worst ribs and wings I've ever had in a restaurant. Ribs were frozen ribs reheated(if they weren't I'd have to see them cooked fresh before I'd begin to believe that) my buffalo wings had a barbecue sauce on them, not buffalo at all. Even the gravy for my fries had zero flavour. Took forever. Food was bad. Price was WAY too high for what I got. Service was great and I think the server was even embarrassed at how long it took to cook our food. First time going here and it was fab! I honestly didn't expect much for the low price point but was pleasantly surprised by how it all turned out to be. We had between us a huge 20 oz steak, literally the biggest thing I've ever seen,bacon cheeseburger, a pulled pork sandwich, roast beef dinner, buckaroo, calamari, nachos with chilli and pulled pork and a Montreal meat sandwich. The Montreal sandwhich was mine and I was knocked out of my socks by how much I actually enjoyed it. It comes with mustard but with ketchup, pickle and mayonnaise it just becomes my food fever dream, SO GOOD. Definitely request pickles and mayonnaise with it! The pulled pork is also nice with the nachos. I didn't try any of the other foods other than the buckaroo but from what I heard everybody could not stop to lift their faces from their meals and the conversation between us died as soon as our foods came out, gobbled up so quick and no regrets! The buckaroo dessert pastry is a nice ending to a meal but make sure you leave yourself room, my one regret was that I couldn't have fit more of it ! The place was great and honestly I am impressed that food could still be that good at that price point because usually we would hit up the Keg for steaks but their prices are easily double to triple what we ended up having paid and I feel the servers there always end up going missing once you get your stuff, where here we had our server checking in with us anytime a drink was empty not more than 5 minutes. I'd go again any time I'm around the area, I know there's others of these restaurants in other towns but haven't come across one until we stopped by the Hamilton one. called from parking lot of establishment to place an order and was told to call back in 30 minutes as they were swamped with full patio and line up at door and 9 drivers inside waiting to pick up orders, meanwhile i could see there was no line up and only 2 tables being used at patio, so went inside to see that there were only 5 people waiting. saw waitress yelling at the cook, heard from other customer that manager had stormed out about 45minutes earlier. finally gave my order and was told would be 30 to 45 minutes. ordered 2 of the 10 oz steak dinners, one well done with mashed potatoes, one med done with fries, $16. each, and full rack rib dinner $20. told would take 30 to 45 minutes, so waited in car and went back in at 30 minutes and dinners were already packed. they tried to charge me $82. and i said to show me the bill because it was too much money. here they were charging me for the steak and lobster dinners at $25. each. they fixed the bill because it was not what i ordered and told me to keep the lobster since it was their mistake. got home to find there was no lobster in neither dinner, was not the 10 oz steak, was much smaller, steaks were mixed up as far as the well done one was with the fries instead of the mashed potatoes and all the food was ice cold! worst experience ever! never ever go to this place, they should not even be in business! read more
