The quality of the meat is fantastic and I love that they are a local, family run operation. The lady who visits the farmer's market is friendly and always remembers us. She is great at giving suggestions on cuts of meat or new items to try, as well as recipe or preparation ideas. If you have the opportunity to support these guys, please do! Not only is the meat very good, but you're keeping your dollar in the local economy and supporting a nice family too!

We buy every year and take it to Los Angeles for an annual Utah Pot Roast Party for our neighborhood. We get people calling in Aug to see when the party will be for that fall. We have 50 to 70 people and they all claim the pot roast is the best in the world. Several have tried to make the same with Don's rub and local meat with admitted failure. Just going in and talking with Don and his wife is a treat in itself with the plus of knowing you are going to get the best meat in the world.

The woman is really rude she doesn't want to be there and she doesn't want you to be there either, the dogs were friendly. This time he wasn't available because he and his were "going into town in the morning" how can you be a butcher and not be open or available during a hunting season? Not only did they blend, or give me the jackass that slaughtered his deer with 7shots, ( mind you , i shot my deer at 86 yards, never took a step. Which means it would have no adrenaline in it. Soooooo, not only did I get sour meat, it as only wrapped in butcher paper, thin butcher paper...work butcher I have ever been to. So, you "locals "that swear by the "cowboy" that could care less about a deer that cost me over 1500 bucks.......think again.......i was hunting there this year with a friend, I told him the story, we kept on driving.......mind you I kill 3 deer and 2 elk a year.
