I've lived in Utah county for the last 7 years, and for the last 4, I had not found a acupuncturist that could provide me the level of attention and service that I could in LA. When I would travel to LA, I would see an acupuncturist in Koreatown or in Southern Pasadena, in the same complex as the Pasadena Huntington Hospital and Medical Center. I went to 4…read moredifferent doctors and nothing they recommended or prescribed helped:( I decided to just try this place because after a year, I was desperate to stop being in pain and putting into my body prescriptions that weren't even helping. Yes, this place isn't like your average clinic. It is dirty, cluttered-- basically I felt like I was in China. The doctor didn't really speak the best English so she had a translator there. After the initial health questionnaire, they finally took me to the back room where she placed just 4 needles in my body-- I was pretty skeptical at this point. After she placed the needle she left and would come in every 10 min for 30 min to dig the needles in a little deeper- then I was done. She said it'll take 6 treatments. But honestly I didn't go back in for a second treatment because the first treatment WORKED!! I didn't experience another headache or stomach pains for over the next 6 months. I paid about $120 for the first treatment, $60 for the initial health intake and $60 for the actual acupuncture. Worth it to me.
