I've always had a good experience at the Chucks in Princeton, and I'm not clear if they're related, but my experience here was terrible. I ordered 30 wings, jalapeño poppers and a shrimp entree w/ onion rings. Aside from the fact that all the sides were cheapo frozen items, my order arrived with only two small blue cheese containers, the type that cover maybe 5 wings. I had 30 for a group. Even if it was for two people, nowhere near enough. I know that is harsh for a review but wings is their thing and sauce is cheap. I also ordered shrimp w/onion rings and tartar sauce. They included cocktail sauce instead of tartar, and the cocktail sauce was rancid. Congealed, solidified, leaking oil all over all my food and stunk. Ruined all the food I ordered. I called the restaurant and they feigned not understanding what my issue was so I didn't bother and hung up. Waste of time and $60! Edited after eating- wings were dry, barely any flavor, and the blue cheese they provided was watered down with RANCH. Dill an everything. Jalapeño poppers were under cooked with unmelted cheese in the center. Honestly such a strange experience. If this is the same owners as the original chucks in Princeton, this has REALLY gone downhill. read more

Grabbed dinner from here tonight. First, some positives! I was impressed by the prices, which were extremely reasonable, and my wings were prepared very quickly. Each wing was adequately sized too (nothing worse than ordering wings and getting a pile of bones!). All of that being said, the wings were only OK flavor-wise. Not terrible, but not great either. The cashier was not wearing a mask, and he was pretty brazen about it - I didn't see a mask anywhere near him, so I kind of assume he never wears one. Not a huge deal to me on a personal level since I'm (thankfully!) fully vaccinated, but it's definitely not a good look. I probably won't be back here. read more

Best wings in the area....and I'm from Buffalo! Wings in Buffalo do not have breading or a sauce, per se. They are more seasoned and not as messy. Anyway, if you don't care about ambience and good service...come here for wings. Guys behind counter can be rude and it may take longer than they say. Also, seating is not good. Order takeout!! The food is DELICIOUS but the staff are rude and standoffish. Chuck's has been my family's go-to place for wings since I was a little girl and I always recommend Chuck's wings over any other wing stop. If you don't care about the service but want great food, come here. If you're looking for an overall great experience, maybe this isn't the place for you. I always get the buffalo and BBQ mixed wings. They sell their ranch and blue cheese in larger containers and both are SO GOOD. I completely agree with the previous poster that the "blue cheese" dressing is watered down ranch/dill etc. This is not the same owners as the Princeton location. I placed my order over the phone and they told me 15 mins. I showed up 20 mins later and they just started my order when I arrived. read more

I ordered food on Grubhub and it did arrive on time. I opened my platter and was pissed off. My fries was not cooked completely. My tuna shells was hot. Now it's 94 degrees why would you put tuna shells inside a platter with hot food that has to be delivered? Unbelievable‼ Now just 4 weeks ago I went to Chucks Cafe on Rt33. I ordered the same thing. The cook has the most nastiest attitude ever. He basically tossed my food at me and was rude. The owner got up and apologized to me. Listen.... the cook will ruin this business eventually. I moved away from NJ many years ago. I was visiting recently and made it a point to order wings to go from Chuck's for a group. Man do I miss Chuck's! When I was younger my brother would bring Chuck's back from princeton and they were my favorite food for most of my adolescence. The location in princeton has changed hands over the years and the consistency has been off for longer then I can remember. When pulling out of Dunkin in Hamilton we noticed a sign and gave it a try. Turns out they have been here the whole time and sold that location over 20 years ago. The wings were great and very similar to my memories. Some may feel the wings are a little small. Personally I'd rather have flavor and not feel like I'm biting into some loaded with hormone unnaturally gigantic bird wing. The flavor was there in my opinion and much like I remember it. Food is great but the customer service sucks at this location. There is a location in Trenton and they treat you much better there. I walked in to get my food and I told the man at the front my order. Which mind you he was playing a game on him phone and didn't look me in my eyes until he looked up in a irritated manner and just said can you go tell the people in the back.... so I go around and try to get someone's attention and they are all avoiding making eye contact with me because they don't speak English. Which the man in the front obviously would have known. So after that one older man comes from the back and yells to the man in the front asking him what I ordered (speaking another language). He then proceeds to tell him anyway what I ordered! Mind you I called in my order and he said 15 minutes. I got there in ten then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes in the restaurant while the man proceeded to play games on his phone.
