Before you could park your car, walk the flight-line, pick out a plane and deal as you would buying a new Ford or Chevrolet. The folks at VAB have obviously brought the used airplane business out of the dark ages and into NOW. The internet has clearly changed everything and it's great to see VAB on top of their game in all of this. I believe the fact they are off-airport is a benefit as they can concentrate on business (selling planes) and avoid all the coffee shop hangar talk that takes a lot of time (yes is fun) but eats up the day.

This Boeing in particular is located near LAX. The company spans across a few blocks in this area and has many buildings. These buildings are not accessible to the public but can be observed from the outside - likely for confidentiality, similar to most company offices. It's interesting seeing the company that builds many of the airplanes seen used in LAX. Its location is quiet and near other companies like Raytheon and Aerospace, and is more so for workers. Overall, while this isn't a place I'd go out of my way to go to, I appreciate the work that goes on in there.
