KR muffler is a decent shop in the area, though they are a little bit overpriced at times compared to other shops I've found. Apart from my experience, my parents mentioned to me that they were ripped off for a repair in the past and were given a hard time by the owner. I guess it probably depends on each shop's specialty on what you need repaired. I've only been here for welding and muffler service. Convenience-wise, I think they're a good local shop in Whittier if you need muffler service and welding. Labor is $69/hr and pricing for parts can be a bit more expensive, so you might also consider shopping around.
