Today October 21 Monday I Ordered the Food deal #5 and it came out hot as usual and it was good. There's 2 soft drink machines and both have mold growth visible around the ice dispenser. Needs to be deep cleaned. Mentioned it to the Mr. Technical manager on duty to be aware of it. He did end up cleaning the outside of the machines while I was still there and he had no problem and thanked me for letting him know. The play area for the children is not quite toddler friendly. There can be a few more toddler friendly equipment added to play on like a small slide can be a nice add on. Run down and not up to date. Dave the asst manager had a nasty attitude. We entered at 825pm while he was on smoke break. We close in 30 he said and I thanked him. Entered the building the woman cleaning went to the back. So we waited a maybe 3 mins or so for Dave to enter. Proceeded to have nasty attitude and said you know you only have 30mins Yes why does it matter how we use our passes ? If you close at 9pm then what exactly are we doing wrong here. Some passes are an hour and some are 30 mins ‍. I asked him why work here and with kids if you feel this way Already 4 game are my working. My kids are 7 and 3 and they love it. My 7 year old loves the animatronic. We come 1-2x a month. Good spot and cheap with the monthly pass.

Between being sick and a rained out bday party we decided to move my daughters party to Chuck E. Cheese (very last minute, booked under 24 hours). And with an autistic child.. Let's just say, this was the best thing that happened. First the price was unmatched with all the amount of activities, food, goodies in general. Unmatched. Cost to fun ratio was less then the original party cost I had calculated. Second the staff was amazing! From timing to patience and kindness, I have never had a more beautiful experience throwing a bday party. When it came to explaining the entire process to my 6 year old they just were amazing, Jada was our host and man did they really bring the best attitude and create a welcoming atmosphere. My child was so scared to do the ticket catcher, and Jada helped make her feel safe and brave. Truly I am so thankful for this establishment. They took such a hectic day filled with anxiety and made an amazing experience for my child. I will be back! read more

We've been here multiple times and my daughter always has a lot of fun. Today however there were two reasons I am writing this review. First of all, the whole place stunk. It smelled like mold / sewage throughout the entire building. And the carpet was all wet. Not sure if they have some sort of leaking issue. Also at one point when Chuck e cheese was supposed to come out, my daughter stood waiting and waiting and he never showed. But mostly we were disappointed at this one older lady that worked there. First of all, she more than half the time didn't have her mask on at all, and she never ever had it over her nose. She also just had no customer service at all. She wasn't friendly, was very abrasive, wasn't kid friendly, and just, overall wasn't great to deal with. When we were looking at prizes she came over and didn't even say a word, just stared at me with her hand out until I handed her the card. Then she continued to interrupt my daughter when she was trying to discuss which items she wanted, she also kept trying to ask her if she wanted items that cost additional money which kept confusing my daughter. She wasn't at all friendly towards her or myself. It made the overall experience disappointing. My daughter still has a good time overall but the lack of service definitely tainted it for us adults. Which was especially disappointing since we had come for my daughters birthday for an extra special day. read more

I don't know when the last time was that I visited a Chuck E Cheese...20 years perhaps...but my daughter held a birthday party here for Addy her daughter, our granddaughter. All of her friends showed up...!!! The most positive aspect that I truly appreciated was the security measures that regulate entry and exit from the establishment...no missing kids...!!! The party was held in its own table section, all prepared with balloons, party bags, pizza and drinks for the kids. Our server, James...was awesome. He took charge and engaged all the kids, keeping them all active, happy and having a real fun time. The ride and game area takes tokens...we had a huge supply of them so every sat kid was able to play and ride everything...and Chuck E himself visited and played with the kids. For the adults, there was pizza and drinks, and a salad bar. I enjoyed myself and my plate never was empty...LOL. I don't recall any of the partys or other family events we had at any chuck E Cheese when my kids were smaller, ever having such a fun time. I'm certain my daughter paid through the nose for this party, but as best I can tell, it was a success. Good lordy-lordy i was TRICKED into delivery-ordering the worst pizza I've had in at least a decade. I got a GrubHub coupon for a discount for Pasqually's Pizza & Wings. During the corno virus isolation we've been trying places we never tried before, eagerest to support local companies not chains. If we're ever liberated from this Isolation Era, we may end up with several places to visit we might never have noticed otherwise. We'd never heard of Pasqually's. So we ordered the pizza. Since the discount only applied with wings, we figured, what the hey, we'll get the wings for the dogs (we're mostly vegetarian ourselves). There was a choice of how the wings were prepared so we marked the box "plain" the way the dogs prefer them. So the pizza arrives. What a miserable awful thing it was. AND IT HAD NO PIZZA SAUCE! Apparently they saw the word "plain" marked for the chickenwings and decided to make the pizza "plain (without sauce)" as the receipt describes it. The chicken wings on the other hand were slathered in sugar sauce (they call it BBQ) pretty much ruining it for the dogs. I tried one. It was like a hunk of the world's worst candy it was so much sugar. Gag! Oh, and they weren't even chicken wings. They were like McNuggets except soaked in syrup until they develop the texture of gummy bears. So, awful cheese bread instead of pizza (which the corporation weirdly calls "a premium pizza" when admitting they don't expect anyone with a lick of sense to want a regular Chuck E Cheese pizza), and gummy bears made of processed chicken and sugar. What a positively horrible meal for EITHER the humans or the dogs in the house. Boy was I ticked off, too. I tried to find out more about Pasqually's Pizza in Silverdale but there wasn't one. What the heck? No wonder I hadn't heard of it! It doesn't exist! It's Chuck E Cheese fooling people into buying food we already knew had very little chance of being better than the rubbish they feed children at that place. The separate delivery service helps disguise the source. And "Pasqually's" has a separate (national) website so you cannot detect the fraud. A quick google finds many "warnings" even from major news services "If you want to support local independent restaurants, take care you're not actually ordering from a corporate rat named Chuck E. I have so much to say about this Chuck E. Cheese! Firstly: the staff was amazing! So nice! So accommodating! So quick! So sweet! And professional. I have never thrown a party at an establishment like this but I will again because of this experience. It was carefree, clean and well managed. The woman working out party was blindsided by a call out and managed to run ( smoothly and successfully) 3 party's at the same time. Mine had 19 kids and adults to match, the others where equally sized and she killed it! My child has autism and I had such a smooth environment for them I couldn't be more thankful. All the parents where so pleased and comfortable. Genuinely consider having your kids party here. They allow you to decorate over what they provide and they didn't botch my cake!! Not to mention they where sooooo thorough on safety for the kids while there. read more

It's been awhile since I had a reason to go to Chuck E. Cheese regularly, but enjoy that Silverdale offers this form of entertainment to children. It's a pleasant place to spend a few hours for what could be a small amount of money. This location might be smaller than some I have been to in the past, but still seems to have plenty of things to do. I enjoy that it's free to enter and you only pay for what you spend inside. It also has a spacious parking lot. I also really like that they have the entrance/exit staffed and that they give you matching black light stamps with the child you come in with as an added form of security. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the token machine took credit cards and that all machines only cost a quarter. Almost everything was in working order and a technician was walking around and double checking everything while I was there. I was happy to find a variety of machines that gave you printed pictures as a souvenir of your visit. There were also things that appealed to both toddlers and older children. I would have preferred some pinball myself. The ticket counting machine was also nice and kept me from having to do math. Although as can be expected the prizes are not that great and require a ton of tickets. Chuck E. came out a few times while I was there and did a little dance and then made it rain additional tickets for those in attendance. The buffet was reasonably priced at 5.99$. It had a small salad bar and some unusual pizza like ones with macaroni and cheese or spaghetti and meatballs. I have had nothing but good experiences at this location. The service and food are usually great. Tonight however was anything but. First the pizza we ordered took forever to come and then it was barely cut to where we had to ask for a knife to cut it. The service was super slow, they were busy so it was understandable. However, what isn't okay was ignoring customers and being rude. Basically every step of the night we had to wait for someone to help us while workers just looked at us ignored us. When we went to use our tickets at the end of the night the lady (looked like a manager of some kind) was very rude and not understanding. Every time we've come they have accepted our ticket coupons from online no problem. This time she would not take them and she told us to go get in line which was basically out the door so they could be entered in the system. We had been there for a while and just wanted to leave so that wasn't going to work. When we used our tickets she wouldn't pay attention to us and kept walking away and wouldn't answer our questions. So I've now been to a few different Chuck E Cheese locations. This one is somewhat smaller than the others, but as the supervising adult that's kind of nice. I can keep an eye on the kiddo easier. The pizza here was greasy, but somewhat less "bleh" than the other locations. Maybe the grease is the key to the flavor? Though there are fewer games and such than other locations, more games seemed to be in working order here. Upon serving our pizza, our service rep or something along those lines, introduced himself and told me to let him know if anything wasn't working. When one game at a token he quickly got us some extras and started working on fixing it. He even found us to let us know when it was done. This is the smallest Chuck E Cheese EVER! Don't get me wrong, I will still bring my daughter here because she loves it and it does it's job on rainy days, but there are bigger better ones out there. The place is never full and you can always find a table. The fact that it is small can be a good thing if you want to watch your child the entire time. It is also a good place to start taking kids that are Mommy or Daddy dependent. It is small enough that the won't feel overwhelmed and they would be able to find Mom and Dad pretty quickly. For me, I have a 4 year old social butterfly who doesn't care to have us at her side all the time so we find it easier to sit at our table and let her do her own thing.... she comes to us when she needs more tokens ;-) We had a party there this year and I was very under whelmed by the lack of enthusiasm out "party host" had during the time with Chuck E. It is Chuck E Cheese. Everything takes a token, half the things give a ticket or tickets, and the prizes are super cool... if you're a kid. If you have kids and you want to do theme park lite, it's all they need, games, bright colors, 'good' pizza, prizes, and a mouse to have their picture taken with. The crowd varies depending on how many local birthdays there are. The kids seem to love the crowd. The best part is the kid check. The employees always seem to really check to make sure the right kid leaves with the right adult. read more

Had a birthday party for eight kiddos and their parents. We ordered the super mega pack which was an awesome deal. Each kid got two pieces of pizza, a re-usable Character cup, dippin dots ice cream, A party bag full of goodies and a pass for two hours of unlimited play time. The birthday boy got a sign with his name and age on it and a play pass band. He also got a turn in the ticket blaster machine! The staff was amazing. It was a crazy busy afternoon and they still went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. They set up the tables with balloons, table cloths and provided plates, napkins and utensils. They sang happy birthday to the birthday boy and he got to take pictures with Chuck E. For fellow parents you know the fear that follows "Mommy can we go to Chuck E Cheese's?". You wonder will it be clean, how about unsupervised children running around, is the food even edible?! But believe it or not Silverdale Chuck E Cheese's is doing it right. I am one of those parents who refuse to go to CEC on a weekend. I can't stand the noise or crowds. So we go when they open on a Monday/Tuesday to avoid both. It is very clean and the staff is super friendly. While it is smaller than some of the other CECs, all the games/rides worked while we visited. The food- Try to get a combo with your tokens, you save money and it is pretty well worth it. The pizza wasn't great, but my kids ate it. I wasn't sure what tasted off about it, but it just was gross to me. I will stick to the salad bar which was plentiful and fresh! The games- They all worked and if anything did happen to eat a coin, the staff was quick to replace the coin and look at the machine. They don't have a ton of machines though and if you are a fan of winning lots of tickets, it won't happen here. Some of the other stores have more ticket winning machines and these ones you were lucky to get 7-10 tickets even with high scores. You are better of buying the toys at the trade in than trying to win them with tickets. But if you are like me you don't go to buy a toy, you go for the kids and their fun. Safety-Back in the old days CEC was kind of shady. It wasn't somewhere as a parent I would feel safe to bring my kids. Today though safety is of huge concern and they do a lot to make parents and children feel safe. As you go in your children and you are stamped with a number code in blacklight glow ink. You can't see it until it is under a blacklight which they check on the way out to make sure you aren't leaving with anyone you shouldn't. This is GREAT. They also have an abundance of cameras which also makes you feel a bit more secure. But NOTHING can replace an alert parent, so please remember to at least check on your kids now and then. I will be the first to admit, I bring a book and get comfortable. But I also only give out two-five tokens at a time insuring my kids have to come back every few minutes so I can make sure they are following rules like not running, being friendly, taking turns and not yelling or being loud. I will go here again and again, as often as my sanity will permit that is. We brought along grandma who was amazed at how different they are. Anyone who walked in the old CEC on Tacoma Mall Blvd, this is NOTHING like those old days. read more

The terrible experience my wife and I had at this place completely embarrassed my family. Took an hour for my daughters BDay party pizzas to arrive and so did our guests orders. and their game machines needed to be refilled with tickets, and ticket blaster for Birthdays was broken (waited for 30 minutes). On top of this, the manager, PRESTON, can't take responsibility for anything wrong with his location. I hope Corporate re-evaluates PRESTON's ability to be in any leader role with the franchise. This place was an absolute joke. Completely disorganized, like they didn't know how to handle Birthday Parties and large crowds what so ever. I ordered A Salad and the young lady working there didn't give me one of their plastic salad plates, so I used one of the plates supplied by the part we were having.... I got looked at like I was stealing their Salad, Which was another huge disappointment. Their "Salad Bar" was being neglected, there was hardly any Iceberg Lettuce just Romaine, and they were completely out of Ranch. We also ordered fries, but that turned into an entire miscommunication leading to us being served cold fries, so we complained. After complaining we were given someone elses order, that included chicken nuggets, and a side of mandarin oranges that were soggy, nasty, and looked spoiled. If that weren't enough, i tried to order a beer and waited in line for 15 minutes before asking for the manager (Which is the only person that can serve the alcohol) and an employee looked at me and said "Sorry i'm on break you will have to ask someone else" ... This entire facility was a joke compared to the TACOMA CHUCK E CHEESE... which is really sad in my opinion. Avoid this place, go spend your hard earned money on a REAL birthday facility. DO NOT GO TO THIS CHUCK E. CHEESE!!! PARENTS BEWARE! One star is being nice. I bring my family to CEC often in California often and this is our first and last experience in Washington. I brought my family and extended family in today for my daughter's birthday. First they ran out of the small cakes then forgot our cake all together. The employees did not seem to know what they were doing and the manager wasn't much better but she did refund the price of the forgotten cake. We had to ask three times for help with the ticket exchange counter and finally the rudest girl, ALLISON came to the counter. SHE THREW THE PRIZE AT MY DAUGHTER! Unbelievable! Usually, my experience is okay here but tonight was not the case.I was ignored while FOUR team members stood around and talked, blatantly ignoring me. Seriously, you've got to be crazy to work here, but these people genuinely seem to enjoy their job and are committed to making your experience a good one. The pizza is always consistently good. I appreciate that they offer alcohol! Their salad bar is also good --- would love it if they offered chilled plates instead of styrofoam for the salad bar. Has anyone been here lately? This is not the CEC I remember. Dang- their pizza was actually really good and as soon as we stepped in the door with my daughter and her 5 friends- all was taken care of. They had the best 3 hrs and I had to do nothing! I got to visit with the moms and they called the kids over for every part of the party-- and what was included in the basic package was plenty-- those kids had tons of pizza and coins and Chuck E made sure mom had a chance to take pics of the bday girl blowing out her cake and a big hug from him etc etc. I have had so may parties- at my house, at the museum, at the bounce place-- all for well over 200 dollars-- this was under $100 and got a cake from costco for $18 was an awesome experience.... man, these employees were so helpful... I do not think any establishment around here has such great customer service.. sounds weird, I know- but we had the best time- they took such good care of us read more
