This store seemed smaller to me compared to some of the other ones I have been. They still have the arcade playing area and the separate party area in the back. This one appears to be old as well, little dark and gloomy. We got a new card tokens for $50 that was good to play go about 45 minutes. The reward tickets were deposited back in the same card. Most of the arcade games were functional. All of them were somewhat close to each other. The food pick up and soda dispenser were right in front of arcade area. The staff members were good. They ensured all parents took pictures with their kids when entering and showing it when leaving. They also helped us with getting the puck for air hockey. They always monitored the arcade floor to keep it clean and organized. read more

This Chuck E Cheese is located by Hudson Mall Jersey City. It's relatively small compared to the Paramus location. Once you enter, they ask you to take a group selfie. Then you can add money to the game cards on kiosks or at the counter. A section for birthday party at the back and a dance floor. At certain time the mascot will come out and interact with customers. Games and small rides for kids. Trampoline gym. Many tables and seats for customers to eat or rest. Food is the typical fast food. I didn't try it but I'm sure they are ok. Overall clean and easy to go around. Bathroom is clean. A good spot for family fun. read more

This place has really gotten an upgrade. Many of the locations have down so. They still have their lil salad bar and good ole pizza. You still have to identify that you are with the child, now with a selfie when you walk in, as the staff instructs you to do so. The music is kid friendly. This is one nice Chucky Cheese, clean and bright. It's a bit smaller than most but it's just right. my family and I went on a Thursday at 11am and it was the perfect time, there were only 3 other sets of families there. More kids started coming in at 12ish, but we left before the rush. $20 for 80 tokens.. and most games took 1 token, so that was great. I saw other families eating and the food looked good. Okay so positives first. a) It's neat and clean in compare to others b) customer service is not bad either c) Their sitting arrangement is scattered all around so depending on your preferences/you can sit anywhere. Negatives- a) Its smaller and thus gets too crowded specially in weekends. b) They have adjusted machines so you will get max 4 tickets. Who doesn't love this place??? This place is freaking amazing!! So much fun for kids or adults that are kids at heart, like myself. There are tons of games to play and teaches kids how to be competitive. Games are only one token each which is an amazing deal. I was able to find a coupon from snip snap for $20 for 100 tokens and it lasted 3 hours, where else can you have this much fun for so cheap?! They have a huge space for the party area for kids birthdays. The tables are nice and long and can fit about 15-20 people per table. They have their basic food primarily convenient for kids like pizza, fries, tenders and a salad station for those who want to be healthy. This is definitely the nicest, cleanest , friendliest Chuck E Cheese that I have ever been to! Haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese in ages! This is a new location that just opened up in my hood. They do offer their typical pizza, but now even added a salad bar. Pizza is as good, ahem bad as I remembered. They got games, oh plenty of games. Since the place is newly opened, the games aren't as "greasy" with soda and pizza prints as it will be in the near future. There's plenty of space for you to sit and relax. And of course Chuck E. I hosted a party there and it was worst experience. Tables were not set up until the time my party started, there was trash on floor everywhere. None of the host was there until the start of my party and I had to ask for that repeatedly to finalize details of my party. All of the food I ordered at the start of party was on my table in next 10 minutes despite of being told to bring it after 40 minutes (which is their own standard). On Being contacted the Manager (old arrogant man) told me that this is their norm that they serve food at the start of party (contradicting what I was told before booking the party and also what their other staff member told me). I was told food will be done in two batches and second batch will be given only after my confirmation, however that old grumpy man served that anyways and charged me because he mistakenly prepared the food. I was made to feel sorry for booking their middle package as if I have done some crime. As per him I should have taken their top most package. Such is the unprofessional-ism they show. "Rots from the top" - writing this review after a second experience (another occurred in 2021) by rude employees at this location, but this time the manager on duty was the perpetrator of mistakes and vileness etc; So I ordered wings (bone in), which he made a mistake of ringing up and putting in for boneless (even though we had a two minute conversation at the time about how they are back to serving bone-in, which were not available for months, due to COVID I presumed), so my order had to be redone (after first being told he would charge me $4 more now for bone-in, which he then self-corrected or realized he could not with any conscience do), but then the bone in wings they brought were down right inedible (pic attached); so I forced down a few of them as I had now waited well over an hour since the initial order. I can't remember asking for a food refund, so well over 10 years, but here I felt I should not pay for the wings, but was willing to pay for everything else (son's pizza, sodas and gametime) in spite of my inconvenience. But then the vitriol and fury came, when I asked for the refund on just the wings. I was told (after childlike panting, angry looks, like the nerve of me, followed by arguing or gas lighting the wings were not bad and that's how they always serve them, that they are baked and not fried, etc, so that's why they look and taste that way, etc (just look at my pic and let me know what you think) - The manager asserted I was already refunded my game time (another blundering, but angry misstatement, that when corrected by me, was met with silence, no apology) and that I was being charged less than I would have anyway, so I realize a few confusing refunds and recharges were made to my credit card, but I summed it all up saying "look, I'm willing to pay for everything other than the wings". My complaint here is the sub-par food quality combined with unnecessary mean-spiritedness. Just saying, find a good hearted nice person (even if somewhat lacking in ability) to be in charge. Why lie about the wings saying they were of good quality, in effect, debating my intentions, like I'm wrong for wanting to be able to eat the food I'm served and somewhat enjoy it. I went there randomly his past Monday night with a friend. I haven't stepped foot into one since 1984. I was surprised at the great customer service from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left. Outstanding actually. Better than most fine dining establishments. The pizza was still as good as I remembered & we got the unlimited salad bar. The prices were a bit more than I thought they should be, but heck I wasn't paying in 1984 so what do I know! Great customer service and the place was clean, didn't smell like a dirty diaper or anything! The bathroom wasn't spotless yet not as horrible as all the other locations which we've gone to. The only horrible part is that they should come up with a way when cashing out you're tickets (to get your prize) they should have a set line or something easier. This location is way too small and has a very bad layout. I visited here with my daughters and was overwhelmed by the bad service. There were many people standing around the registers but no one taking orders as the line went out the door. I finally got to the register and was interrupted at least 4 times by an employee asking the cashier/manager questions. The game room was mobbed, you could hardly make your way to the games. Of course our order took FOREVER! while I was waiting for it I filled out the survey on the receipt. Within 20 minutes I had the manager in my face basically accusing me of doing something wrong. I recently attended a birthday party for a 5 year old boy diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at this Chuck E. Cheese. I was beyond impressed with the measures that the staff took in order to meet the birthday boys' needs. They kept the lights on and they reduced the volume of music when Chuck E came out to wish him a happy birthday. There are so many places and people who claim to offer "autism friendly events" but they typically fall short. However, the Chuck E. Cheese on Rt 440 in JC did a fantastic job of offering professionalism and kindness to a very sweet little boy. read more

This Chuck E. Cheese is MUCH cleaner, quieter, and brighter than the Chuck E. Cheese's I remember from the 80s. I booked a group event here and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The kids all said they had a fantastic time, and the parents didn't look too frazzled. I would totally recommend this option to other PTAs looking to organize a half-day activity. Ok so the staff is very accommodating. However their policy is that if food is left on table too long, they come and take it. I had 1/2 a large pie and two drinks. I went to play with my son, and when I returned it was all gone. One of the assistant managers Vanessa did order me a new pie and Mark the Manager got me two more cups. I just arrived a few minutes ago at this Chuck E Cheeses. I came with my 3 and 5 year old nephew. I came when they opened (about 11:05) so they can have lunch and play and I can make it back for their nap. They ate breakfast extremely early so they could have pizza and boy are we disappointed. I go to order and they tell me they can't have any hot food (only the salad bar) because it's too early. They open at 11 (lunch time) and even on the board with the food it says they open at 11. I checked before I arrived, and it is posted on the door and menu that they open at 11. I had to walk my two nephews across the parking lot to Pizza Hut and promise to bring them back to play to keep them from feeling upset. Although Pizza Hut Pizza is better, I'm sure parents understand the entire experience of Chuck E Cheeses is for the kids to play while waiting for the pizza. I left one star because the young lady working at the door was friendly and because I can't really say how the rest of the experience was because we aren't there because the kids couldn't order food. Depending on the experience and the price difference after getting play points, maybe I'll change the review. For now, I am not happy trying to keep two playful kids calm in a dining room of a different restaurant when the plan was for them to be playing while we are waiting for their food. read more

We went this past Saturday at around 11 am and stayed until about 12:30 and were pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it was. I'm sure it gets much messier and also crowded later in the day, but when we were there with our 2 year old, there weren't many people there. When we first arrived there was a birthday party with maybe 10 kids aged 2 and under with their parents, and over time some other kids aged from about 2 to 10 trickled in, but there weren't a ton of much older/bigger kids that would keep our daughter away from the games and rides. All the tables and the floor were very clean; every machine gave tickets (usually they gave a maximum of 4 tickets no matter how well or poorly you performed); no machine ate our tokens; and the workers who greeted us at the entry turnstile and at the prize counter were young but friendly, alert, and responsive. We didn't eat or drink anything there but the food I saw others having looked fine, like what you'd expect and not worse. It was much much better than I thought it would be, in terms of space for our toddler and the functionality of the games/rides, and the service. We would definitely go back in the morning the next time we need an indoor entertainment space! read more

I was reluctant to write a review of "my" Chuck E. Cheese and let others know how good it is. But I have to give credit where credit is due. Over the last year my twin daughters have been to this location about a dozen times with my Mom, me, and/or our babysitter. We do usually go on weekday mornings when it is not especially busy. I have to admit that it is not the largest Chuck E. Cheese but that is fine with us and my girls never tired of going to this Chuck E. Cheese. It should be highlighted that it is very clean, the staff are always pleasant, and there are rarely broken games. Both the games and the bathrooms are clean, which is very important to me. If anything is broken, it gets quickly fixed. The food is decent. I would recommend that you check out the website before going because they always have coupons and specials going on. read more

Now me giving 2 stars is generous. I've gone here multiple times and never had a problem. Until my recent visit. I went twice this week once on Tuesday and again Saturday. I recognized the cashier from last time she was really nice, except today when I caught her in a lie and it was so petty. Last time I came here I had a coupon code to redeem some tickets, she didn't give me a problem Tuesday. When I went to redeem another coupon I had Saturday, a different person told me I couldn't do it unless I purchased food. So I told her what happened Tuesday. She said I would have to go talk to that same girl. So I go back to the cashier, and she told me the same thing, mind you she took it last time without me buying food, and I just bought $10 worth of food not even 10 minutes prior. She then told me she doesn't remember me from Tuesday or from earlier that I bought food. Also that she hasn't worked since last Saturday that's why she doesn't remember me. I'm like are you kidding me? I had to speak to two different other people to finally get them to just let me redeem my tickets. I also had to wait 20 minutes to get an ice cream because the machine was out of order. I only really go because my little brother enjoys it.
