Her friends stated that the pizza tasted like cardboard and the starry was not tasty either. Unfortunately this skate location has changed so much since my own childhood smh. But I will say the security was very nice and helpful, one even obtained some water for my daughter to help her cool off.

My daughter attended a birthday party here yesterday, and she had the BEST time. The staff was…read morevery nice, and the party was timed very well. All the the kids had a wonderful time skating. She was so excited, she now wants her own pair of roller blades. Yes, the rink and exterior around it could use a good paint job, and some of the furniture could use some updating. Overall, a great time was had by all, and I love the fact that this venue is local.

Any Excuse for a Party really flubbed the Verona Halloween event this year. There were 20 people…read morewaiting in line for the bounce house for 30 minutes and the staff shut it down and deflated it without warning, leaving dozens of screaming, crying kids in front of the ride with their shoes off and all ready to go. Josh, Scott, and their team had plenty of time to let people who were waiting know that the ride was shutting down, but the ride attendant just stood there on his phone the entire time. There was no warning before he locked up the ride and turned it off and a lot of kids who were waiting a half hour didn't get to go on the ride. Several parents pointed out the huge line of kids waiting but he just shrugged and walked away. We talked to the Verona police department, but they weren't able to do anything. We are planning to talk to Chris Tamburro and the rest of Verona Council next to make sure they're aware of the issue before they hire the company again. The staff were extremely rude, leading me to wonder if there's been a change in management at the company. I can't believe after building decades of good will in North Jersey that Tomianne would jeopardize all of that by hiring on staff that behaves like this. You can see how rude Josh is in the video. The staff on site would not listen to reason, wouldn't put a manager on the phone with me to resolve this and were just plain rude. All they had to do was turn the ride back on for a few minutes for a bunch of crying kids. It's crazy they wouldn't do that. I know a lot of local colleges and towns hire "Any Excuse...," but that won't keep happening once word gets out. There were a lot of really angry parents and sad children in line for the ride and this is now their impression of the company that they're going to take back to their organizations. Hopefully Tomianne will do the right thing and make some staffing changes to ensure this never happens again. I look forward to hearing how the company plans to address this issue.

The prices are extremely reasonable considering other camps charge anywhere from $500 and up for just a week, (ages 5 and up) where at VBS its $30 a week, yes I said $30 a week ($360 for 6 wks) from 9 am to 3pm after camp program available for $5 a day, breakfast, snack and lunch provided, you pay for field trips to places like the skating rink, medieval times, amusement parks and at the end the children have a beautiful surprise....bring your camera! With all this the staff is amazing headed by Mr. Carrington & Ms. Dawn LOVE them they definitely took care of my baby, its a safe environment for children to thrive an be active during the summer, and just with school you see growth mark my word you will see growth here as well, trust its worth it.......thanks VBS ;0)

The photos looked great and fit perfectly inside the party favor snow globes we have all the guest. The snow globe set up was super simple and the gentleman provided the upmost level of professionalism, answered all our questions, helped with last minute needs and did a great job working with the kids. Towards the end of the event, one child in particular was having a hard time, but the globe attendants helped calm him down and ensured the child got his photo taken. Great Job!

Bring a swim cap and lock for your locker. There never seems to be soap in the family bathroom, but it's nice to always have the heat on in the locker rooms. The pool also usually a warm temperature for the water.
