4 stars. Reason 1. It was my first time and it was stress free and practically empty at 2:30pm. My son was intimidated by some of the games at first but quickly warmed up to the games. 2 The price, I payed $22 for 88 tokens to play. I thought was a great value for my money. If you download the app you can get 100 tokens for $20, that's even better. The majority of the games use 1 token. So play can be endless and it felt that way. 3 The staff was nice and friendly. Even though there weren't many children, Chuck E came out and passed out additional tickets that were redeemable and he did his dance for the children to join in. It was about 8 children varying in ages. 4 The pizza Mmmmmm it was pretty good, hot and fresh. I only had the gooey cheese and it was delicious. My son ate the entire personal pizza. This was a shock to me but he was happy. The personal pizza was about $9 but if you download the app.... it's free. 5 It was clean The salad bar, this is where the last star fell short. Sighhh. It was disappointing to look at. I couldn't bare to snap a pic. There was so much good going on. I'd rather focus on the positive experience than complain about a salad bar. I would recommend Chuck E Cheese on a day like today Holy Thursday and I'm sure Good Friday wouldn't be as crowded as well. Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing, stress free day.

Chuck E. Cheese has a certain reputation...one that says Lysol your child head to toe once you leave... am I right? Well, knowing that and this being both my child AND my first trip to the franchise, I was pleasantly surprised. The facility is pretty clean. There were a handful of machines not giving tickets but with the amount of machines in there, it didn't seem like the end of the world to me. My toddler sure didn't seem to care so why should I? There's a nice mix of toddler to older kid game options. Enough that spending 2 hours there seems to be no problem!! The employees are nice and pretty helpful but don't move at the speed of light. Food service takes longer than you'd prefer so order before your kid will actually be hungry. It is nice to know the food is made to order, though so worth the wait. That being said, I'm a fan of the personal pepperoni pizza there. Not sure why people are digging on it and saying Papa Gino's across the street is better...I disagree. It's no breath taker but it's good. They also sell Dip and Dots ice cream for $3 and that stuff is delicious. Chuck E. comes out every hour and does a song and dance throws free tickets for the kids. It's a lackluster performance but the kids go wild and that's what matters! Prizes are limited for the amount of tickets you have BUT there is the option to buy toys if you really want to spoil your kids. I'm all about getting what you earn but just throwing that out there as an option. Anyway, worth a visit. I'm sure your little one will love it!

Never again on a Saturday! Dirty, smelly and packed! Each game is one token though so not too bad.

Some of the exhibits look a little outdated, but they're always renovating and improving, and they are AZA accredited so I trust that the animals are being well cared for. They do cute family events here (Halloween trick or treating, touch a truck, and Christmas tree lighting) which are a lot of fun! They also have the only Palawan porcupine on display in the US which is cool!

A few of the exhibits were also closed when I went, which made it even less animals to see. But nevertheless, I took my nieces because they have this little waterpark area, which was super cool that it's a part of the zoo. I did end up buying a family three pack membership because I found out that I could use this at several other zoos all around the United States and either get a discount offer or get in for free so it was just a no-brainer. The price alone for the zoo I felt was very reasonable. I didn't like the fact they didn't have any paper maps. They did everything virtual. I like to hold things in my hands to be able to navigate. But I guess that's the kind of world that we live in now where everything is just online. But the exhibits that we did see were nice the animals they appeared to be super close. And right outside the zoo they have a park area as well for the kids that's free. They have a decent size parking lot. The people who worked in the little shop were very sincere and genuine, and the prices were great for the stuff that they were selling in there. I didn't see any informational sessions at all no employees like educating on any specific animals or anything. So I guess it was okay. I wasn't really impressed. It's a very small zoo with not many animals. Maybe when they fix some of the enclosures and bring some of the animals back I can give it a go and change this review. But if you want something on a smaller scale, then you can bring your children here.

There are tons of interactive exhibits including water play, climbing structures, pretend play areas, and building activities--that kept my toddler engaged the entire time. One of the highlights for us was the special area just for ages 0-4. It's such a thoughtful addition because it gives younger children their own safe space to crawl, climb, and play without being overwhelmed by the bigger kids. My toddler loved it, and as a parent, I appreciated that it was clean, well-designed, and developmentally appropriate. The superspace jumbo magnets were another hit amongst kids and adults alike. The parents got so invested into it and were building tunnels for the kiddos. Great fun for us too! Overall the space is very thoughtfully designed, and you can tell the staff really care about creating an engaging environment. They have a new craft activity everyday as well. Everything felt safe, clean, and inviting. It's easy to spend a few hours here without the kids getting bored. Another bonus is that the museum is in a great spot--there are a few restaurants within a block or two, which made it perfect to grab lunch right after all the fun.

There is a large grassy area filled with toy houses that the kids can go inside. There are also some swings and a pretty toddler safe jungle gym. There are a few things about the jungle gym that aren't great for the under 3 crowd, namely a set of climbing rungs built for taller kids and there are 1 or 2 spots on the second level that don't have a railing so if your child doesn't understand how gravity works yet they are liable to step off the edge and fall 4-5 feet to the sandy ground. There is also a cement area with 2 toy basketball hoops that I've witnessed many a stumbling toddler fall on. I appreciate all the benches for parents and misc. caregivers to sit and chat (a big plus if you're there for 1-2 hours a day and don't feel the need to hover obsessively over your child). Best part is that it's gated and that almost every area of the park is clearly visible from every bench (again, great if your an aware, but not obsessive parent). The only major con is the cleanliness of the park, specifically the amount of trash on the ground. There are a few garbage cans but I regularly see people just leaving napkins and wrappers on the benches or ground. It would be great to see people throwing out their trash or seeing the city clean up once in a while. Another lesser con is that nobody bothers to throw away any broken toys, there have been a few times that I've had to deal with a baby crying because I wouldn't let him impale himself on a jagged, broken shovel piece. So that's less than ideal.
