However, before I continue to move forward, it is essential that I emphasize that this writer (myself) has not been the recipient of any incentives, promises, enticements nor has I been subjected or subjugated to any form of threats or any act of coercion by anyone in an effort to induce or compel me to falsify this commentary that's at hand. In all reality on the contrary, it has been very difficult for me on my own volition to try and the find the adequate words that can actually reflect and project the magnitude of the level of professional care that I have continuously and has endlessly received here. Which started from the very first day that I was admitted into this very prestigious facility when I was half dead. McClure has literally and figuratively brought me back to life from the threshold of death when I was ready to give up and succumb to the severe illness that I was afflicted with doing that period of time. However, the qualitative care and treatment that has been bestowed upon me has enabled me to be elevated from the depths of bad health and adversity, back to the paramount of excellent existence and a sound physical disposition that I once knew. (Thanks McClure for your performance.) I am upset about what some of those disgruntled individuals posted about this Rehab Center it was totally, completely and absolutely untrue, unfair and do not have any base in reality far as I am concern, I have not witness any of those unfounded accusations and fabrications that has been written about McClure. Matter of fact, if that type of sub standard treatment was the order of the day here at some point, I would have been long gone from this place many months ago, which I have been housed here for more than a year and I have cherished every minute of it indeed. So what do that tell the reader (meaning you) about this establishment? In a closing remark, keep up the good work McClure because we all here send the organization and your duty bound team of staff a firm salute which is nothing more but a symbol of our never ending heart felt respect and profound appreciation for all the things that you have done and no doubt will continue to do. Also one must not, will not and definitely shall not forget to extend a warm shout out to Andrew, Maggie and McKenzie the three most compassionate and highly competent administrators that's in the business. We discussed my medical and fitness history to determine what I hope to achieve. Balance and strength. He examined me with a strength exam and led me to therapeutic gym area. The equipment are mainly socialized machines. I tried at least five workouts that will overall help me with my core and lateral back muscles. I could not be more pleased. I currently have an elder relative at this facility for many months. The staff are kind,…read morehardworking, and attentive, and responsive to my requests. I agree that the food is not good, they need more funding in their budget to order better food for their patients. The speed of service is lacking due to short staff of CNA's. I have seen my elders at many other Skilled Nursing Facilities, and every one of them are all short on nursing staff. The need to go one by one down the hallway of rooms to change diapers and clean each patient, which takes a looong time. My dad was at a nice facility in Daly City and had to wait hours and hours to be changed, they said not enough nurses too. Aside from that, their patient care is very good. My elder relative has been here twice, and both times she was healed and became much better. Staff that are especially amazing are Ivan, Nice, Marianne (Ebbi?), Isabel, Sarah, Abby, Janine, Joanna, Ngaba, Araceli, Melanie, Steven, and the two wound care nurses too. I've seen them all in action, and they work very hard. I don't know the other nurses names but she and he are all very caring too.

The members of staff at Piedmont Gardens were very helpful and friendly. They were always in contact with me during the stay and kept me informed of my family's status no matter what happened any time of day. Nurses were easy to reach and administrative staff was easy to talk to. Facilities were clean, well kept, and up to date. If there were any unfortunate reasons why we would have to go back, I wouldn't hesitate to reach back out to Piedmont Gardens. I would also like to thank Georgia and Rogger for helping me navigate the stressful time with my grandparents recovering from their hospital visit. I didn't want to write a review until I been around long enough to share my honest experience on…read morethis facility. First off, the location seems pretty safe and there's street parking. There is garage parking, but it's for the workers. The receptionist is nice and requires a Covid test before entering. The place itself is well kept. It's nice and clean, there's an outdoor patio where you can get some sun. A few tables and chairs. Flowers and a small foundation. There's two sections of the building. There's no order or weird smell, this facility is very clean. For the most part, the nurses are really nice, kind and talkative once you get to know them. My mother goes there everyday so she knows all of their names. I have a few favorites because they give my dad amazing care. Even the male nurses and workers are great! They would come in and adjust my dad so he doesn't get bed sores. The respiratory therapist, Gina is amazing! She's so sweet. She's been taking care of my dad really well. Some of the nurses/CNA that I really appreciate and want to show recognition for their hard work is Maribel, Genesis, Michelle, Amanda, Sophia, Daisy, Edwin, Patrick, Ricky, Masa (spelling?) and a few others that I can't remember their names. I mostly know their faces when I come visit. My mother wanted to add: Karen, Liza, Edith who are social workers and they have been very helpful. The nurses, cna's, care takers are all careful when it comes to my dad's care. He can't be on his right side due to the brain injury he has. I would also like to say, the director, Shirley is very kind. She has been a great help during this difficult time for all of us. She's been really accommodating to my mother which I am very thankful. This place and staff is wonderful. They also decorate the courtyard for the holidays (see photos). No negative feedback at all. I've never seen such wonderful aides anywhere--warm, kind, incredibly hardworking (esp. the night aides) and patient with constant demands. The doctor is intelligent, top notch and the nurses & PT's are also highly skilled and professional. I enjoyed seeing my visitors in the sunny courtyard with weekly live music! They found the neighborhood safe and parking easy except during street sweeping days. I was surprised that the food was delicious. (I guess I expected airline food.) Even the director of admissions impressed me with her sense of humor as she adeptly dealt with an insurance issue and knew more than the insurance company. My thanks to BAHC for a great experience!

My mom is being discharged with nowhere to go and no plan in place. This is against Medicare rules…read morebut they just don't care and told me I can appeal directly to Medicare. I have submitted the appeal but it can take 72 hrs while I was given less than 2 days notice for her discharge. I got the email at 6pm on Tuesday that she will be discharged on Thursday. They previously told me not to worry as she would not be discharged without a plan for where she goes and how much care she will need. Now I have one business day to try to make a plan for her care which is virtually impossible.

The nursing staff comes quickly when you call them. They are very attentive. The physical therapists worked very hard with me and after a month I left there walking on my own. The social services there are also very good. The kitchen serves a very varied menu and the food is tasty. There is some amazing artwork on the walls. And there are wonderful grounds and gardens.
