KSK is really the best computer repair experience I've had in 35 years. Extremely easy to work with and super knowledgeable. I even got pick up and delivery. Magic! BestBuy and most others quoted me 3-4 weeks to replace a power supply at nearly the cost of a new machine. I called 10 places and got the Quebec run-around (arrogant, frustrating attitudes, maybe we can fix it maybe not!) - calls that inspired zero confidence. I got KSK on the phone and there was a can-do tone of expertise and when I argued with him ( I was wrong ), he was patient and heard me out. He also made some recommendations about upgrades that would boost performance - but didn't push or up sell - he was just being thorough. While I simply needed my PC fixed, power supply and memory replaced - Im pretty sure KSK could install and maintain an IT set up for a 1000 employee office and build a super computer. Sadly the other components of my system would not fit well with the motherboards that could easily be acquired in a timely manner. I was looking at a repair that would take possibly weeks, this for a critically important computer. KSK instead replaced the bios chip on the motherboard. And it cost me a lot less than it would have cost to replace the motherboard! Good luck finding a tech who can and would do that at most other places. Not only that, but both times I have called him with a downed system, he has picked it up within hours, and delivered it fully functional either the same day or the next! Do expect to pay a couple hundred for the job, or more if it requires replacing hardware, etc., but he is definitely worth it, especially with pickup and delivery, and I expect likely not more expensive than most other places that won't give you anywhere near the same level of service.

I stood around at the cash - all the while the rest of the store was pretty empty - waiting for someone to acknowledge me... When I asked for a 4GB stick of RAM, besides the fact that they were misinformed on what kind my computer required, they went on to tell me that it costs "$130, but I'll sell it to you for $115" - my, what a great deal this must be one might think - well, think again. That same, identical RAM could be bought online for around $45. Essentially, their markup was more than 50%! These are among the reasons I haven't gone back in 5 years and the only reason I went this time was for convenience as it's close to my house, but clearly... nothing has changed since.

Unfortunately, the repaired glass became loose and I wasn't able to use the phone three days after the repair. I had already left the country so it sat in a box for three months. Fast forward to today, and I bring the phone back. Pretty sure he remember me and he offers to re-repair the phone. Because something became loose inside with the connectors, he repaired/replaced that, as well. Everything was done the same afternoon and at no extra cost. Quite impressed because these places are notorious for ripping you off but not this one. The repair guy is very knowledgeable and seems to take pride in his work. A rare thing these days. 5 stars because they stand behind their work. My experience is limited to my mobile repair and the followup but I have no complaints at all. The repair guy knows his stuff and is fast.
