Was told it would be there either the following Tuesday or Wednesday. So we made an appt for May 16th to go get the oil changed and the tire put on. We dropped the bike off the evening of May 15th and at drop off was told the tire should be there the May 16th or the following day Friday. Made a call Friday to see if it was in, they said no it would be in Monday or tuesday. Called again this past Monday the 20th and the tire still hadn't come but looked it up and said it would be here today Thursday and if I got there early enough we would have the bike back. Well here we are and the tire came, but it's the front tire!!! They ordered the wrong tire I'm thinking they didn't even order the original one now. So now we're going ahead and getting the front put on cause we were going to in a few weeks anyways but then we had to go ahead and get the other tire now since they ordered the wrong tire. And now we don't have a bike for a holiday weekend and it'll be delayed because of the holiday. EDIT TO ADD Now the tire is there. Has been there for 2 days and of course the only mechanic they have hasn't been in on the the only 3 days he works. This place is a frickin joke. Idk how you can run a business basically holding peoples stuff hostage. 2 weeks. They have had our bike for. And it's been 20 days since we even ordered the intial tire. What the hell are you going to do to make this right Joe?!?! What a frickin joke. ETA. Now we found someone to come get the bike and tires but it's completely torn apart and they won't let someone come get it so we can have our bike back after 2 weeks.

There is a ton of great inventory on hand here. Both foreign/metric as well as domestic manufacturers/brands, and a variety of sizes and vintages. Of note, there is a great selection of Royal Enfield bikes. Ive been talking with Matt Williams over the phone and via email about my plans for a potential purchase & looking toward Spring, and he has been friendly & helpful. On the day I stopped by in person, a mechanic was on site and I had a good conversation with him as well. If you're looking for a new to you bike, perhaps looking to return to riding, or continuing your motorcycle journey, this definitely is a vendor worth checking out. The operating hours as they stand as of January 2022 are posted.

Hello, I purchased a…read moreused motorcycle here that was sold "as is," but advertised as "well maintained." I was told the bikes typically go through a 16-point inspection. Test rides were not allowed, which should have been a clear warning sign. As part of the deal, I negotiated for new tires to be installed. However, they were not properly balanced (front weights missing), which raised concerns right away. Shortly after purchase, I found numerous additional issues that contradict the idea of a meaningful inspection: - Brake fluid in severely degraded condition and front brake cylinder beginning to cease. - Loose and missing fasteners (foot pegs, fairing) - Valve clearances significantly too tight and partially dragging - Contaminated drive shaft oil and fork oil - Fork misalignment causing the bike to pull - Carburetor pilot circuits clogged, leading to unstable idle and surging To be fair, Matt offered to rebalance the wheels if I brought them in off the bike. However, given the overall condition, I lost confidence and had the work done elsewhere where they had to add a significant amount of balancing weight. I understand "as is" means the buyer takes on risk. However, describing a bike in this condition as "well maintained" and referencing a 16-point inspection is, in my opinion, misleading. Advice: Do not purchase a bike here without a test ride and a thorough independent inspection.

0 Stars. Avoid these mechanics…read more Took my bike in for a diagnostic, but didn't authorize any work. I wanted to see how much the fix would cost before sinking the money into it. Got a phone call two weeks later slapping me with a $400 bill for work they'd gone ahead and done. Unethical but it was within my price range, so I shrugged it off and picked up the bike. It quit on me 45 minutes after riding it. I called them back and they were surprised and came and picked it up. Said they'd get on it first thing Monday. Two weeks later I hadn't heard back from them, so I called them up. "Oh yeah, your bike is ready, man. We rode it around this morning, rides great." Went back to pick it up. As the owner's son was pulling my bike out of the garage, it started literally gushing fuel out of the line. Turns out the inline fuel filter they'd added had been installed incorrectly. But rather than install it correctly, they just took it out. This took them a week to do before calling me and saying once again that it was ready. So I picked it up a second time. The bike quit on me again after about 30 minutes of riding. Wouldn't fire up at all. I was really beginning to question how honest they were being about riding my bike around with no problems. So I took it back again for round three. The owner said he would personally look at the petcocks that day and get back to me. Two weeks later -- still no call. So I called them back. The owner hadn't looked at the petcocks and seemed confused about the bike. He said he'd look at it that day. After a few more days of me calling back, he finally reported that the bike seemed good to him, that it started up fine and he was riding it around. So I went back to get it a third time. He started the bike up for me and I noticed that a LOT of exhaust was coming out of the bike and it was backfiring/popping quite a bit even as it idled, also that the idle was extremely unstable, just chugging away like it was trying to catch its breath. He said, "Yeah, you're running a little rich, but nothing major." I straight up asked him, "Do you think this bike is okay?" He said "Yeah, you're fine." Nope. The bike died on me again after about an hour of riding, (and burned over half a tank of fuel in that time). This time I gave up and took it to another shop. Turns out the bike is actually in bad shape -- the carbs are unbalanced and all out of whack. Interesting thing is, Iron Hogz's original work with my bike involved cleaning, rebuilding, and balancing the carbs. Long story short, Iron Hogz did work on my bike without permission, charged me anyway, majorly screwed up the job they did, neglected to prioritize fixing their mistake, actually never fixed their mistake, and sent me away with a dangerous bike situation three times. I mean, come on... if you're trying to give a "ready" bike back to a customer and its spraying fuel all over the place... your shop has serious problems.

I recently purchased three more Spiegler line segments; unfortunately, the quality did not appear to be at the same level. * One of the three segments was too short by more than an inch (required dropping the forks and creative rerouting to get it to fit - not really a viable longer term solution). * All 6 banjo fittings appeared to be over-crimped - I could not get them to adjust using the supplied tool Two of the three lines were returned to Spiegler for testing. I found the communication with Spiegler to be: * Slow. They consistently missed their own, self-imposed deadlines by a factor of 2 * Terse * Incomplete (never did address the "too short" issue) They returned the lines indicating there was nothing wrong. They also produced a video in which they indicated their ability to rotate the fittings. Unfortunately, I was unable to duplicate their results with the tools they provided me. I still can not get the fittings to turn even after pressing the provided tool in a vise so hard it began to deform and, on another occasion, wrapping the fitting in electrical tape to provide additional clamping pressure within the tool. I was not present during Spiegler's testing so I can not comment on anything other than the fact I can not duplicate their results. I will say that it appears to me that no one involved seems to care. I took videos of some of some of the tests I conducted and I will try to include them with in this review. Failing that, I can share them upon an appropriate request. It should be noted that because of the angled fittings Spiegler used, the inability of the fittings to rotate utilizing the provided tool and the lines' lengths, the lines sold can not be used for their stated purpose. Instead, I purchased a set of stainless braided PTFE lines from eBay of a sufficient length and with fitting angles to accommodate the fact these fittings do not rotate (Note: these lines are sold with the notion the fittings do not rotate). I did not receive, nor did I expect, any substantive customer service from the eBay supplier. I received all of this for about $150 less than the, heretofore unusable, Spiegler product.

When I arrived I was greeted by Mike who was the same guy I spoke with over the phone. He was very straightforward but also elaborated when answering my questions. I was also impressed by his ability to help me with sincerity while also attending to other customers with no issues, not something you see often when people are working by themselves. After test riding the bike he recommended (twice) I asked about a few accessories to add on, some cosmetic and others for fitment. Mike offered great reasoning behind his suggestions and did not try selling me something overly expensive or extra that wouldn't be necessary for my style of riding. Really felt like he was trying to help me find a bike I would be able to enjoy fully. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely utilize this shop with any biking needs moving forward.
