Wow!!!! This salon is amazing! I went in on new years eve to a salon down in Fl and this guy bleached the cramp out of my hair n left my roots orange then I went back that following Monday for him to fix it and he bleached it even more. Let's just say I left the salon again unhappy and my hair was beyond damaged. Then I got back into town and tried to look for a good salon to correct what he messed up. I called chromatics after reading all the awesome reviews and they asked me to come in for a consultation to make sure my hair can handle n e more processing, which I loved, they cared about the condition of my hair. Emily looked at my hair and made her suggestions and I went back today and I could not be any happier with the results. She took the time to pay so much attention to my hair and it's so much healthier. She put low lights in and toned it for a more natural look and no more orange . My experience at chromatics was excellent. First, Patrick gave me a cut that looked awesome and just naturally falls into place. I've received multiple compliments since then, each boosting my day in multiple ways. Subsequently he applied a keratin treatment that restored a healthy shine and smoothness that was noticeable by everyone. Usually, after a salon experience, I could never achieve the same look at home. Now, a quick blowdry and the style just naturally comes back, with hair falling into place even after running my fingers through it. Its a wonderful feeling. I also had a mani-pedi by Danielle, who did an excellent job-- she is extremely skilled, and very easy to talk to, and helped me immensely, from selection of color and style, to follow-up care. I just moved to Columbus a few months ago and was putting off finding a new hair stylist because I was so sad about leaving my previous stylist who I saw for almost 10 years. After some online research I decided to try Chromatics and made an appointment. I didnt request a specific stylist and so I was given an appointment with Tami. I could not have asked for a better stylist!! Tami was great in talking to me about my hair and my style and preferences before we started. She also made some great recommendations regarding how to best color my hair and gave me an easy styling tip. I love my hair and will definitely go back!! She took her time and made sure I was comfortable and liked my hairstyle. She also didnt try to oversell me a bunch of product which I really appreciated. Just finished an appointment with Candace and everyone says my hair looks amazing! I went from blonde with some low lights to all over brunette during this appointment. Candace suggested that we leave a little bit of the blonde from my previous color toward the bottom and let the color kind of peek out around the darker hair, so I went with her suggestion and everything turned out perfectly. I absolutely love my new color and will definitely be back for another appointment in the near future. She kept me engaged in conversation and was super sweet. Love the atmosphere. As other military spouses have said, it is challenging finding a new hairstylist every few years. I am usually disappointed with the first few salons I try at each new duty station. I chose Chromatics based on the online reviews and for the first time ever, I left the salon LOVING my hair. I booked an appointment with Tami. She was fabulous! She did a wonderful job on my color (which usually takes a new stylist 3-4 times to get right) and also gave me a great cut. She was super sweet and I enjoyed talking to her while she did my hair. I would definitely recommend Tami for anyone that is nervous about color or just wants a great haircut. She is awesome! read more

I've never gotten my hair professionally dyed and pretty much only went to Great Clips for the occasional cut, but I decided to dive in at Chromatics Salon. Luis was AMAZING - he seemed really seriously excited to do my balayage and cut, and he made sure everything was right. We both forgot to do a before/after shot - whoops! - but I have received non-stop compliments on both the color and cut since then. It's not the cheapest salon, but you get such awesome service and attention that it's totally worth it. They even make notes about the exact color they mixed for you so that you'll always get the right look when you come back in. read more

Chromatics is definitely the place to go if you're looking for great quality work at reasonable prices! I was able to get an appointment right away and Luis was waiting for me when I walked in. He is very professional and listened to everything that I wanted. I haven't had this quality of work done in a long time. I have long hair and he did an amazing job of only taking off what needed to be cut, also he did a fantastic job with my layers. I just moved in town a few months ago and found this salon online. I read the reviews which helped me decide to go here. I wanted to get balayage highlights and so I booked an appointment with Amy. She did such an awesome job on my hair considering I'm Asian and have natural dark hair plus had grown out highlights/color to work with. I'm very particular with my hair and so I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she met my expectations. She also gave me a nice haircut and took off exactly how much I wanted. Drove by the salon last month and I decided to check out the place. I was able to be seen right away as a walk in. Luis Munoz Puerto Rican and Fabulous was able to perform mommy hair makeover. I am extremely happy with my results. As a Latina my hair is corse and hard to handle, but he took his time and did an outstanding job!!! Also, for the beautiful lady that helped. Thank You !! Booked an appointment because of the great reviews and Facebook pics with Luis. First time was great, second time I came back and my haircut was not close to what I asked for (even showed pictures), and completely uneven. I had to go back to have it fixed and in the end lost 5" of hair to make it all even!!!! I was so upset and left in tears...To add to that my color has already faded in two weeks. The salon is cute, very nice people, but I can't recommend to anyone. read more

I can't ask for a better place to do your hair!!!!!! I was a walk in, I was privileged to get Courtney Pleva!! She is a goddess with hair!!! She was patient and positive at all times. I have to say my hair is very difficult because I have hypothyroidism and the pills I take mess up everything in my body and hair. Specially with coloring. Fantastic salon! It's beautiful and everyone is super friendly. Amy rescued my hair from a horrible hack job and bad color. Being half Asian, it's difficult to layer my hair without razoring, but Amy did a wonderful job of blending perfect layers without it. I feel like razoring damages my hair. Also, she gave me balayage highlights that are noticeable but very natural looking. So thrilled to have found such a professional and warm salon. read more

Fabulous salon! Very clean and modern. Christeil did an amazing job on my color and I love the cut. The shampoo bowls are amazing - there is a head rest, so it feels like your head is laying flat on a table instead of hanging in a bowl that hurts your neck. The staff was very friendly and after just moving to town from the Chicago area - I'm excited to have found a hairstylist that I can trust. I highly reccomend Chromatics! read more

Chromatics Salon is one of the best salons i have been to in the Columbus, GA area. I have been at the salon on two occasions.
