I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience. I booked an appointment specifically for a…read morebase color AND highlights, and I showed the hairstylist reference pictures of the color and overall look I was wanting. However, my base color was never changed only highlights were added. The highlights also ended up being much more subtle and darker than the reference pictures I showed. I was hoping for noticeable, soft caramel/brown highlights with more dimension throughout my hair, but the finished result looks very close to how my hair looked before. I did tell the stylist that I liked it when I left, but I want to be honest that I only said that because I felt uncomfortable being rude after she had finished my hair. Once I got home and really looked at it, I realized I was genuinely disappointed because it wasn't what I had asked for or expected when I booked the appointment. I understand that hair doesn't always turn out exactly like a reference picture, but I feel like there was a pretty significant difference between what I booked, what I showed, and what I actually received. I was really excited to get my hair done, so it was upsetting to spend the money and leave feeling like my hair barely changed.

Lisa was very, VERY attentive to my needs and all I can say are good things! We had a miscommunication on what I wanted originally and she handled it with grace and skill. She's very friendly and easy to talk to about pretty much anything, so you won't have to have an awkward silence while you're getting your hair done. I got my rather long hair cut into long layers, trimmed, thinned out, lifted (bleached) and colored. My hair feels so much lighter now that Lisa thinned it out. My neck used to hurt sometimes because my hair was so thick/heavy and I don't have that problem now, which is a relief. Lisa colored the bleached parts of my hair a gorgeous teal/green color, and I love it! She did what I wanted done with my hair, not what she wanted, which is a good thing to find in a stylist, and it's been hard for me to find in the past. I will definitely be going back as I was blown away by both Lisa's professionalism and performance. You will not regret going to this salon, I promise!

When I walked in I was super surprised to be greeted by a virtual assistant through a monitor. It was something straight out of the Jetsons. After they asked me a few questions they happened to have an opening an hour later so I swiped that one up and came back after a bit. I was randomly assigned a hairstylist, Minnie, and it was like the stars in the universe aligned because we clicked right away. She asked me all about my hair and what I was looking for. I'm a wing it type of person but I did have some things in mind. I ended up getting a trim with some wisby longish bangs and she was able to keep my length which was awesome. At the end she mentioned the different products she used in my hair and sent me home with a "care card" with recommendations on when to return and who else to see if she wasn't in. I was ready for a big change! Skylar was amazing and completely surprised me with her recommendations. After learning I would be traveling to Vegas soon, she said I should wait on coloring it so it wouldn't fade in the sun. We also had a long conversation where I discovered the conditioners I was using were too heavy. I was doing too much for my type of hair. She gave me so much layering and body, while lightening the weight. My hair is so much easier to manage now and looks 100 times better. She could have colored my hair and charged me more, but instead told me what i needed. I can't thank her enough! I paid 57 bucks plus tip for this "cut." Once the next appointment showed up, mine was put on fast forward and I was shooed out the door - but not before trying to sell me a bunch of stuff. My hair cut had more lines than a movie script. Also, there was no fade. Just short hair. The hair wash was very nice. When I went back so that they could "fix" the previous attempt, I wasn't charged - though I kinda felt like they shoulda paid me! I'd go there again if you drove and paid for the first cut, and the following "fix it" cuts.

I love her! Brittany is very talented. When I first started going to her, I had her cut it in a short angled (or stacked) bob. It is hard to find someone who knows how to do that cut but she does it perfectly. Since then, I have been growing my hair out. Brittany has gotten me through that terrible growing out phase (you know the one....right when it starts hitting the back of your neck and drives you crazy). My hair is now half way down my back and I love it. I've never had long hair because it is so thick. Brittany does an amazing job of texturizing my hair perfectly. I do not typically color my hair but have had her color it a few times and she does an amazing job with color too. She also cuts my 5 year old daughters hair. I highly recommend Brittany. I have recommended her to several of my girlfriends. The salon is an old house that has been converted into a salon. It is very charming, trendy and cozy. There is plenty of parking.
