The waiter asks me if it's just for one and I said yes, then he replies the kitchen is closed. Two groups of two walk in after me and he welcomes them for food with open arms. I just came from work and was nicely dressed and kind. I was completely puzzled and hurt at this entire exchange. This was one place that didn't feel welcoming to a foreigner.
