The food is amazing. The people are lovely. It's authentic Sichuan, so don't expect it to be like…read moreany other standard (as Germans would say: "08/15") asian fast-food restaurant. But if you do like the occasional sweet and sour chicken or if somebody who's tagging along is unsure if their palate can take the Sichuan spices, you can even go for these. Even their non-authentic asian food tastes better than anywhere else in town (at least the ones I tasted). That said, my favourite are their Sichuan pepper dishes. Amazing - getting the craving, just thinking about it. Meanwhile the restaurant seems to be pretty well known, especially in the chinese community, because a lot of asians come to enjoy their meal here, which for me is a pretty darn good indication for authentic food. A bit of a let down is the space. It still got it's original German Bierkneipe from the 90's feel to it. The tenants seem to not be allowed to alter it enough (was the same with the Korean place before it). So it could be cosier, but they did their best. So don't be afraid if it doesn't look the way you would expect. Check the photos, and definitely try it out. Huge recommendation!

We ordered lo mein and a seafood noodle soup on the Chinese side of the menu. I actually thought the noodles were pretty good. As for Korean, outside of the bulgogi prix-fixe menu, the only other thing Korean I saw was the Mul-naengmyeon (Korean cold noodles in chilled broth) , which I thought was ok since it was pretty hot. I liked the fact they put kimchi in there. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and would go back again.

Grabbed dinner here after learning that the Korean restaurant I wanted to go to was closed…read more(something to keep in mind when eating out here). I was surprised to see a beef kimchi dish. It was an ok alternative to eating Korean food and it was pretty spicy. My friend also ordered the prawns, which were big and juicy. As for the service, it wasn't the greatest. Since no one spoke English, they tried to give me a waitress who spoke Korean, but she only knew how to say "Enjoy your meal" in Korean. She went off shift and the remaining staff wouldn't respond to us.
