Been here before, no issues but today at brunch, we had a bad experience with a waiter, Justin. He did not appear clean. We split the bill and for some reason one check was $10 more than another. This place came up on YELP as near by, so after we looked at the menu we said we'd try it. NOT DISAPPOINTED! We had the 3 spreads with pita, and they were great. The feta had quite a kick to it, but delicious. I had santorini pasta(vegetarian) and loved it. Veg was crisp tender, pasta cooked perfectly, good marinara. My husband had chicken Marsala with mashed and asparagus, and he cleaned his plate. He liked getting mashed with this. Something different. No room for dessert, and leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Food is nothing short of AMAZING and the vibe is great. My girls love the meatballs ... highly recommend!! I'll definitely be back and would recommend Christopher's to others, but try to avoid having Catelynn as your server. We've had her twice and both times the service was unprofessional to say the least. All of our other experiences there were fantastic. Would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for Catelynn. Phenomenal meal. Came for a family birthday and it did not disappoint. The veal was tremendous and the environment was more than inviting. The waitstaff and bartenders were attentive and welcoming. I visited this new restaurant one night last week and was impressed by the food and atmosphere. I got the Baked Scrod which typically comes swimming in butter at most places (delicious none the less but not exactly healthy). This version seemed on the healthier side and was served with jasmine rice and a vegetable. The meat platter for two was also delicious...everything was very tender and flavorful. My daughter and my friend both got the shrimp scampi and were underwhelmed by the lack of flavor. We let the waitress know and she spoke to the chef. They seemed thankful for the feedback and eager to make things better which is really great. They compensated us with a free dessert which wasn't necessary but was very nice and appreciated. Tonight was our first visit and it was wonderful! We weren't terribly hungry, so we ordered the Dynamite Shrimp app, the Wedge Salad, the Shrimp Scampi and the Baklava. I have been here several times now and just when you think it can't get any better...it does!!! I visited on Saturday evening (8/27/22) with my two daughters and we had a wonderful time. Everything was flawless...from the friendly greeting from the hostess, to the amazing meal and great service. I love the ambiance, music selection and staff that is attentive but not to the point of being annoying ( I can't remember the waitress' name) We all had the Rosemary Lobster (highly recommend) and a glass of wine. My husband and I have been wanting to check out Christopher's since it's opening, the food pics always looked good and the reviews seemed good as well, so needless to say we did have some expectations. We arrived early so we were seated right away, the place is stylish and nice to look at but the food left something to be desired. The calamari was overly greasy, but we remained optimistic. We ordered the shareable meat platter that came with several different meats, fries, pita bread and sauces. The platter is supposed to feed up to 3 but there was only 2 of each type of meat so I'm not sure how a third would be able to eat unless they ate the overabundance of fries. We asked that our meat be cooked medium, but they were all definitely well done and on the dry side, it was a disappointment, maybe they had a new chef on tonight, because our experience does not match others. Our waiter was awesome though, so at least there was that. read more

4th time there and once again this trendy, locally upscale restaurant did not dissapoint....food, service, and drink were excellent...if anything bartenders maybe a little too attentive to the point of intrusion. From apps to entrees they are tasty, hearty, and well presented....drinks a little expensive for locale but good pour....love the convenience of valeting... tough area to cross street....all in all by far best spot in Woonsocket....if ya didnt know better you would think you're downtown Providence! Decided to give Christopher's a try the other night. I made a reservation on open table just Incase it was busy being Thanksgiving eve. The decor is industrial modern, with big bar with high top tables around it. As well as a separate dinner room with tables and booths. The menu had a little bit of everything, from pizza to ribeye to pasta. We started with calamari which was nice and crispy, with plenty to share. I had pasta carbonara and my husband had chicken parm. They were both delicious. The staff was friendly and polite. The restroom's were very clean as well. Had an early dinner here today. Sat at the bar and everything as wonderful !! Very friendly bartender that was able to describe menu items very well. Every item we ordered was distinctive and delicious. The sesame seed coated and fried feta cheese covered with honey was such a delicious appetizer. Went for Sunday morning brunch with girlfriends. Good food and good time! Bottomless mimosa for $24 was a great deal. Wish I had gotten the gyro when I saw it come out. Did try a piece of breakfast pizza, it was slammin. I ordered the Benedict with the sauce on the side, very good. Home fries aren't the highlight of my breakfast so the fact that they were tasteless didn't bother me. Already planning a return trip later in the month. read more

Amazing new place! Just finished my first dining experience at Christopher's! Busy Friday night but only negative was a 20 minute wait, which is understandable without a reservation. They had seared scallops over mushroom risotto and lobster bisque as a special, which we ordered both and everything was perfect! The bisque has actual lobster meat in it! Had a wonderful dinner with delicious food but some complaints. I had the grilled salmon for dinner and my husband had the lamb chops. The salmon was cooked wonderful and my husband enjoyed his meal as well. I would give the food 5 stars. For the atmosphere, I would say the music was a little too hip for us and would be better for a younger crowd. We did end up waiting for about 45 minutes for a table because we did not make reservations, it was a Saturday night. Overall food was delicious, 5 stars. Atmosphere I give 4.5 stars. read more

Christopher's was simply amazing. From the service from Jasmine, and the amazing food. 5/5 on all levels. I went with my girlfriend and I. We started with the zucchini chips and mussels. Both amazing, great flavor and cooked to perfection. For our entree I got the New England style fish n chips and she got the Valentine's Day special which was scallops over risotto and a village salad. My fish n chips were perfectly fried, not heavy at all and great and light. Fries were excellent and so was my Caesar. Would highly recommend coming here. Christopher's - What is your identity. An upscale restaurant, slightly above a bar / pub / etc.? The Positives: Building Interior is gorgeous and at the end of the day - is a nice addition to the limited dining scene in Woonsocket. Was there on a Friday Night and ultimately, it is not a polished / well-run establishment. For example: No bus-boys, girls - walking around filling Water Glasses (a staple of any establishment). Runners do not have any idea of the table numbers. I saw multiple waiters waiting for the server to point them to the appropriate table. In addition, when plates were put down in front of patrons - often in front of the wrong diner. Ultimately, I think there is a lack of training being provided to staff and support staff. The new mobile device to submit orders to the kitchen. Our waitress was struggling to submit orders via the device. Service was very un-polished (would be acceptable if you were at a bar, but this is not a bar) Food was Passable. Draw your own conclusions: - Woonsocket - UnPolished Service - Passable Food Ultimately, I think they need some help in the service department / runners / etc. Would diners w/ very discriminating tastes return? read more

Went out for a birthday dinner with my sister and we figured we would try this new restaurant. I have to say I was very impressed by the ambiance and the service. We were treated like royalty from the time we walked in. The food was absolutely fabulous. The veal parm was spectacular and it was a very large portion. The fish and chips was extremely large and the fries were fabulous. I was very impressed with this restaurant and we will definitely spread the word and we will be back very soon. What a pleasant surprise to find this new spot in downtown Woonsocket. The lamb chops were tender and juicy with a nice char taste. The calamari was good would have liked some olives and peppers in them,but I guess that Rhode island style is different than what I usually have. Food was good, but more of a pub than an upscale restaurant I think it is trying to be. Nice ambiance and décor although no wine list to speak of. Fried zucchini chips is what draws me to Christopher's! Always slightly different but ohhh sooo goood!!! The rosemary chicken is so tastey, that I even ate the tomatoes! Our server Kaitlin (sp?) and her trainee were both very pleasant. We hadn't been to Christopher's in at least 6 months yet the Manager George recognized us even questioning why my husband didn't get the usual lamb chops again! This was a great surprise. We went for the first time and it was fantastic. Great food and service-even carrying special table water. The clam chowder and steak tips were awesome and all reasonably priced! The service was outstanding as well! We sat on the roof deck-the only drawback would be that the roof deck was small but they're doing the best they can with what they have. We will be back! read more

Dined here on 9/5/2021. This was our 3rd time dining here. Service was excellent, our waitress was attentive and made sure we had what we needed, including the drinks which were fantastic (the drinks are truly fantastic). The food was just "ok" during our most recent visit. The dinner roles were hard as a rock, Inedible. Our appetizer was a large portion of fried calamari, tasty, but slightly undercooked. For an entree, my wife and I decided to split the "fruitti di mare". Definitely disappointed with the dish which contained 2 small scallops, 2 small shrimp, and 6 mussels. I say disappointing from a value standpoint as this entree was listed at $29, and this is definitely not a $29 plate. Another thing that didn't seem right was the choice of music being played within the restaurant, it was a dance type of music, it definitely seemed out of place for the 6pm dinner crowd, and personally I found it to be annoying. Our past 2 dining experiences here were great, so perhaps this was just an "off" night, but this meal was pale in comparison to the first time we dined here about a year ago which left me raving about this place. We'll give it another shot in the future, as this is one of the better restaurants in the Woonsocket area. read more
