His staff is the best as well so nice and always willing to go out of way to help you in any way possible I moved 2 hours away 16 years ago and still see Dr Cooley and staff. It is definitely worth the 4 hours of driving to receive that kind of care.

Showed up 15 minutes before my 4:40 pm appointment. Waited until 5:30 pm watching people be called back and then leave after their appointment. I asked the male receptionist how much longer and very rudely replied they would be with me shortly. Told him I had been waiting for over an hour. He said "you have to do that at every doctor office". Never apologizing for running late. Just gave me an attitude. I told him to destroy my file and I was cancelling my appointment and finding another doctor. He said fine whatever. Really? That's the attitude coming from most people these days. Nobody cares anymore and nobody has a sense of urgency. I thought waiting for over an hour was too much. If they can't get you within 20 minutes of your appointment they should not be taking on new patients and should not schedule that many people if they cannot handle the volume of patients they allow. I will NEVER go to a doctor and let them be rude to me like that and waste my time. Our time is just as important as any doctor's time. We are all people and we all have busy lives. They should have told me it would be over an hour and I could've came back. It is just wrong on so many levels.

His person who brings you back to the exam room, informed me I did not have to choose him as my primary care if i was unhappy with the wait time. He will not speak to you on the phone, he demands you make an appointment.

Dr. Climie is extremely patient, very busy, but so knowledgeable and a great listener. She's so easy to talk to as well and so good at explaining ailments and diagnosis in layman's term. I would trust my health and well-being to her, she really has your best interest at heart. It's definitely true that it can take months to get scheduled in with her, but she's worth the wait for a very thorough exam and evaluation. I have been to see her for over a decade and would definitely recommend her to anyone.

She's a fairly young doctor, which I really relate to. I don't feel the need to keep information from her, or embarrassed to tell her things a doctor should know. Her office (along with all the other doctors') is located on the second floor of this Oakwood building. There's a large waiting room with plenty of magazines to read and a TV to watch to pass the time. My doctor has been known to be late to appointments, meaning lots of time in the waiting room, then more time spent in an examine room. I really don't mind this because I know that Dr. Climie is very thorough and listens to her patients' concerns. If being on time is very important to you, request an appointment at the beginning of the day or right after her lunch hour. I've got a handful of friends who come to this particular doctor. We all agree she's great at what she does. If you need a new family practice doctor, I definitely recommend Dr. Climie.

He's an overall very upbeat, positive, and (literally) funny guy. It's one of those things that comes as a shock because everyone is so used to doctors who are overly serious or just dull. But, he knows what he's talking about. I like that he tries to find ways to treat me that is less intrusive to my life than having to go in and get shots every week for months, then every month for years even though that's where the money is. A non-emergency inhaler was all it took to keep my newly diagnosed (by him) asthma, which apparently I've had all my life but never diagnosed, well under control. I would definitely recommend anyone to go see him if you need your allergies or asthma treated.

I've tried every provider there, and unfortunately, none of them seem very knowledgeable beyond general or routine issues. One experience that stood out to me was when I went in for a gynecological concern. The female physician completely minimized my pain and didn't seem familiar with what I was describing. What made it even more disappointing was that the wall in her office had a sign saying she specializes in women's health, but that was definitely not reflected in my visit. Overall, I think they're fine for simple, everyday care, but I would not recommend them for anything more complex or specialized.
