Dr. Browne does not listen or take into account why you are telling her, does not listen to medications that do not work for you. She will prescribe you the same thru g that doesn't work and she is rude and will not listen to your problems or care. Do not make an appointment with this doctor!!!! read more

Dr. Patterson is a good doctor but his office staff are the most insufferable people to have to deal with. They have no consideration for the patient, I've never received any call backs that I was promised, once went almost 2 weeks without a prescription because of their incompetence. Im not sure I've ever left a negative review before so bare with me as I try to get through this but hope to spare someone else what I endured today. First I want to say I have been a patient at this office many years starting with Dr.Fretz & switching to Dr.Browne after Fretz left. Both wonderful doctors & such wonderful nursing staff here as well. The office personnel unfortunately I cannot say the same. Over the years I have always just dealt with the being left on hold & forgotten or hung up on or rudeness, because I love Dr.Browne & the nurses. But what I endured today cannot be ignored. I can only hope Dr.Browne will see this herself but it's unlikely as I read some of the responses to other bad reviews below it appears the office staff is certainly the ones reading & replying based on the unprofessional & rude replies I see. I hope and pray that the calls in their office are recorded & that every bit of anything i said and that they said & did is recorded, otherwise they will likely fabricate a story to protect them and their actions and its of course a simple case of he said she said that leads nowhere. But today I called the office & asked to make a new patient appt for my husband...the woman who answered asked to put me on hold & did...I waited 10mins with no pick up & had to hang up.....30mins or so later I tried again....the person who answered (becca) said "flat rock physicians this is Becca how can I help you?" And I said "I need to make a new patient appt for my husband" & she said "ok I need to place you on hold" & I said "ok..I was just on hold for 10mins though before & nobody came back" & she said "I'm sorry I need to place you on hold" and she did......5mins or so passes and someone else answers and says "flat rock physicians how can I help you?" & I said "yes I was on hold and as I told the other person I need to make a new patient appt for my husband" & she said "ok you'll need to talk to our new patient coordinator" and I said "ok...does that mean you're putting me on hold again?" And she said nothing and just put me on hold. Please keep in mind I said nothing rudely or raised my voice in anyway whatsoever which is why I PRAY they record their calls for proof...anyways the next person who answers spoke very quickly but called herself the office manager and said "we don't think you're a good fit for our office" and hung up on me. I was STUNNED and bewildered. 1st of all I am and have been for sometime a patient at that office and 2nd no professional person should ever handle something that way. I proceeded to call back and was transfered back to the office manager who repeated herself, would not let me say anything, and hung up again. I continued to call many times and the office just picked up and hung up over and over and over again. I was SHOCKED. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this. Since I live so close by and am quite desperate for my husband to get this appt as we believe he needs to be referred to a general surgeon, he is a USMC Combat OIF Infantry Veteran.... and I myself need continued care for things.... I live closeby and went into the office to try to resolve this since I literally could not call. When I arrived I was told dr browne was busy, I offered to wait, and then the office manager came out and gave me a dismissal from the office letter. I again was STUNNED. I have to assume they proceeded to fabricate a story to Dr.Browne and say I was belligerent or raising my voice or lord knows what they said to cover their tracks ans make theirnactions appear justified and make sure they do not get in trouble for their behavior and make sure I do not get the chance to share my experience and what happened to me. Everyone has bad days and perhaps they had just spoken to a rude patient or im not sure what caused this reaction from them and this mistreatment if me... Dr. Browne is very kind and a wonderful doctor and if only she maybe read some of these reviews I'm seeing she might see that perhaps the story/side of the patients in this office is worth hearing too. read more

I started seeing Dr. Fretz almost 3 years ago and she really cares about her patients. She's an awesome doctor who takes time to actually listen and explain things when you have questions. Because of this though she can get back up occasionally. My only beef with Flat Rock Physicians is the front office staff. They've put my wife and I on hold numerous times for well over 10 minutes. We've also run into a few problems booking an emergency appointment when we are sick even though Dr. Fretz tells us to ask the front desk to double book her when we do finally see her. If you can get past the front desk staff then you really will have a great doctor in the downriver area. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Fretz for over 10 years and I'm so happy with her and her staff. My son now sees her too and is very happy. She's helped me through my thyroid issues and has helped tremendously! She is very personable and really cares. Sometimes you may have to wait to see her, but it's because she is so personable and cares about her patients. She don't rush like some doctors do. I highly recommend Dr. Fretz as your primary care physician :) read more

I wouldn't even give them the 1 star if it had a zero star option. The office staff is RUDE!!! I called to make my husband an appointment with Dr. Fretz since his family already goes there. I was told Dr. Fretz has a waiting time for new patients of 10 MONTHS??? And he could see Dr. Patterson. I was ok with that as long as he could switch to Dr. Fretz after the initial appointment. I was rudely informed that he can't switch doctors after being seen by one. Ridiculous in my opinion and after being talked to the way the appointment desk talked to me both times I called I would NOT recommend this office.... read more

My doctor rocks!! This place has 3 doctors, which includes a husband and wife. I have seen all three, my kids prefer Dr Chartier. She is always there for you, will take as much time as you need. She has seen me on emergencies, and the kids. She is funny, outgoing and very relaxed, she gets right down on the floor with the kids, and plays with them. read more

After reading other reviews, I'm actually in the same boat as Brandy R. I had found out that my old Dr's (who had retired a few years ago) Daughter (Dr Fretz) was at this location. Always had a great respect and admiration for the DR who had treated my whole family for 40 years. So I figured I'd continue the tradition and see his daughter. As we called we were told that she wasn't seeing new patients at that time but Dr Patterson was available. After 4 visits between my son and myself and that he couldn't properly diagnose us and after a week of self healing I called to talk to the office manager to see if I could be put on a waiting list for Dr Fretz. She dodged my 3 calls, never called me back, so I went in to personally see her. This next part really took me back to how vile this woman is. Now I'll be honest. I can be a downright ass at times. But in no way did I ever raise my tone or act vulgar like she did. I kept my professionalism while she completely lost hers. So much the other woman behind the counter started yelling at me to get out of her office. I just asked all the right questions, to where I never got any real answers, just a lot of "Wow you really don't understand" trying low ball attempts to lower my stature in a professional setting. They put their office rules over the needs of the patient. The office staff, not going to say the whole office staff, but starts with the manager, is a complete joke as "power of a title" has gone to that woman's head. I'll never go there again as I tried to wait it out because of how awesome DR Fretz is, but even as today as my Wife tried to get seen was hung up on by Karen. Never again. read more

Very rude and unprofessional. 10 days before my appointment they were faxed something from my insurance company that just needed to be signed by the DR. so I could continue to get Gas reimbursement and rides to my appointments. They said they would take care of it, they didn't 5 days before my first appointment now they say they never receved anything. This is gas reimbursement and/or rides to my DR appointments.... Pain managament ...Psych....therapist.....Chiropractor....physical therapy. So my insurance company sends them it again... and calls to make sure they got it. I go to my appointment today I got there at 1:25...my appointment was at 1:30. I already filled out all the paperwork they sent me. Somehow that insurance paper that needed to be signed so i can continue getting gas reimbursement and rides disappered....they don't know what i'm talking about. The lady was too busy giving me an additude and telling me I was late and I owe $50 , said I was supppse to be there at 1. Someone else there told me 1:30 5 days ago I called. She had a bad additude and was mean in general. Telling me now I owe $50 for being late. Just wasn't pleasant...talked to me like dirt. I walked out of there. Had to say i was late 3 times in a minute span didn't let me talk. I told them I needed my blood pressure medicine....they don't care. And why be so mean? read more
